Inspired Stamps Easel Card

I made an easel card this week with some cute Inspired Stamps. I used the Butterflies and Blooms set for the butterfly and the another butterfly set for the scripture.
I quilled a flower and added a few gems.
Two different twines used to enter into the two ribbons challenge at Clear It Out
I love how this came out. The other DT members made beautiful cards too. Check them out at http://www.inspiredstamps.blogspot.com/

Inspired Stamps Fun Fold

Welcome to my Inspired Stamps Fun Fold Project. I love easel cards. They are so easy to make and they are beautiful to display. Here is my explanation of how to make one.
Cut  4 1/4" x 8 1/2" piece of cardstock
Cut  4 1/4" square piece of cardstock

 Score the 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" piece of cardstock at 4 1/4" and 6 3/8".
 put tape on the 2 1/8" x 4 1/4" section cardstock

Decorate the 4 1/4" square piece of cardstock and attach it here.

Put some on the bottom that has some depth to stop the panel behind it. I use foam pop up tape under my sentiment and to bell brads. Hopefully that helps you understand this fold a little better. If not then here is the tutorial on Splitcoast stampers with a video.
I colored the snowmen with Copic and matted with with red around them to help them stand out on the busy paper. I love snowmen. They are my favorite Xmas decoration. In fact they are the only holiday decoration throughout my house at Xmas.

Here are the stamps I used. They are from Inspired Stamps and if you click on the picture it will take you to where to purchase them.

Hubby's Easel Bithday Card

Today is my hubby's birthday! Happy birthday to him. I made him this Easel Card to display on his desk at work. I stamped the balloons then colored them with two copic markers. I am still getting the hang of these pens and wasn't completely happy with my coloring so I covered them with Glossy Accents, which makes everything a little better :) He liked his card which is good because he is a wonderful husband and I am so grateful to have him.

I like this picture of him. He looks so happy :)

Easel Card Girl Version

Here is my second Easel Card. I finally got to the girl version of this card. I found this lovely image on ETSY and bought it. I love how this card came out. She is so cute.
I colored her using my prism colors and blended with gamsol. I decorations are pretty easy to figure out. The ovals where cut with Plantin Schoolbook.
I used the printer trick that I explained on my Hawaiian girl card to get her on the pre cut oval.

I bought a new Fiskar stamp set with this great stamp. I hope you all like my card. Thanks for taking time out of your day to look at my blog!

Male fishing card

Here is the last Guest Designer spot from todays post on  http://craftycardgallery.blogspot.com/

I have yet another Splitcoast tutorial for you today. I guess you can say I am obsessed with the tutorials right now. This was my first attempt at this easel card. I am happy with the way it came out and it baffled my husband so that is always a plus :)
I used Simply Charmed for the fish and pole. I cut out the scallop and circle with my nestabilities  then embossed the circle and inked the edges of the circle. The tag is from TBBM and the Happy Birthday is from Birthday cakes.
Here is a closer view of the embossing and the fish.
Unfortunately my cold has gotten the better of my and I was only able to do this one card. I cut the base to make another so it will be on my blog once I feel better. I hope you enjoyed my projects this week and look forward to your comments and visiting my blog. http://craftygirl21.blogspot.com/
