I don't very often use black and white images but had the idea with this one to use colour in the background and the embellishments.

I have used some papers that were scrapbook papers sitting in my stash.  The image is Belle from Platypus Creek Digitals.  I have coloured her with copic markers and then added Stickles - Crystal to the wings.  I also added some stitching around the edge of the die-cut to match the ribbon.  The die-cut is a Spellbinders oval die.  The stitched grosgrain ribbon is from American Crafts.  I have also added a little flower and some small rhinestones.

I have followed this sketch for this card:

I have used background papers from two different companies.  The checky one is from MME and the butterfly one comes from Mariposa Matstack by DCWV.  The image is from Platypus Creek Digitals and is called Ulysses Butterfly.  Matting is cardstock by Rosies Studio.  I have kept the colouring simple for this card and only used copic marker YR02.  The die-cut butterfly matched perfectly with that colour - this die came free with a magazine.  I have also added some Stickles along the inner edges of the butterfly paper.

Sadly, this is the last challenge at Platypus Creek Digitals.  I have really enjoyed participating in these challenges and will miss them.  I am going to try and complete two cards using Platypus Creek Digitals for this final challenge - this one is the first of them.  I have another winged image that I hope to be able to use.

I have used a paper from a paper pad by The Craft Spot which I bought several years ago.   The green striped grosgrain ribbon is from American Crafts.  The image is from Platypus Creek Digitals and is a great image for boy's cards - a boy and food what more could you want!  I have coloured with copic markers - I forgot to write them all down so some are missing from the list - B29, B23, G02, G000, E00, R27 or R29 and three E colours.

I have also added a strip of Glitter Tape from American Crafts, some green star shaped rhinestones and a sentiment from Limited Runs.

While I was out and about today, I found a store that had MME paper pads at half price, so I bought a few.  Of course, I couldn't wait to use them!  So, this paper is from one of the pads I bought today.  The image that I have used comes from Platypus Creek Digitals.  I printed it in two different sizes - one as the main image and then three small ones to act as the stopper for the easel.  The lovely purple bow is organza ribbon tied using my Bow Maker.  The colouring on this card is with copic markers V15 and V12.

I have used a sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp as the basis of this card.  The papers come from a paper pad by Webster's Pages called Petite Papers.  The embellishmetns are a banner cut using a Spellbinders Die; two triangles cut from a square Spellbinders die-cut, a flower created using a Marianne's Creatables die set and some pearls.

The stamp and sentiment are both digi stamps from Platypus Creek Digitals.  I have coloured using copic markers.

Pocket of Flowers

This card evolved a bit from the concept in my head.  I was originally going to add pearls to the centres of the flowers but altered that to on the pocket itself and the sentiment on the paper!

I found this gorgeous paper in a paper pad by MME which was just perfect for thefeel of this card.  The colours matched perfectly - I had already coloured the image when I decided to go looking for paper. 

The image that I have used is from Platypus Creek Digitals.  I have coloured the image using copic markers B05, B00 (I think), R02, R000 plus a couple of greens but can't remember which ones I used (may have been YG17 and YG11 but I'm guessing here!).

The pearls are from Kaisercraft and I have used two different sizes on the pocket and the smallest ones on the sentiment.  The flowers have been crafted using a Marianne's Designs die and some metallic paper.  The matting is some pale blue textured cardstock from DCWV.

I missed the last challenge at PINspirational Challenge last time as I calculated the linky date wrong - back to school to learn some maths maybe!

This card evolved as I'm starting to recover from this dreadful cough etc.  Just coming into winter here it is the last thing I need!  I think I started feeling a bit clearer in the head and therefore a bit more creative.

The card uses paper from two different paper pads.  The pink background one is from a paper pad called Me To You With Love.  The paper on the tag comes from a paper pad by DCWV called Serenity Matstack. I used kraft card for matting and added some pink and brown ribbon from American Crafts.  The image that I have used comes from Platypus Creek Digitals and is called Flowers for Mum.  I coloured the image using copic markers inspired by the colours in the DP.  I have added some fibres to the tag and a charm that comes from my stash.

I have had this paper for so long that I have no idea of the brand name!  The image and sentiment from Platypus Creek and have been coloured using copic markers. I have added three small bling across the centre of the egg.  The other B embellishments are my purple buttons and yellow organza bow.

I have used a few items from my stash for this card - background paper, lace, rhinestones.  The button comes from a box of buttons that my Mum let me raid last year.  Since the buttons had been in that box for about 30 years and I could use them in crafting, she left me have them!

The background paper is from Bearly Mine Designs.  The image is from Platypus Creek Digitals.  The sentiment is an acrylic stamp which I have inked with copic marker and then die-cut using a Spellbinders banners die.  The tag has been hand cut and coloured with copic marker.  I added a pearl to the top where the hole would be.
