Sending A Cheery Hello

I jusr found out that the recipient of my swap card for our little New Zealand swap group has received my card.  I just missed her letting me know it had arrived a few days ago and hadn't had a chance to check again since.

This month we were creating a Mini Miura Card following a tutorial by Sam Calcott.

I have used paper from a paper pad by Uniti along with some silver glitter cardstock which I think may also be from Uniti.  The butterflies were from an ephemera pack and I was pleasantly surprised at how well they matched as I think they may have been from a different brand.  The sentiment is from My PaperCrafting World.

May Your Day Be Filled With Possibili-Tea

We have another wet rainy day here after a couple of days where the sun managed to shine a bit.  At times, it is hard to believe that we are heading into summer.  Looks like it will be another day of crafting!

I have used a digital paper from Bearly Mine Designs.  The image is from The Paper Shelter and the sentiment is from My PaperCrafting World.  Colouring is with copic markers - I also added Glossy Accents to the "glass" in the image.  I overlaid some brown ribbon over purple lace to complement the colours in the paper.  I die-cut several gears using two sets of dies from Memory Box and added some pearls to the three larger ones.

I have used a paper from Bearly Mine Designs as the background for the card.  The matting is from a pink themed paper scrap pack that I purchased last week.  The image is from PaperCrafting World.  Colouring is with copic markers.  The button that I have added is from my Mum's button box - probably at least 20 years old!  I also added some tiny light pink pearls to the remaining corners.

You're A Fun Guy

A masculine colour scheme for this one.  When I recently tried to find a card amongst my stash for my brother's birthday I realised I was lacking masculine cards!

This card is for the following challenges:
Love to Create - For the Guys

CRAFT Challenge - Saskia's Sketch

The main background paper plus the strip on the left hand side are both from paper pads by MME.  The olive ribbon is a grosgrain ribbon from American Crafts.  The image is from My PaperCrafting World.  The button is another of the ones I raided from my Mum's button box last year (with her permission of course!).  The birthday sentiment is from a sheet of chipboard die-cuts that I have had for absolute ages with the intention of using but up to now hadn't!

I'm pleased to say I now have a masculine card in my stash but I probably still need to add more!

Licorice Lollipop

I haven't had licorice for a while - must be having withdrawal symptoms!  As soon as I saw this lollipop image I wanted to colour it in licorice!

This card is for the following challenges:

I have used a background paper from a matstack by DCWV called Immortal Love.  The lace is some I found in the bottom of a box - not staying there though!!  The image is from My PaperCrafting World and can be found by following the link above.  The bow is crafted from some grosgrain ribbon by American Crafts using my Bow Maker.  I have also added a couple of small strips of Glitter Tape, also from American Crafts.  I only had that small piece of white left on the roll and didn't want to waste it so cut a matching piece of black!  The colouring of the image is with copic markers 100, C7, C3 and C1.  The die-cut is a Spellbinders Oval die.
