OWH Card Making Day

Welcome to the Operation Write Home World Card Making Day Bloghop. http://operationwritehome.org/bloghop If you happened upon this post the click on the link to see the other wonderful cards.
I made my card using Recollection paper and a super cute The Stamping Boutique image. I colored it with Copics and tried to make it look furry. Not sure it worked the way I hoped but it is still cute. The bear sleeping is my idea of winter. He is hibernating for the winter, lol.
Here is the sketch I used for my card.
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the hop, Operation Write Home is such a wonderful cause.

Get Well Sketch Card

Here is my first post of the day.

The get well and the bandaid stamp are from Stampin Up and the moose is Riley. I colored Riley with Copics and inked the edges. The paper is Recollections Bright and Basic stack.

I followed this sketch. I can't seem to make a card without a sketch lately.
Here is the challenge link for the sketch http://kgiron.blogspot.com/2012/07/sweet-sunday-sketch-challenge-163.html
Here are two other challenges I am entering this card into.

Kich N Bleus Mini Harvest Collection

I added the "seeds" in the middle of the flower with my black copic and added Glossy Accents. On the leaves I added Stickles.
I used photoshop to put the flowers on the background paper. I saw this technique on Meljen's Designs I am not sure why I hadn't thought about it before. I have done it with words but didn't think about running the decorated paper through the printer. Hope you enjoy my card. Thanks!

Get Well w/ Jaden Get Well

The case of this card is a flat square that is 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 in. The I cut a 5x10 in and folded it, then cut half of one side at a 90 degree angle. Adhere this piece. Then I cut a 5 1/2 by 9 1/2 piece of paper and folded it in half. That is the inside card. Hopefully the pictures help you see what I did because my explanation is not so good, its late :)
I colored Jaden from Sew Many Cards with what little Copics I have and the pink with my prism colored pencils. I only have 6 copics so far and I am not great at coloring with them yet. Jaden is sooo cute.
Here is what the inside of the card looks like. I just stamped Get Well Soon on the bottom and left lots of room for the ladies to sign the card.

Closer view of my coloring :)
The front I cute scallops and circles using my Nestibilities and printed the sentiment on my printer. I used my I rock to add the pink metallics on there. Thanks so much for looking. I love all your comments!

365 Cards: Day 140 challenge

Man did I have some issues with this card. Probably because the phone rang this morning and I stumbled out of bed and straight into the craft room. Morning caffeine needs to kick in apparently before I start crafting. Again I made this card with scraps that I have in my well organized scraps :)

I am not into the name brands of, well anything, so I am not the kind of person to post the names of my papers or stamps, etc. Not to mention I bought all my paper a very long time ago and did not keep the cover to the stacks I bought. If you like the papers I use you will most likely find them at Joann's Fabric store in the paper stacks. They go on sell often there for $10 and I have a teacher discount on top of that.
