Amanda Jayne Designs - Penguin Couple

 Merry Christmas Everyone

For this post I'm sharing the last of my cards for Amanda Jayne Designs as my term as a Design Team member has sadly comes to an end. I have one more item to share tomorrow, then I'm off to pastures new for 2025. So watch this space!

So for today's card I have created a pretty blue Christmas card using the 'Penguin Couple' digi set. The set contains a generous black outline stamp to colour yourself and a pre-coloured version, which is great if you need a quick card before the big day. I used Copic pens to colour with. I hope you like it. x

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I covered the front of a 5" x 7" card front with some pretty blue snow effect paper. Next I imported the cute penguin couple into my software (FYI I used MS Publisher) and added my own Christmas sentiment, everything was then resized to fit my project.

The image and sentiment were printed onto colouring cardstock and cut with a label die. The image was coloured with Copic pens. The penguins were printed out again onto masking paper, and fussy cut out. The mask was placed over the image and blue distress ink was applied around it. The mask was removed once everything was dry; then mounted onto blue card cut using a slightly larger label die. Funky foam was added to the back to raise it up a little. The finished topper was added to the front of the card.

To complete the card, I added glitter to the hats and snow, and a few pearls to the bottom of the card.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp Set: Penguin Couple

Copic Pens: Penguins - N2, N4, N6, N8, E0000, E000, E00, E01, Y15, Y38 / Hats & Scarves - B000, B00, BO2, B23, B45, B97 / Snow - B000, B00, BO2

Other: 5" x 7" White Card Blank, Make It Colour Card, Blue Card, 'Snowy Christmas' Paper Pad (The Works), 'Ornate Label' Die Set (Hunkydory), Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, Masking Paper, White Pen, Pearls, Glitter, Glue, Double Sided Tape

Amanda Jayne Designs - Christmas Cookie Cow #2

 Hi Everyone

I'm back today to share another of my cards promoting a Christmas digi stamp set from Amanda Jayne Designs. As I mentioned in my previous post, the set is called 'Christmas Cookie Cow' and it includes: 4 digi stamps - 2 uncoloured and 2 pre-coloured. I also used one of the sentiments from the 'Christmas Sentiments' set.

Here's What I Did
For this card I trimmed down a piece of pink textured card and glued it flat to the front of a 6" x 6" card blank, then added a pretty star background frame over the top which was gifted to me by a friend.

I imported the cookie cow into my software and added a Christmas sentiment, everything was then resized to fit my project. The scene was printed onto colouring card, and then coloured with Copic pens. The finished image was die cut into a circle.

The cow was printed out again onto masking paper, and fussy cut out. The mask was placed over the image and blue distress ink was applied around it. Gold paint was watered down slightly and flicked all over the image. The mask was removed once everything was dry; then mounted onto a pink scalloped circle. The finished topper was added to the front of the card. To complete the card, I added glitter to the cookie and a few pink snowflakes.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp Set: Christmas Cookie Cow
Digi Sentiment: Christmas Sentiments

Copic Pens: Cow - E00, E01, E02, NO, N2, N4, N6 / Bow - R20, R22, R32 / Cookie - E31, E33, E35, R20, R22 / Ground - N0, N2

Amanda Jayne Designs - Christmas Cookie Cow #1

Evening Everyone

Today I'm sharing one of my recent cards promoting on of the Christmas digi stamp bundles from Amanda Jayne Designs. I will be back again later in the week with another card using the same stamp set.

So for today's card I have created a sweet Christmas card using one of the stamps from the 'Christmas Cookie Cow' set. The set includes: 4 digi stamps - 2 uncoloured and 2 pre-coloured, I also added a sentiment from the 'Christmas Sentiments'.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of lovely red Christmas paper from my stash and glued it to the front of a 6" x 6" card front, leaving a slim border around the edge. I imported the sweet cookie cow into my software and added a Christmas sentiment, everything was then resized to fit my project. I made the cow a little larger and tilted her so she looked like she was popping up from the corner.

