The inside cover with a flap pocket on the side to add some bits and pieces.  The images are by PaperCrafting World, Scrap Happy Paper Crafter and A Day For Daisies

The "Watermelon" spread with images by unknown (if anyone recognizes the one on the top left leave me a comment with the source and I'll amend my post), Whimsie Doodles, Imagine That and Doodle Pantry.

The Flip-Flop (known as Jandals in NZ) pages using images by Newton's Nook, Just Some Lines, Neat and Tangled, Scrap Happy Paper Crafter, Create with TLC and DZ Doodles

The Pool Party pages using images by Fresh Brewed Designs, Flat Friends, Diddy Bags, Bugaboo, Platypus Creek and KennyK Stamps.

Buttteflies and Ladybugs pages:

Road Trip Pages inside the back cover.  Again there is a pocket to slide in some memories from our road trip.  The images are from Doodle Pantry, Anji's Antics and Market St Stamps.

Make Your Own Background

The challenge at Incy Wincy Designs this fortnight is to create your own background.  The challenge is sponsored by A Day For Daisies.

I recently went to a craft fair and one of the make n takes was creating a background using Distress Oxides.  It was so fun to do I decided that I would use that same technique again.

The image that I have used comes from A Day For Daisies.

I have used three colours of Distress Oxides onto plastic and sprayed with water.  I then put white cardstock on to the plastic, turned it upside down an smooshed it around with my fingers.  Each one comes out so different.  I matted it onto gold before attaching to the card.  I added some pink ribbon across the card under the image.  The image has been coloured with copic markers and Wink Of Stella.  I inked around the edge of the image with a gold coloured copic marker.
