 Hey All!!

So, the theme for this week is Jack's First Birthday! I am SURE you got that already! LOL! Tomorrow will be the last day for items made for his birthday! He is such a cutie, I wish I would of made more things for him!!!

For his 1st birthday, I told my sister in law I would do a banner for him. She told me the theme was Sesame Street, and I went to town! Its funny how people think, cause Jenny from Crazy About Cricut made a banner for the Jaded Blossom hop and I almost died when I saw it! We had the same "idea" on using the die and rosette's but, here is SOOO much nicer and soooo much more festive!!!

Well, here is Jack's Banner (please note, I did NOT make the pin the nose on Elmo, lol)

Here is a closer view of it!

Cricut Expression
Cricut Sesame Street & Friends, Sesame Street Font
Jaded Blossom Fancy Topper Die
Tim Holtz Rosette Die
Recollections paper

You should have started at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ if not please start at the beginning

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's 100 cartridge Blog hop!
.

Collectively the design team uses over 100 different Cricut Cartridges in their projects during the two days of this hop. Sunday the new members of the design team will be announced and some have even made a project to share with you!! What an exciting weekend!!

For my project, I created a crayon box for my son to use at school! I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2, Locker Talk, Word of Mouth, and Sesame Street Font.

I used my Cricut Imagine to color all the pieces and to make the backgound paper!

The background paper for this box is one of the background pieces from WORD OF MOUTH

The box was cut at 9in from TAGS BAGS BOXES AND MORE 2. I also cut the crayons from LOCKER TALK at 4 inches.

I also decided to use my GYPSY to weld my son's name from SESAME STREET FONT and put his name on one side.

Used SESAME STREET FONT again to spell and weld the word crayons.

Card Creating Tuesday at My Cricut Craft Room!

Click HERE for my Close To My Heart store where you can purchase the new Cricut Artiste Cartridge!!!

Hey All!!!

Today is Card Creating Tuesday over at My Cricut Craft Room!

For today's challenge, you can create ANY CARD!!! Woo Hoo!!

For my card, I wanted to make a card for my hubby to say just how much I love and appreciate all that he has done for me lately! He is not into "lovey dovey cards", so I had to make a fun one for him!

Here is what I came up with:

I used my Gypsy, Sweetheart Cartridge, Paisley Cartridge, and Sesame Street Font Cartridge to make this shaped card!!!

How cute is it??

Here are the screens on my Gypsy showing how I welded and made this card!!

First, I found the image I wanted to use. Once I found the image and figured out how big I wanted it, I duplicated it, flipped it upside down, and moved them together until I was happy with the placement. Then I hit the weld button.

Next, I printed another layer to place on top of the front of the card, so I could create the frog/toad in my layers. I also made my sentiment for the inside. All of the 3 parts of the sentiment are welded together for easier placement!

Finally, I printed the rest of the layers (eyes, crown, belly) and then placed them on the card.

I cant wait to give hubby his card!!! I also hope my card inspires you to work with your Gypsy and create some beautiful cards and projects!!!

Please make sure you check out the rest of the wonderful projects from my other DT sisters by going to www.mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com