The image and sentiment were printed onto colouring cardstock and cut with a square die. The image was coloured with Copic pens. The cow was printed out again onto masking paper, and fussy cut out. The mask was placed over the image and blue distress ink was applied around it. Gold paint was watered down slightly and flicked all over the image. The mask was removed once everything was dry; then mounted onto red and white card cut using a postage stamp die set. The finished topper was added to the front of the card. To complete the card, I added glitter to the cookie and a few red snowflakes.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp Set: Christmas Cookie Cow
Digi Sentiment: Christmas Sentiments

Copic Pens: Cow - E00, E01, E02, NO, N2, N4, N6 / Bow - R14, R27, R35, R37 / Cookie - E31, E33, E35, R14, R35

Other: 6" x 6" White Card Blank, Make It Colour Card, Red and White Card, 'I'll Be Gnome For Christmas' Paper Pad (The Works), Square 'Postage Stamp Frame' Die Set (Creative Expressions), 'Mini Snowflake' Die Set (Lawn Fawn), Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, Masking Paper, White Pen, Gold Acrylic Paint, Glitter, Glue, Double Sided Tape

Amanda Jayne Designs - Gnome with Lantern

Hi Everyone

Well Christmas has arrived...yay! This is the first of a few Christmas cards made using Amanda Jayne Designs digi stamps. I will be sharing more over the next week or so, so watch out for them both here and on social media.

For my card today I have created a CAS card using the digi stamps called Gnome With Lantern. I coloured the stamp with Copic pens. I hope you like it. x

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
First I die cut a scalloped panel from blue Christmas paper and added it to the front of a DL white card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge.

I imported the cute gnome into my software keeping it to the left of the page, the image resized to fit my project. The gnome was printed onto colouring cardstock, and cut with a rectangle die with stitched detail. The image was coloured with Copic pens. The finished panel was added to the front of the card. To accompany the gnome I die cut a Christmas sentiment 3 times, then stacked and glued them all together. To complete the card, the sentiment was added it to the card front along with a few different coloured pearls.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: Gnome With Lantern

Copic Pens: Skin - E000, E00, E01, E02 / Beard - W1, W2, W3, W5 / Hat, Gloves And Outfit - B000, B12, B14, B16, B18 / Boots - E31, E33, E35, E37 / Lantern - Y02, Y15, Y17, Y35 / Glow - Y000, Y00, Y02, Y15 / Holly - YG01, YG03, YG17, R02, R14, R29

Amanda Jayne Designs - A Latte Love #2

Hi Everyone

As I mentioned yesterday I've teamed up with my teammates at Amanda Jayne Designs to share our cards over this weekend to show how differently you can use the digital stamps and papers. In case you missed my post yesterday the digi set we are using is called A Latte Love and it includes - 2 x uncoloured and 2 x pre-coloured digi stamps plus a set of 10 x digital paper. I hope you like them. x

For my card today I have created a lovely bright card along with one of the digi stamps and my 'Hello' edger die. I coloured the stamp with Copic pens.

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
First I trimmed down a 5" x 7" side fold card blank to 4¼" x 6¼". Next I imported the digi stamps into my software, then merged the girl digi stamp and the leaf border together to ground her. The images were resized to fit my project and moved to the bottom left section of the A4 sheet and printed onto white colouring card. The images were coloured with Copic pens. The sheet was trimmed down to 4¼" x 6¼" (to match the card blank), the top section was die cut across with a 'Hello' edger die. A suitable sentiment was stamped with black ink just below the cut out at the top of the card to complete the panel.

Another rectangle was cut to match the same size as the above panel and card blank. The top section of card was inked up using yellow and orange distress inks. When the ink was dry I attached the orange panel flat to the card front, and added the girl panel over the top.

The word 'Hello' was die cut twice from white card then glued together along with another 'Hello' which I coloured in the same distress inks as before. The die cut sentiment was placed in the corresponding space on the top section of the card. To finish the card I added white dots to her dress and bow, along with a few gems and pearls around the sentiment.

