Summer Time!

 The Challenge for October at Path of Positivity is Celebrate Your Favourite Season.  There are things that I like about both Autumn and Summer and I couldn't decide which was my favourite.  After showcasing Autumn for the start of the challenge, I have moved on to Summer for the Midway Inspiration.

 

I have used a digital paper.  The images are from Doodle Dragon Studio, Sami Stamps and Neat and Tangled (from top to borrom) and the sentiment is from Trimgym.  Colouring is with copic markers.

I have used a digital paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The image is from Sami Stamps and the sentiment is from Bird's Cards.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added some Glossy Accents to the candy cane and berries.  I added three glitter gems and a cat themed sticker.

White On White

I haven't made a white on white card for a while and I'm away from home and don't have as many of my white cardstock, embellishments, etc as I would like so I have created a more CAS card with what I do have:

I have used a white card blank.  I embossed some white cardstock with an embossing folder from Couture Creations.  The image is from Sami Stamps and coloured with some crystallina Kindy Glitz which looks white in the bottle but picks up other colours when photographed.  I also added some white grosgrain ribbon and some white pearls.

I have used two papers from a paper pad by Kaisercraft called "Cottage Rose".  The image is from Sami Stamps and is coloured with copic markers.   I added a pearl to the larger flower in her hair.  Matting is pearlescent cardstock.  I also added some larger pearls and gold star sequins.

I have used a paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  The image is from Sami Stamps and is coloured with copic markers.  The matting and flowers have been cut from some pearlescent paper.  I added some pearls and some white dots to the flowers.  I also added some lace from Sullivans and a polka dot bow to the card.

I managed to find a little bit of time today to create.  Just one or two cards a week gives me a little bit of me time when I am so swamped with work.  About another four weeks to go, and things will ease up again and I'll have some more time for me!
