Here is another fun challenge to join in on. The challenge runs two weeks so plenty of time to join in.
Twisted Tuesday Challenge this week is Heavy Metal!
Heavy = Lots of layers
THE TWIST: Metal = charms, brads, etc
I added a lot of layers with my scraps of paper. I think this is my fifth card with these three sheets of 12x12 paper. I added a metal bottle cap and some metal brads.
This stamp is a Stampin Up sentiment. I inked the edge with a green ink and added a Tim Holtz metal accent in the corner. I love that I am adding to my male birthday card collection.

TT Clothes Make the Man

Another great challenge to join on on over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges.
In honor of Father's Day, make a masculine creation.
THE TWIST ~ We want to see clothes on your creation. This can be in the image you use, on the papers you use, if you're doing a scrap page on the people in the pictures, etc.
One of my favorite stamp companies is sponsoring this challenge. Bugaboo has so many great stamps to chose from.
Ok so I used a Silhouette store file to cut out this fun card on my new Silhouette. I embossed the tie though it is difficult to see. Oh the joy of taking pictures at night. I thought this plaid paper was perfect and I distressed the edges of the collar. The stamp I added in the corner is Stampin Up.

So I am sure many of you are making a Father's Day card so head on over to Twisted Tuesday and link up for a chance at some Bugaboo images! Twisted Tuesday Challenges

TT School's Out For Summer

Twisted Tuesday Challenge~We want to see children on your project.
THE TWIST ~ Use the color yellow somewhere on your project to represent the warm summer sun.

I made this card using a Bugaboo image, so cute, colored with Copics. I inked the edges of the image with red ink. This cute paper is DCWV. The sentiment is from Stampin Up. I used my Irock to add the metal embellishments.

Make sure to head over to Twisted Tuesday Challenges and link up all those great projects you are all making for the end of the school year.

TT Girly Friendship Cards Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us at Twisted Tuesdays! We are so excited about our blog hop! There are prizes to be won! A beautiful kit complete with flowers and a $5 gift certificate (see Twisted Tuesdays blog for more details).
I am exciting to be joining the Twisted Tuesday design team. I am finally feeling crafty again. I am loving the challenges they have. If you haven't join in you should check them out. If you are coming from Hillary you are in the right place.
Twisted Tuesday ChallengeMake your project girly.
§    THE TWIST ~ Make your project about friends. It can be a scrap page with friends in the pics, a sentiment about friends on your card, an image with 2 people (or person with an animal/pet), etc. As long as there is a friend theme.
This challenge gave me the perfect opportunity to use this Pink by Design sentiment. I love the saying but haven't found a use for it yet. I like to donate cards to OWH so this was the perfect inspiration to make some cards for the soldiers to send to their friends.
I used my Spellbinders to cut out the Pink by Design sentiment. Cute paper,  a few pearls/brads to dress the cards up, added some ribbon and there you have it.
I started with these two cards but they were a little plain for my first post on the Twisted Tuesday design team. They are pretty but very simple so I made the other two above.
Make sure you check out Twisted Tuesday Challenges. They have some great ones to play along with.
Next up on the hop is Majo. Make sure to leave a comment on all the blogs for a chance at some great prizes. Then, go back to Twisted Tuesdays and let us know how you liked the hop and that you've commented at all 14 blogs.

July Chopped Challenge

Welcome to Jennifer at Craft Card Gallery July challenge. We have been doing these for the past few months.

This is my favorite chopped card I have made so far and it was the hardest contents. Jennifer at Crafty Card Gallery really gave us some hard contents this time. See them below.
Here is the close up of all the materials. I actually took the zig zags cut outs off and used the big background piece over the whole card. The clear sheet I cut a small piece that had the binding piece and stamped it and put it in the envelope. You can clearly see the blue foil, eyes and envelope.
What was in the envelope?
blue foil, zig zags, arrow paper clips, google eyes, 1/2 sheet transparency and a mini envelope.

I used Recollections paper stack Monsters and Robots for the background blue paper and the robots orange. I cut the robot with my Cricut using the Robotz cartridge. The robot is on page 30 and cut at 3 1/2. I used Stampin Ups scallop punch and happy birthday stamp.

The rules this time?
Not too many - you
don't have to use all of anything but you have to use some of everything. You can make 2 cards if you want.
Now head on over to http://craftycardgallery.blogspot.com/2012/07/challenge-july.html and vote for my card :) or your favorite card which hopefully is mine. Thanks for stopping by!!

Waste Not Challenge for Paper Cupcakes

Here is my second post as guest designer for with There's Magic in the Air with Paper Cupcakes.

 Challenge:  Waste Not
Waste not is the name of the game. Make a card or project with something you have recycled. It can be a coke tab, recycled game piece, tag, etc..
Can you see what I recycled?
Hey look a nail file! I pulled apart this nail file apart since it is way to smooth to actually file why not recycle it on a card.
Also the green cut out behind the sentiment. I used a paint small paper from Home Depot.

The image is from Paper cupcakes named Birthday Hat Cupcake you can find it here
I love it, its just so fun. I colored it with Copics, added Glossy Accents to the eyes and inked around the edge of the circle. The sentiment is from Stampin Up and I inked around the edge of that one too.
Head on over to There's magic in the Air to join in on this fun challenge.

Sunsational Red, yellow, Orange Cards

I told you I was making more sun cards :) Here are two more. I have 4 more done and 3 more to go. These I decided to make the colors of the challenge below. The Peachy Keen faces are a must if you ask me. I like my Cricut cut outs but I LOVE them with Peachy Keen faces. I think you could put these cute faces on anything and it would be adorable.
I cute the suns from Create a Critter. The sentiment is from K. Andrew Designs Splash-tastic Summer set. The paper is from DCWV. I used my Spellbinders to cut out the shape with the sentiment. I added Glossy Accents on the eyes. The top card on the whole eye. I decided I didn't like that so the bottom eye is just on the black part.
