Sorry my TUSAL picture is blurry not sure why it came out that way. Anyway the only fibers in here are from MLOTS and a pink yarn that was too small for anything. I'll try and be on time with this from here on out.
On MLOTS I completed her hair and face and did all the outlining on her upper body plus the one hand that's completed. I used half stitches in white to determine where to start her other hand at. Those half stitches will be removed soon. I still have lots of beading to do to fill in the gaps but that has to wait for now. In the meantime I am working on her hand, the owl and the long ribbon coming down from her hand and owl.
Sorry I haven't visited anyone's blogs lately. As you all know I just moved to a new place and wow unpacking is taking its time as I am having to open each box before I can figure where and how it goes. I'm trying to work on my craft room (yay! I finally have one!) But I am finding its time to go shopping for ideas on how to put this together.

TUSAL and a Christmas Elf fairy
Okay I know I am very late showing my TUSAL but both kids were ill all the way thru Sunday and even Kiley wasn't feeling well so she stayed home today too but both kids are so much better and will finish off the remaining two days of school this week. Anyway what did I add to this container this month? Different colors from my FS exchange which I can't show yet but I also added more fibers from my Christmas elf as well. I am actually working on her wings as we speak or type? Anyway I am hating working on her wings and was highly tempted to leave them out. But alas she shall have them so she may continue to match my other fairies. And I normally don't mind beading but this one seems to have a ton of them oh well one bead at a time right? Besides the finish product will be beautiful!
DH signed the 4 of us up for a marriage retreat at Edelweiss Lodge. It's a free trip and we always wanted to go there so now is our last chance. We have to go to a few group meetings with our Chaplin but I am actually looking forward to what he has to say. They have free child care as well during these meetings and all kinds of things to do when we are not meeting with the Chaplin. We leave this Sunday and return Tuesday December 1st. 1st SGT is approving the leave of the soldiers to miss work Monday and Tuesday but the kids don't have those days off from school so I will have to let the school know they will be missing more school. And then on the 2nd and 3rd housing comes and collects all our things to ship to Colorado. woohoo! But this means I must have everything we are taking on the plane packed up this Saturday as I don't think I will have the energy when we return. How was everyone else's weekend?

TUSAL and a Christmas Elf fairy
Yesterday I was able to sit and stitch for a good 4 hours! OK I admit I watched TV shows too while I stitched this. But I am happy with my progress and plan to work on her some more today. Names were sent out to for the fair and square round 16 so soon i will have to set my fairy aside to complete MY last exchange for the year. Once I am moved into my new place I will start doing the fair and square exchange again.

TUSAL and WIP
Here is my August TUSAL. Added this month is some yarn colors from making the bear for baby Poe and some greens and fuchsia colors from the below project which should be completed today if i can manage to find a few minutes of peace. I know i should have finished this days ago but my youngest DD has well made my life and her older sis's life a living hell this week but she seems to be back to her normal cute self today so here is hoping. Anyone have any guesses yet on what this might be? Since its so close to be completed Ill probably just wait to show this till i get it actually turned into something.

TUSAL and tinkerbell
So yes I am late this month. Here is my TUSAL this month. I did take the picture on the correct day but am barely getting it posted today.

I am also working on my fair and square exchange squares but its dragging along as I just dont feel like stitching anything. Instead I am crocheting or attempting to make something from it. I'll show you all here if it turns out right. I do apologize for my lack of blogging, the pollen here this year is absolutely horrible! It looks like we have snow in our yard, its that bad. Then you mix the heat in with no air conditioner and yep you guessed it, I am not doing anything! LOL. I am taking more allergy meds lately and it seems to knock me out or make me groggy to the point where I just can't do much of anything. It sux! I have so much I want to be doing.
Tinkerbell graced us with her presence this weekend as well!
Batista wasn't feeling well Friday and just laid in his kennel not really eating and only drinking a little so I pulled him out of his cage at 8 pm and took him outside so he could go potty. He practically crawled outside like every step just hurt. So when I brought him back inside he laid under the table and on his back. DH noticed his lower abdomen had a hole in it! He had licked and knawed on it creating the hole plus he was all dark red! So we called around on post and off post looking for an emergency vet to be open. You know what Germany gives you? one number leading to another number leading to another number and so on. So no way we could take him to get help. So I was crying as yes my first thought was my puppy has an infection and I can't get him in anywhere until Tuesday because its a 4 day weekend and everyone is closed till Tuesday. I sat with him Friday night until he fell asleep. He did get up and moving around on saturday and the hole has healed up but he is covered in a red rash on his adomen. He saw the vet tech yesterday who said this is not normal (duh! did I really need a tech to figure this out for me??) And I need to see the vet himself which means making another appt. Did you know the vet only works in the a.m. 3 days a week? Must be nice! So Batista goes on Tuesday May 2nd to see what this is and what its causing. In the meantime I am not taking him to the dog park or allowing him to play with other dogs. If this was caused by another dog then I know who it was from as he plays with one other husky on this post as of recently. Though the tech said it could be allergies too.

TUSAL and Fair and Square Round 12
Yoyo - The DeFac wouldn't give me a large jar, I tried them both, I swear. They basically said for all they know I plan to smash it in the streets. Do I look devious to you? But I am going to go off post next Friday to the German stores and am hunting for a large jar no matter whats inside! LOL
I also saw today that Marg F. received my Fair and Square Round 12 squares and so now I can also show you these. Glad you liked them Marg. This was the Quaker hedgehog freebie by The Workbasket.
I wonder where my Spring Round has gone too now as it was mailed out on the exact same day and was only going to south Carolina. Normally it only takes like 7 days for it to reach anywhere in the USA......
To answer the questions about Bob the guinea pig. He is doing great! So he gets to stay and we decided to leave his name the same. Their are no fights or anything with them, its like he was there from the beginning. ^_^
And now I leave you with a picture I thought too funny not to take. Kiley fell asleep on the couch last week with one finger in her ear and in the other hand is a straw from the juice box you see on the floor next to her.

Barbie PJ's and Totally Useless SAL
Suzie posted a cute PJ pattern for barbie so I showed the girls and they liked it so I made them each a one in different colors. Pattern is here and here are the ones I crocheted:

Also it is that time again to post our Totally Useless SAL (info and sign up is here) so here is mine:
I did a bunch of crocheting and started a few new skeins of DMC floss so there are the labels for them in there along with many new orts and yarns. I may be able to fit some more orts into there before I have to go hunt for a new container. Hmm at this rate it could be a new container a month, wow! Where am I going to store it all? DH is going to think I am crazier than I already am for not just tossing it out and re using the same container, LOL.

Totally Useless SAL and other "stuff"
Ok first a few days ago I joined this Totally Useless SAL, it doesn't add any work to what I already do so it makes it so easy to continue to do and sounds fun as I always throw my orts onto the floor to be vacuumed up later.... Well you all know since having a 11 week old puppy, he eats everything he can find so my orts can no longer go onto my floor so this ensures it. If you want to know more or even join in you can look here. I have a few scrap flosses, some papers off new flosses and yes thats a yellow crayon. It was going to be part of something but then I changed my mind so I just tossed it into here.