Here's What I Used
Digi Bundle: A Latte Love

Copic Pens: Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20 / Hair  - YR000, E13, E99 / Dress & Bow - YR31, YR68, Y35, Y38 / Boots - E31, E33, E35, E37 / Latte Cup - E13, E31, E33, YG01, YG03, R14 / Leaves - YG01, YG03, YG17, E08, E99, Y15, Y38, YR68

Other: 5" x 7" White Card Blank (cut down), Make It Colour Card, White Card, White, Yellow, Orange, Deep Red, Brown Card, 'Hello' Edger Die and Stamp Set (Penny Black), Distress Inks - Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon, Gems, Pearl, White Pen, Glue, Double Sided Tape

Amanda Jayne Designs - A Latte Love #1

Happy Autumn Everyone

So once again I've teamed up with my fellow Design Teammates over at Amanda Jayne Designs to promote one of Amanda's digi bundles. The digi set is called A Latte Love and it includes - 2 x uncoloured and 2  x pre-coloured digi stamps plus a set of 10 x digital paper. The ladies in my team and myself are each sharing a card today and tomorrow (Sunday), all using the same sets to show how differently they can be used. I hope you like them. x

For my card today I have created a CAS card with strips of the lovely digital paper from the set, along with one of the digi stamps which I coloured with Copic pens.

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I printed out the pale orange dotty paper from the bundle then trimmed it down to cover the card front. This was glued in place. The digi stamp was imported into my software, and resized to fit my project. The stamp was coloured up with Copic pens then fussy cut out.

I chose 4 of the digital papers and imported them into my software and cropped them down to approx 2.5" high to get them all onto a A4 sheet (and as not to waste my ink as well as card). On top of the pale orange piece I typed a sentiment in the middle of it. The sheet was printed off onto thin card.

The patterned papers were all cut down to ½" high strips, apart from one which I cut into a very thin strip (I used a die), they were all glued across a 5" square and trimmed off. The square was mounted onto a fancy edged square cut from brown card, and the completed topper was glued flat onto the card front. To finish the card, the boy stamp was added to the front using foam pads along with a few die cut leaves.

Here's What I Used
Digi Bundle: A Latte Love

Copic Pens: Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20 / Hair  - YR000, E13, E99 / Jumper - YG01, YG03, YG17 / Trousers - E31, E33, E35 / Shoes - N0, N4, N6 / Latte Cup - E13, E99, YR07 YR15, R17

Amanda Jayne Designs - Witch On Broom & Scene Builder #2

Afternoon Everyone

As I mentioned yesterday I've teamed up with Design Team at Amanda Jayne Designs to showcase her brand new Halloween set called Witch On Broom & Scene Builder. We have each shared our cards over this weekend to show how differently you can use the stamps. I hope you like them. x

For my card today I have gone all digital! I used my Ipad Pro, pencil and the Procreate app to create the spooky scene you can see below. 💙

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
Using my Ipad Pro, pencil, digital brushes and the Procreate app. I imported the witch and a few of the other elements from the set into the app and set about creating a spooky backdrop eg sky, clouds and a hillside. I digitally coloured and manipulated all stamp images. To finish it off I added some leaves/flowers along the hillside, plus my own Halloween sentiment.

When the scene was finished I printed it off onto mixed media card for a little texture ( I used high quality print setting). The picture was cut it down to 5½" x 5½" and added to the front of a 6" x 6" card blank.

If you would like to know which digital brushes etc I used, just email me (address on the right side).

Here's What I Used

Used: 6" x 6" Black Card Blank, Mixed Media Card (Canson), 'Square' Die (Tattered Lace), White Pen, Double Sided Tape

Amanda Jayne Designs - Witch On Broom & Scene Builder #1

Afternoon Everyone

This week I've teamed up with the DT at Amanda Jayne Designs to showcase a brand new Halloween set called Witch On Broom & Scene Builder. Lisa and I are each sharing a card today and tomorrow (Sunday) using the same sets to show how differently they can be used. I hope you like them. x

For my card today I have created a framed arched window that peeks out at the witch on her broom, with a brightly coloured sky. I also used some of the extras to enhance my card.

