This challenge on Card Mania is Tag. I made a tag that I am going to laminate and give to a student as a book mark
These images are a set from Color ink. I colored them with copics and added some Antique Linen distressing ink to make it a little messy as kids are.
Sponsor of Card Mania challenge is the lovely ColorInk, who generously offer a 7,5 EUR gift voucher for buys from their shop to one lucky winner!

This saying comes with the image above. I added a little color with my Copics and distressing ink.

Learning is fun

This card came out so cute. Perfect for a coworker that has been helping me adjust to my new school.

This image is Learning is Fun by The Paper Shelter. I colored her with Copics. I embossed the red paper behind her with a notebook embossing folder. I used a notebook looking punch on the side of the image to add even more school elements. I inked around the image with some green ink.
The inside sentiments are from a Jaded Blossom stamp set. The paper is some old DCWV paper that I have some scraps left of.This ribbon went perfect with it.

TSB Back to School

This week on The Stamping Boutique the challenge is Back to School.

As my followers are aware I am sure, I am a teacher so having cute school images is key for me. I started a new job this year so I need lots of cards to thank all the helpful people at my school.
Audrey is still one of my favorites. This is Audrey Playing Hopscotch. I added some color to her with my Copics. I keep my themed paper together in a plastic pocket folder so I don't always remember the brand of the paper. I believe this is DCWV. I have scraps of these pages that I have been using for years now.
The inside of the card I used a Jaded Blossom's stamp. I like to added a little DP inside my card to give it that something extra.

Head on over to The Stamping Boutique and join in the fun.

Tiddly Ink School Girl

My 3rd entry! Ya I tend to go overboard but when I get on a roll it is hard to quit. I really wanted to express my love for Tiddly Ink stamps!
Seeing as how I am a 3rd grade teacher I just couldn't pass up SchoolGirl. I was amazed that is was only $1. I love school images because I am constantly making cards and gifts for coworkers. This card is going to go to a fellow teacher. I like to give cards to teachers when they are feeling down so I left this one blank inside until I figure out who and why I am giving it out.
I colored her with Copics and added some red ink around the edges. I used some pop up dots to make her stand out against the busy background.
I used scraps of paper and added multiple layers. I used a couple school related brads to give the card a little something extra.

I love to share my projects with as many people as possible so I am entering into these challenges...

Teacher Tumbler

I made this tumbler a while back but havent had the chance to post it yet. The apple is a Silhouette Studio image I purchased long ago.
I cut the glitter green vinyl from Joann's with my Cameo. I was not a fan of this vinyl and had a terrible time transferring it. Overall it came out ok for my first try.

SSS229 School Time Card

I was a little stumped at first when I looked at this sketch from The Sweet Stop. After a little thought I came up with this bright and cheery card.
I used some scraps of school paper I believe is DCWV. The cute little poem is a Jaded Blossom stamp. I added some faux stitches on the red card stick. I added a couple apple brads. The star is Heidi Swapp that I sprayed with yellow spray also Heidi Swapp. I used a border punch that looks like a notebook edge.

I used a Meljen's Designs digi stamp that I colored with Copics. I added Glossy Accents to the worm that makes him shiny.
Come and play along with us over at The Sweet Stop!

Modge Podge Blog Hop

What could be more fun than Mod Podge?
Having crafty friends make stuff and show it off! We all hope you find a little inspiration along the way today and pull out your hidden (or forgotten) stash of Mod Podge and make something beautiful even if it is a lil messy to get through the process!

Our hostess today is Lissa Marie at www.somanycrafts.com
If you have arrived from Pam then you are in the right place! If not please go check out Lissa Marie's blog so you don't miss a thing!

I love to use modge podge to alter clipboards. I decided to make a couple of my students mini clip boards. I use modge podge all over the clipboard and attach the paper then modge podge over the top of the paper as well. It is such a simple way to spice up a boring clipboard.
I used DCWV The Education Stack and Modge Podge. That's it. Super simple and easy. I am going to decorate the big one with a coworkers name on the back but haven't decided which one I am giving this one to.
Here is a picture of the first clipboard I Modge Podged.

My next project is a large paper clip that I am giving to a coworker as a Xmas gift.
I took a large clip and inked the sides with blue and modge podged paper on the front and back. I inked the edges and let them dry then Modge Podged over the paper.
Your next stop is Zannie Berry

Student birthday gifts

So this year I have decide to make my students all a little gift bag for their birthday.
I had to catch up with the summer birthdays and the September birthdays so here are the ones I have made so far.
I am using Bugaboo images that I colored in Photoshop since I have to make 25 of these. I added stickles to some of the balloons.
I used Jaded Blossom kisses stamps to decorate the candies. I think it adds so much more to decorate the candies and it doesnt take very long to do.
Patterned paper works well with the kisses stamps too.
I used three different Bugaboo stick figure images on these. This was my first one that I hand colored then realized that would take why too much time for 25 of these.
So far my kiddos are loving these and of course it has candy do that is all the better.
