Teacher Christmas gift

I can't believe I forgot to post this before Christmas. I made a set of notecards (four of each image) for A's teachers at his Pre-school and Daycare (a total of four teachers). What I forgot to take a picture of is the holder I made to go with these little cards. Such a quick and easy gift to create and perfect for just a little note to someone. The images are from PTI's Flutterby Friend and I used a ruler and black fine point pen for the border. The images were colored in with my copics of course, lol.

I'm thinking these may just become the thing I do for teacher gifts as they can be used by men and women and for any season/reason.

I'll be back tomorrow on the going-ons at my house since Christmas.

Sassy Preview: Shoes

These are the notecards I created for the Sassy Studio Design Tutorial Sunday. Be sure you check out the SSD blog for the directions. I used three of the new images that will be released on December 15th. Be sure you join us for a blog hop on the 15th. What girl doesn't love shoes, right? I really do love making these notecards as they make the perfect quick gifts.

Sorry for the bad pictures, don't know what happened.

Simple Notecards

As I was reading a blog I keep up with (Simplicity), I discovered this great tutorial for making notecards quick and simple. I decided to try it myself and am really pleased with how it turned out. I'm hoping to get the ok to share with ya'll a tutorial on how I did this with the computer since the images are some wonderful digi stamp's from Sassy Studio Designs. I used the party dress, the witch's hat from the Halloween accessories, and the glass slipper and pumpkin from the Fairy Tale accessories. I think these would be perfect for quick gift sets, invitations, or even a nice way to write out receipes.