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I die cut an arch window aperture into the front of a 5" x 7" card front blank. Using the same die and a slightly smaller one, I die cut a thin frame from the same black card - I did this 4 times and glued them together.

A piece of watercolour card was trimmed down slightly smaller than the 5" x 7" card blank, to create a panel. I applied and blended different coloured distress inks onto the panel, going from yellow at the bottom to purple at the top (see the list below). Using black distress ink and a couple of stencils I added some clouds to create the sky, then splashed white chalk paint all over it. When the panel was dry I glued it to the front of the card behind the aperture.

The witch/broom, pumpkins and grave stones were imported into my software, then resized to suit my project. The images was printed onto watercolour card, coloured with distress re-inkers and fussy cut out.

Next I die cut a circle from white card and applied a little yellow and orange ink to create a moon, this was glued onto the sky. The witch with her broom was glued over the moon.

Using the small arch die I cut another shape from the same black card, then die cut it again with a hill border die. This was glued inside the aperture as a little hill, and the die cut word 'Boo' coloured with inks, was added alongside a few coloured pumpkins and gravestones. To complete the card, I added a little sparkle to the witch, a few white dots and stars.

Here's What I Used

Distress Re-inkers: Witch --- Skin - Tattered Rose, Tea Dye, Spun Sugar / Hair - Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Tea Dye / Dress, Hat Trim & Boots, Tights - Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn / Hat - Hickory Smoke, Squeezed Lemonade, Wilted Violet, Black Soot / Broom - Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, Rusty Hinge / Book - Hickory Smoke, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron / Pumpkin - Carved Pumpkin, Spiced Marmalade, Mowed Lawn / Grave Stones - Hickory Smoke, Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin / BOO - Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade

Distress Ink: Sky - Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Crushed Olive, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Faded Jeans, Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord / Clouds - Black Soot

Amanda Jane Designs - Little Pumpkin

Morning Everyone

Today I'm sharing the 2nd of my Autumn/Halloween cards showcasing Amanda Jane Designs digi stamp/paper bundle. As my card the other day was geared up for Halloween I thought I would make a pretty card welcoming Autumn. Again I used distress inkers to colour with. I hope you like it. x

As I mentioned the other day Amanda's latest facebook challenge is' Anything Goes'  so why not give it a go - for details check out my last post.

Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
After choosing the bright orange dotty paper from the bundle I printed it out and trimmed it down to fit the card front, leaving a slim border around the edge. The paper was glued to the card front.

The girl and her pumpkin were imported into my software, and resized it to fit my project. The image was printed onto watercolour card, coloured with distress reinkers and fussy cut out.

Using my computer software I again chose the bright orange digital paper, but this time I slightly lightened it and add a typed sentiment; this was also printed off. Next I die cut a square postage stamp frame from white card and glue the pale orange paper to it, this was also stuck to the front of the card

To complete the card, foam was added to the back of the girl and she was glued to the card front along with several pearls.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamps/Paper Bundle: Little Pumpkin
Sentiment - My own

Distress Reinkers - Girl Skin - Tattered Rose, Tea Dye, Spun Sugar / Hair Tea Dye / Shirt & Ribbons - Tumbled Glass, Mowed Lawn / Shorts & Shoes - Prized Ribbons, Hickory Smoke / Pumpkin - Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Mowed Lawn

Other: 6" x 6" White Card Blank, Watercolour Card (Ecoline), Pro Print Paper 220gsm (Create & Craft), White Card, 'Square Postage Stamp Frame' Die Set (Creative Expression), White Pen, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Funky Foam, Pearls

Amanda Jane Designs - Spooktacular Boy

 Hi Everyone

Sorry I've been absent for a few month, but  I was poorly after having a heart procedure done at my local hospital. Thankfully I'm now on the mend now and to celebrate this and get me back into crafting I'm sharing one of my latest cards, using fabulous digi stamps and papers from Amanda Jane Designs (AJD). For my card today I chose to make a Halloween card using the 'Spooktacular Boy' digi stamp which is part of a Halloween bundle. I coloured the stamp with distress inks and reinkers. I've shared my process just after the photos. I hope you like it. x

Don't forget that Amanda has a monthly challenge in her Facebook group each month. This month (August), the them is 'Anything Goes'. If you wish to partake you need to join her facebook group, then use either one or more of AJD's papers or one of her digi stamps etc to create your project. You can win lovely digi stamps as a prize (see link at the bottom of the page), so why not have a go.

Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I imported the boy and his pumpkin into my software and resized it to fit my project. The image was printed onto watercolour cardstock and die cut into a rectangle. I drew a horizontal line across the bottom of the scene to ground the boy, and hand stamped a few grasses to finish it off. The image was again printed out onto masking paper which was cut out and placed over the one of the watercolour card.

I added several different layers of distress ink onto the card starting from the bottom and moving upwards. Clouds were added using a stencil and black distress ink, this time moving downwards. When the ink was dry I hand stamped some trees on either side to create a scene. The mask was removed and I cut out the boy's legs and the tree stump and and a strip of the masking paper to cover these areas. Black distress ink was applied to the bottom of the card, to create the ground. When everything was dry the masks were removed. The boy, pumpkin and stump were all coloured with distress reinkers and finished off with a few pencils.

The completed scene was attached to a slightly larger black die cut rectangle, then onto a black 5" x 7" top fold card blank. To finish off the card I added the letters 'B-O-O' in black card, these were cut out using my Silhouette cutting machine - the letter were cut out 3 times and stacked up.

Here's What I Used

Distress Reinkers:
BOY - Skin - Tattered Rose, Tea Dye, Spun Sugar / Hair - Squeezed Lemonade, Tea Dye / Shirt & Shoes - Prized Ribbon, Hickory Smoke / Jar - Tumbled Glass, Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey / Pumpkin - Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Spiced Marmalade, Rustic Wilderness, Hickory Smoke / Tree Trunk - Tea Dye, Vintage Photo / Ground - Black Soot

Amanda Jane Designs - Bumble Bee Bear Sketch 2

Hi Everyone

I'm sharing the 2nd of my cards highlighting Amanda Jane Designs (AJD) latest facebook challenge using her wonderful digi stamps and papers. As I mentioned a few weeks ago this month's challenge (June) Amanda has created a fabulous 'sketch' to follow. To enter you basically use the card sketch (layout) as your template, it can be used in any direction, as I have done. The rules are that you must use either one or more of AJD's papers OR one of her digi stamps etc to create your card. You can win lovely digi stamps as a prize (see link at the bottom of the page), so why not have a go.

As you can see from my card I have again rotated the sketch a little to create my own layout using all the elements. Once again I have used AJD digi papers and another of her cute Bee stamps, this time Bumble Bee Bear. I used Inktense watercolour pencils to coloured with. I hope you like it. x

Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I used some of the lovely 'Bee-autiful' digi papers from AJD that I printed off a few weeks ago. I trimmed down the yellow striped paper to fit the card front leaving a slim border around the edge, then attached to the card front. I followed this up by die cutting a piece of the yellow dotted paper into a scalloped square, this was glued flat onto the striped paper. To finish the background layout, a strip of black and white dotty paper was glued flat down the left hand side directly over the rest of the papers.

Next I imported the little 'Bumble Bee Bear' into my software and resized it to fit my project. The image was printed onto watercolour cardstock, then die cut into a circle. I drew a horizontal line across the bottom to ground the bear, and hand stamped a few grasses and flowers to finish it off. The image was coloured with watercolour pencils. I created my own sentiment in my software befitting a bee card. :)

The completed scene was glued onto a yellow scalloped circle, and added to the card front along with the sentiment. To finish off the card I added a few white dots to his cheeks and highlights to his body.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: Bumble Bee Bear
Digital Papers - Bee-autiful

Inktense Watercolour Pencils: Bear - Saddle Brown, Sepia Ink / Bee Outfit Cadnium Yellow, Golden Yellow, Cadmium Orange, Charcoal Grey, Ink Black  Grass & Flowers Cadmium Orang, Apple Green, Felt Green
