N - Like Note Book

Good Morning,

 

today I have a new project to share with you. I made another note book. On this note book I used an image from Saturated Canary and coloured the girl with Distress Ink (refills). Because I used the soft coloured papers from Majas Sofiero collection, I coloured the girl very soft, too.

 

 

I covered the front and back of my little note book with the pattern "Exuberance of flowers in Bloom" and  "Princess Margareta's Garden". They are matching perfect. Underneath the image I put die cut made with Rounded Frame from Magnolia and Majas "Royal Summer Residence" pattern. The corrugated cardboard is painted with white Gesso as usual.

 

 

A highlight on the cover is the straw in composition with some flowers and a Pen nib from Tim Holtz. The straw is covered with a piece of "Exuberance of flowers in Bloom" paper because it looks so nice when everything fits to each other.

I binded a little charm with a bit of lace at the wirebound.  You can find so cute other key charms in Tina's shop like the Romantic Key and the Key with Heart. They are too lovely.

As promised we have our DT Liz here today..
Let's see what she made for this Things with Wings week..
Are you all ready?

Yep.. It's a milk carton..

One with a lot of gorgeous details..

Let's start with two of them..

Our Lace Fleur..

And the Rose Leaf Magnolia Doohickey..

This is another spectacular example of how to make an amazing project with just one Pion Design sheet..

Yeah.. That's right..

Our Liz used just one Phlox 6x6 sheet to decorate this..

The front has the birds and flowers part..

The striped pattern is used on the sides..

The pink part for the top part..

Everything is closed with one of the awesome Tim Holtz Hinge Clips..

But another Idea-Ology products is shown on the next picture..

I'm talking about the Film Strip Ribbon..

And that's not all..

This vintage card that is attached on the top is also a part of that same sheet of paper..

Seems almost unbelievable, right?

Liz used some WOC flowers and Bead Berry Spray Clusters also..

Here's a thing..

We are expecting a huge quantity of WOC flowers very soon..

The pink and white rose on the right is one of the novelties..

Intrigued?

The sentiment?
Still that same sheet.. This is getting crazy..

The little dots around there were made with some Liquid Pearls..

And nope.. That is not a fake drawer..
It opens for real..

I'm talking about the Archival Ink of course..

It was really difficult to decide which products to get first but we went with the ones we think are must haves for your everyday crafty needs..

But no project is complete without some pretty final touches..

Liquid Pearls and Stickles are the real deal when it comes to that..

And the Tissue Wrap is something no mixed media artist can live without..

Wanted to try the Distress Glaze..
We got that too..
