Christmas Countdown 5

I held back on posting the last set of five pennants, etc for my Christmas Countdown until I hung the entire 25 up.  I hung them up this morning and took some photos of them.   This is like an advent calendar (with no chocolate in sight) crossed with a December Daily.

At the end of today, I will take down #1 and write something about today - as Beccy's Place Month of Holiday Cards is still running through today (I am in December already), that will be one thing that will be written on it.

Christmas Countdown 4

I am still on target to complete my Christmas Countdown for 2024 by the end of November.  Last year, I think I finally finished it around the 10th December.

Christmas Countdown #3

This is my third set of pieces for my Christmas Countdown banner.  I'm hopeful that I will get the rest of them completed by the end of the month and maybe be able to post a pic of them up ready for December.

The papers used are all by Tracie Fox.  The cardboard backing is recycled cardboard that I would have otherwise put in the recycle bin.  I then added a blank piece of photocopy paper to the back so that I could record what I did that day

2024 Christmas Countdown 2

I managed to complete a few more of my banner pieces for 2024 while talking with my daughter yesterday.  These five are star-shaped, banner shaped and tag shaped.  They will be attached to a line of twine using pegs.

2024 Christmas Countdown 1

Last year I created a Christmas Countdown made of various shapes that I was struggling to get finished before the date came up in December.  This year I am starting earlier in the hope that it is completed before December 1st.

The idea is that at the end of December 1st, you bring done the 1 and record on the back what you did that day.  You continue doing this until you reach Christmas Day.
