Easter Release

Evening all!

Has the weekend started for you all yet? Mine certainly has, although I will probably spend in on the couch feeling all sorry for myself because I caught the flu! Great......actually this WAS perfect timing for once, as I just finished my scrapbook of our holiday to New York last year (yay!) and this lovely card:

The reason I am showing you this card today, is because the image I used is part of the Treasured Times New Release for Easter, there's a whole bunch of cute new images to choose from; some specifically for Easter, others less so. Some Fun News

Hi all,

I have some great news to share with you (although you might have seen the new badge in de side bar): I've been picked as one of the new DT members for Treasured Times! Woohoo, so excited to get started :) Even though I didn't manage to play along this time, I still wanted to let you know Treasured Times is having a Rubber Stamps Release Party!

It's All About Christmas

A Ditzy Sketch

Hello again crafty friends!

Today is also the start of a new Delightful Challenge, which is a "Sketch" this time! If you've been following my blog, you know how I feel about sketches, they're not my favourite challenge type. But I do think I managed to adhere to the challenge, well almost at least. I didn't include a bow, I don't know why but I can't seem bows to work on my projects. They make everything bulky, they fall off, there's glue everywhere......they just don't do it for me. So I replaced it with some chipboard. Oh, and i just realised I didn't mat the sentiment like in the sketch either, so I wasn't as good as I thought I was ;)

I also had the wonderful idea to turn the sketch into a gatefold, forgetting that if I would cut away the bottom bit of the sideflaps the card wouldn't be able to stand! So I made a little easel style stand from a cutoff piece of Kraft and stuck that on the back. Problem solved :)

Spicy New Release @ PCD

Happy Monday everyone!

Well, as happy as a Monday can be I suppose ;) I wanted to share a new release from Platypus Creek Digitals with you this morning, featuring a lovely gingerbread man. You can have a look at the whole new release at the PCD challenge blog. There's several "accessories", such as a sentiment and a baking sheet. There's also a cutting file for those of you with cutting machines, that was released a little earlier last month. This is my make with the digis:

I've been raiding the scrap box again as you can see, though the mountain never seems to change in size very much. I guess that's what happens when you save every last piece of scrap, however small :) For this card, these little snippets actually came in really handy, as they were used for a quilting-inspired panel.
