Cricut Explore {Pop Up Box Card} A2 sized with Design Space File

Hi Crafters,

I have been having so much fun with my Cricut Explore!

I have been inspired by all the pop up card in a box fun that has been popping up all over. I used design space and a bunch of rectangles to make a template that would fit in an A2 size envelope. Link to my A2 Pop up Card in a Box file. It also includes the score and cut lines so it really does all the hard work for you!

Here is the outside of the card when it's not popped up. I embossed the outside pieces with my cuttlebug, I even sized and included the outside rectangles with this file.
The bright daffodils are from Walk in my Garden.

Thanks for stopping by!
I'd love to hear if you use the file drop me a comment! Link to my A2 Pop up Card in a Box file

{Walk in My Garden Tulip} Birthday Card

Hi Crafters,
Spring is coming! I promise!!
Here's a fun spring birthday card I made last week. I used the tulips boarder from Walk in my Garden. The grass is from Plantin Schoolbook. I popped up a few of the flowers with pop dots to add a bit of dimension before glueing it to the chevron cardstock. I made this card for one of my paper crafting bffs.
Once I glued the pennants to the cardstock I ran a few rows of stitches through them.

Freezer Paper Totes

Hi Crafters,
Here's a few tote bags I made this week.
The font is from Lyrical Letters and the lady bug is from Walk in my Garden.  She's too young for buttons and googley eyes still so I kept it simple.  The bag is a mini tote bag so it will be perfect for this little girl.  Michael's had them on clearance for .79, it was in the section with a bunch of other summer items.
This is another gift for a bride-to-be.  I used my Jolee's Heat Affix tool to add some bling.  The swirls are from Gypsy Wonderings and the text is from Songbird.

If you are interesting in making your own freezer paper totes/tees check out my picture tutorial here.

More Walk in my Garden

Hi Crafters,
Have you entered for a chance to win 3 stamps sets?  Enter by Friday for a chance to win see the Post Below to post a comment.

This post is a continuation of my post earlier in the weekend. I cut this funky little turtle from Walk in My Garden at 2 inches.  I took a scrap of the cream cardstock and ran it through the cuttlebug twice using one of the skinny boarder folders and added a quick stamp.

Walk in My Garden

Hi Crafters,

I participated in a card challenge today with a friend.  I wasn't in the mood to pull out the gypsy and tinker with things today so I grabbed Walk in My Garden and used the cricut the "old fashion" way. It actually worked out well for what I had in mind.  I got this great stamp set a few weeks ago from Walmart and envisioned stamping the centers of flowers with these cool circular patterned stamps. I cut these on shadow at 2 inches.  The leaves were cut at a variety of sizes varying from 3/4" to 1 1/2".  The tags are actually blades of the grass from Walk in my Garden with holes cut in them using a small hole punch.  I cut those at 2 and 3 inches. I used the cuttlebug to emboss the background.

I added some bling and buttons to the various cards just for a little extra oomph. These have been stamped with Operation Write Home and tucked into their envelopes for shipping.

I have a few videos uploading one with details for my giveaway this week!  Keep checking back!

Wedding Book Part 2

Hi crafters,
I finished my friend's wedding gift this weekend!  I did a total of 20 layouts in one week.  I am so happy with the way it came out and I hope she and her husband love it.

The Husband and Wife are from Storybook using the fancy font for the first letters and the regular Storybook font for the other letters.  Happily Ever After also came from Storybook.  The scalloped circle and squares are from Mini Monograms and embossed with the cuttlebug.  The word Love is from Sweethearts.  The sand dollar is from Stretch Your Imagination.

The letters for CAKE are from A Child's Year.  The cake is from Sweethearts.  The glasses are from Stretch Your Imagination.  Cheers is in the Gypsy font.

Celebrate is cut from Gypsy Wonderings. Friends is from A Walk in my Garden.

This is another favorite!  This brings the Bride's and Groom's alma-matters together.  Longwood is done with Plantin Schoolbook and VMI is done with Lyrical Letters.

This is the last page.  I used the cricut markers to write on the shape and instead of cutting out the letters I just cut around the shape.

Spring and Summer Cards

Hi Crafters
I was able to have a scrap day with my friend from Crafting with my Girls on Friday.  I made a bunch of cards.  I challenged myself that day to use up some of my MANY scraps.  I was proud of myself and only cut into 1 (count it ONE) sheet of paper for the base of a card.

I also challenged myself to use Walk in My Garden as I had purchased it a few weeks ago on clearance from Michael's for $20.00.
This hydrangea was inspired from my mom.  She has some incredible hydrangea bushes in front of their house.  I was able to find 3 coordinating lavenders to give it the perfect coloring.

Daffodils are my some of my favorite spring flowers.  I found this strip of green polka dot and knew it had to go on this card some where.  I used the boarder feature on Walk in my Garden for this bunch of flowers.
They had a Life's a Beach cartridge exploration challenge over on the cricut message boards.  I made this card for one of my Youth Group girls who will be a counselor at camp this summer.  The darker blue coor'dinations looks great with the tearing method here.

This card came from a pile of scraps that had been rejected from some of my other cards.  I saw them sitting together and was inspired by the color combination.  I used several cuttlebug folders and some core'dinations paper here.  I found this stamp and thought it tied everything together nicely.

It is wedding season!  One of my friends from college is getting married next weekend. I think this cuttlebug folder is very pretty and wedding like.  This card is perfect for this couple.  I'm looking forward to seeing them!!

It's time for me to go spend some time with my dad for Father's Day.  I hope you all have a great weekend and get to spend some time with the special dads in your life!
