One's destination is never a place..

 I had overlooked posting this earlier in the month, but as the challenge is still ongoing, it can serve as a reminder post.

I have used a digital paper from PixelScrapper.  The images are (from top to bottom) by Digi Darla , Lacy Sunshine (now called The Colour of Love) and Delicious Doodles.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added some text stamping.

Music

 It is the start of the last 2023 challenge at Path of Positivity.  The optional twist this month is Inspired by Music.  For my inspiration piece for the start of the month, I was inspired by band/orchestra music.

I have used a digital paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The first two images are from Digi Darla and the third is from Digi Stamps 4 Joy.  The sentiment is from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.

Happy Father's Day

 It is the start of the September Challenge at Path of Positivity.  The optional twist this month is "Inspired by a Tic Tac Toe Board"

I chose the bottom row of Vintage, Masculine and Use die-cuts

I also used a digital paper.  The images are from Create with TLC and Digi Darla and the sentiment is from Desert Diva.  Coloring is with copic markers.  The cogs are die-cut using a die from Memory Box.

Happy Christmas

 This month at 12 Months of Christmas, the optional twist is Fur, Fluff, Feathers or Fins


I have used a digital paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The image is from Digi Darla and the sentiment is a stamp (possibly from a magazine but I can't be certain as I stamped this some time ago).  Colouring is with copic markers and Kindy Glitz.  I dotted some of the Kindy Glitz around the sentiment using my finger.  I also added some blue grosgrain ribbon and some star confetti.

The Gift Of Love

The optional twist at CHNC this week is "Use Some Glitter"  I have used some glittery digital paper along with some glitter domes and glitter on the angel wings.


I have used a digital paper.  I also used an angel image from Digi Darla and a sentiment from When The Scrap Hits The Fun.  I added glitter domes to one corner.

Christmas Holly - in March

I try to prepare my Christmas cards throughout the year - although sometimes it kinda feels weird colouring holly images in March!

I have used a paper from a paper pad for the background.  I added some sparkly Christmas mesh ribbon.  The image is from Digi Darla and has been coloured with copic markers G17, G14, R59 with the addition of Glossy Accents to the berries.  The sentiment is from Desert Diva.  I added some faux stitching using a Distress Marker to both the sentiment and the image.  I also added some red pearls from Sullivans.

I have used a background paper from a paper pad by MME.  The image is Snowflake Fairy from Digi Darla.  I coloured the edge of the diecut with Distress Ink - Spun Sand and then added a bit of colour to the image itself using copic markers.  I highlighted all the snowdrops with Stickles - Star Dust.  I used a Spellbinder die to cut out a large snowflake from white glitter cardstock (DCWV) and then added three transparent buttons from my stash.

With Sympathy

This has been a sad week with the passing of one of my son's favourite teachers from Primary School.  She was a very vibrant person, wearing big dangly earrings and often wearing purple.

The two favourite card styles that I tend to are CAS and following sketches.  For this one, it is kind of a bit of both.

I have used papers from Trimgym for the background and matted with brown cardstock from Rosie's Studio.  The image is from Digi Darla with a sentiment added from Daizeefli.  I have also used some brown mesh ribbon and a Pacifica embellishment.  Colouring is with my copic markers.

The upside down sketch.......

...that wasn't meant to be upside down!  I was busy putting this card together and was about to add my image when I realised that the card was upside down.  I turned the image up the other way and problem solved!  Fortunately, the paper works either way up!  It has been one of those months!

Lighthouse By the Sea

I haven't managed to create any cards since returning from Swim Camp as I have had so much to catch up on.  I needed for my sanity to create something, so have managed to pull this one together before the deadline of two challenges!

I have used some papers from Provo Craft to create the background.  I followed the sketch at Sunday Sketch and Stamp (link above) and used an image from Digi Darla which I coloured with copic markers BG09, BG05, E53, W3, W1, G82, G85, C1 plus Distress Marker - Mustard Seed.  I added some peelcraft stickers to the diagonal piece (which I flipped from the sketch).  I added some bling to finish.

I am not going to claim that I remember this song at all from when it first came out!  I googled it and discovered it was written in 1929 - long before I was born.  However, it is one of those songs that seemed to still be around when I was growing up (probably still showing my age a bit here!).
