 Today is the start of the April Challenge at Incy Wincy Designs.  For this month, the themes are Inspired by Movie/Song/Book and/or Sketch Challenge.  I opted for the sketch challenge:

I have used a digital paper from Computer Scrapbook.  The images are from Bird's Cards, Create Me Pink, and Princess Bella Lockwood.  Colouring of the images is with copic markers and the edges have been inked with Distress Ink.  I added three rhinestones.

Every Moment is a Fresh Beginning

Midway inspiration time at Path of Positivity Challenge.  The optional twist this month is The Power of Words - New Beginnings.

I have created a page for the new beginnings of Spring.  

I have used a digital paper from PixelScrapper (Janet Scott Kemp).  The images are from Scrap Happy Paper Crafter (two on left), Bird's Cards (rose bud) and Sandi's Samples (wheelbarrow).  Colouring is with copic markers and the inking is with Distress Ink.  I added some stickers that I recently purchased from a Japanese branded store called Daiso.  We have them in two of our major stickers and I was on holiday in one of them so went in to see what they had in stock.

 It is time for the May reveal at Card Chain Challenge.  This is the card that I sent to Imke in Germany.  I haven't heard that it has arrived as yet so I hope it isn't too far away.

I managed to use all seven elements, although the blue/silver paper looks more silver than I would like!

I am having one of my days where I have been tired all day long and now that it is time for bed I feel energised and wide awake.  I'm trying to break that cycle but so far have been unsuccessful.   At least it meant that I finished this card that I had started earlier in the week.

I have used two digital papers from Trimgym.  I covered the join with some narrow ribbon.  The image is from Cute n Crafty Momma and the sentiment is from Bird's Cards.  Colouring is wtih copic markers.  I also inked the top of the card and the outer rim of the sentiment with Distress Ink.  I created the embellishment using Angelina Fibre to create the bag and then filled it with some shell and starfish embellishments.

Relax & Take A Little Time For Yourself

That is something we all need to do at the moment.  I am spending a fair bit of my day either reading or crafting as both are relaxing for me.  That is, when I'm not trying to clear my blocked nose!

This card uses a previously printed digital paper and sentiment.  I am trying to conserve my printer ink through our lockdown by printing as little as possible.  I'm not sure how much printing I can get done out of the remaining ink.

Today's theme at Gecko Galz is "Bee You".  I wasn't sure what to do for this one, but then discovered that I had at least two images with bees in them.  One of them wasn't very prominant so I decided to use both of them.  I'm really pleased with how this turned out.
