Grand-daughter's birthday card

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all as well, warm and dry as you can be...hugs

I cannot believe that my Grand-daughter will be 24 on Monday,  she doesn't  'do' blogging so it's safe to post! She also doesn't like flowery or fussy so I have kept it quite CAS.

Basecard is my usual white linencard from The Range and I have printed my photograph and sentiment onto the same.
Photograph taken at Twycross Zoo a few years ago.
I found a scrap of green card in my bits box for the mat.
Corners rounded with my Corner Chomper.
Not really anything else I can say about it :o)

My old friend the Orang Utan

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all as well as you can be...hugs.

I would like to welcome new follower Marie-Louise, lovey to have you aboard...hugs.

Onto my card for today. This is a photograph I took at Twycross Zoo way back in 2010. I have used him on cards before but I thought it was time he saw the light of day again. I still have to smile when I see him and remember the day I took it. I was so fascinated with him, and I stood watching him for ages! He had such deep wisdom in his eyes and looked at us mere humans as though we were to be pitied!

Basecard is my usual white linencard from The Range, folded and cut to fit a 6x6 envelope.
Photograph pritned onto the same card, then cut with Die-namics round stitched circle die.
Sentiment stamped with Stamps and Smiles then cut with Die-namics fishtail die.
Foliage cut from a piece of scrap card with Memory Box die.

For a change, I decided to add my original photograph so here he is in all his glory. I had previously been watching him ambling around then he decided he wanted to be above us all, so up the tree he went :o)

This was him before he went climbing :o)

4x4 notecard

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world and you are not badly affected by the remnants of Hurricane Gonzalo...hugs

I made this little notecard weeks ago and never got around to uploading it while I was preoccupied with Christmas cards. At the moment this is the last one I have to show you whilst I am in the middle of a 40 Christmas card order and every one of them needs to be hand coloured so they are taking forever! I hope I will be able to get something made in very soon! At the moment I am about to start colouring #26 of the 40, then of course there is all the folding, cutting to size and inserts to do. Methinks I will be begging for mercy by the time I get to the end of them LOL.

Onto my little card for today.

This is Ganesh Vijay, he was born at Twycross Zoo in 2009, but sadly died about 18 months later! In this photograph he is only a few days old. I took a few more photographs when he was a month or so old so although he is gone he is not forgotten.
I designed the card in SCAL and cut it on the Cricut. My Cricut is the original one (nearly 8 years old) from before we could connect them to the internet so I can only cut smaller cards.
Printed onto white linen card and cut with Spellbinders. I hope you like it :o)

Christmas penguin x 4

Good morning everyone, I hope that all is well with you and that it's not raining where you are.
I was wearing my Christmas head on Sunday so I had to make Christmas cards and here they are :o)

I cut and folded white hammered card to 5x7, my favourite size cards.
All of the backing photographs were taken at Elvaston Castle and the penguin was taken at Twycross Zoo.
I feathered the penguin and added it to each background photograph, then added a sentiment. I printed, cropped and layered them onto plain black card. The tree, holly and snowflakes are all Memory Box die cuts. That's all there is to them, all quite simple :o)
