I was experimenting with my alcohol inks and was not incredibly pleased with the results so I got out my circle punch and cut up the page I made. The circles looked a lot better than the layout did. I used some blue ink to distress the edges. It was a little to CAS so I added a strip of embossed paper and the blue Heidi Swapp heart. I also used alcohol ink on the heart. I added a Pink by Design sentiment that I love to use on cards I am sending into Operation Write Home.

CWWC Challenge 10
The challenge is to use SOMETHING NOT INTENDED FOR CRAFTING
this can be wallpaper, bubble wrap, foil, paperclips, even ribbon and buttons...
I used bubble wrap that I colored with alcohol ink. I love the way it turned out. I put alcohol ink on the Ranger Rick dabber and inked the edges with it. I really liked how that came out too. Not to mention this adorable image that went perfect with this sentiment.
Image is from Spesch Designer Stamps.
Sentiment is from Pink By Design's Baby Love set
Paper is The Paper Studio Wedding Pack
At first when I thought about using the bubble wrap I thought it would be weird but I like it so much I might just do it again. Check out the challenge at Crafting When We Can

Patties Creations Swans

Inspired Stamps Xmas Tag
If you came here from
Deneen then you are in the right place. I hop you are enjoying all these wonderful tags. I know I am. So without farther ado here is my tag.
How cute is this tag? I love how it came out. This is the fanciest tag I have ever made. There are so many details that went into this tag that I broke it up in sections.
I started with decorating a manilla colored large store bought tag with Xmas paper then inked the edges with a maroon ink. I took a white circle sticker (bought at Staples) and punched a hole in the center. Then dabbed alcohol ink on it to make it red. I added that to were the original hole in the tag was. I added a few bells on the tag tied on with twine. This beautiful stamp is from Inspired Stamps. His Little Ones: Holly, Jolly Christmas Girl is her name you can find her here http://www.inspiredstamps.com/servlet/the-99/His-Little-Ones-cln--Christmas/Detail
I colored her with Copics and cut her out.
The center I tied a ribbon around the tag and added the bottle cap on top of it. Seebelow how I made the snowman bottle cap. I stamps Joy to the World on white card stock then dotted it was red pepper alcohol ink using the Ranger Rick dabber.
For the flowers-well they started out white then I dropped drops of the alcohol ink (picture below) on the flowers until I liked the color of them. Then I took red stickles and rubbed it around on the flowers. I love how they came out and think I am going to buy me a bunch of white ones and color them myself the color I need.
Now for the bottle cap I bought a pack at Hobby Lobby. I believe it was a 24 pack for $9.99 but I used a 40% off coupon. I bought the clear stickers that were made specially to fit on top of the caps, they are sold right by the caps. I stamped white card stock with the 1 inch snowmen (you can find them here http://www.inspiredstamps.com/servlet/the-33/1%22-snowmen/Detail
I colored the snow woman with Copics and used a 1 inch circle punch to cut her out. I love snowmen (they are my Xmas obsession) so I had to add one on here. Here is a link to where I got the idea for the bottle caps. http://inspiredstamps.blogspot.com/2011/10/12-weeks-of-inspired-christmas_14.html
So there you have it. Now head on over to Jenn's blog and see what she has done with her tag.

Father's Day Cards
The labels are made from Lacy Labels cut at 2 1/2 and 2 3/4. I faux stitched around the edges of most the labels. I added a variety of brads. Male cards are not my favorite, way too boring for me.
The last card I used alcohol inks and used the dabber to ink the edges. I put drops on the dabber and just tapped around the edges then stamped the Happy Fathers Day. I punched several small holes around the card so some of the white would show through.

Cupcake Alcohol Ink Birthday Card
The background on this card I used photo paper and alcohol inks and glimmer mist. I cut the cupcake from Sweat Treats Cricut Cartridge and glitter sprayed it with Glimmer Mist. The rest is pretty simple to see. Thanks for looking!

Smiley Card Cake Cards w/ Alcohol Ink
I cut the cake from the Smiley Card on the Gypsy. I cut the happy birthday from Birthday Cakes.
The background I used Ranger Rick alcohol ink on white photo paper. Then I sprayed Glimmer Mist over the top of it. I used my three favorite colors on these cards. I really need to stop using these colors but I can not help it.
The top card I kept very basic because I really liked the way the background came out.
The bottom card I cut out circles using my punch and over lapped them slightly. The rest you can probably figure out but I love questions and comments so please feel free to contact me.

Mojo Monday Challenge 171
This card was pretty simple to make. Lots of cut out square and rectangles. The only thing unique I did was took a plain white flower and decorated it with alcohol ink then sprayed with glitter and added a button in the center glued to a brad.
It is so weird not to have a million projects I am making as gifts. I have been so busy with Xmas presents that now I am not sure what to do with myself.

365 Cards: Day 122 challenge
Blue cards are my favorite to make since it is my favorite color. I would use blue in every card if I could.
This card I used Alcohol inks to make the background paper and a cute stamp set I picked up on sale at Micheal's. I love making the backgrounds with the alcohol inks. If you haven't tried it yet you really should. Hope you all like the card. Comments are always appreciated! Thanks for looking.
