Wreathe Fun

Hi Everyone!

It has been a crazy couple weeks since my last post. All work wise of course. Many late nights and weekends at the office. I was starting to feel like I was getting in the same rut as every year. I make big crafty goals at the start of the year and then just leave them hanging. I wasn't going to let that happen this year.

So last year I came upon a few Facebook groups that were all about making wreathes. I've never made a wreathe or even thought about making one before. After seeing the creations in those groups, I wanted to give them a try. I decided that my first one would be for Valentines Day. I watched a few videos and finally dove into it this evening.

I still have much to learn. What I love is how much creative freedom you have to really be unique with your project. The only downside is now I have a reason to start collecting ribbons. As if I need to collect anything else. ;)

I hope you all have a lovely week. This Friday I'll be leaving on a cruise to the Bahamas for the weekend. Follow me on Instagram to see my pics. We will be enjoying a day at the beach in CocoCay and another day in Atlantis Paradise Island.

Talk to you all soon
Jen

Stitching from Stash 2018

Hello Friends:

Happy Sunday! I hope your weekend was fantastic. Today was a gorgeous day in Miami.

My stitching bug has returned. I joined a group on Facebook called Stitch from Stash 2018. Everyone is challenged to stitch from their stash. You can not buy anything new unless it is threads or fabric for a chart from your stash. Seeing everyone's projects is inspiring. Many are stitching UFOs they haven't touched in years. I think last year I picked up one stitching project briefly. I was more consumed by crochet and knitting last year. My yarn stash is pretty evident of that. I love going through my stitching stash especially and remembering what I have.

I decided to start with finishing this Lizzie Kate Christmas design. It is so close to being done!

I should have it finished pretty quickly.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a fabulous and warm week. We are having Florida Winter this week. Lows in the 50s. My favorite weather!

See ya,
Jen
