Holiday Card Workshop Day 6

UPDATED!  Day 6 of the Online Card Classes Holiday Card Workshop is all about inking techniques.

For the dot background I used a Stampin'Up! stamp and wet embossed with opaque white embossing powder.  I cut a mask from heavy acetate using my Tim Holtz Sizzix Alterations Snow Flurries.  Then I applied Tim Holtz Peacock Feathers, Seedless Preserves and Salty Ocean inks to the cards.  I applied a coat of Perfect Pearl over the card.  The delicate snowflakes are a Memory Box Die and the larger punched snowflake is from Creative Memories.  Sentiment and label punches are from Stampin'Up!

The second card for the day was a faux stained glass.  I had the perfect stamp for this that I have had for many, many years.

I only cut the top half of my Creative Memories Shimmer White Paper with the Stampin'Up! Apothecary Arts Framelits.  This gave it a steeple look.  I embossed the Shimmer Paper with the Cuttlebug Paper Lace Damask folder.  The stamp was colored in with Tim Holtz Distressed Markers and then painted with Perfect Pearls Gold.

Holiday Card Workshop Day 5

Getting closer to catching up with the Online Card Classes Holiday Card Workshop.  This card uses wet embossing, die cuts and Perfect Pearls.

I used the Stampin'Up! Layered Labels "Heartfelt" stamp.  I overlayed it with a sentiment from The Paper Studio.  Ink is Ranger Archival ink in Vermillion and Elmerald Green.  The embossing powder is Ranger Super Fine Detail Clear Embossing Powder.  DSP is Noel available from Creative Memories as a Digital Kit.

Tim Holtz Chreative Chemistry 101 Day 9

Almost done with class!  Today was about Perfect Pearls.  Tag 1 was supposed to be a re-inker and Perfect Pearl Powder mix to mist.  I didn't have the re-inkers but I did have some Perfect Pearls Mist.  so I used them to mist my TAG 1.  Tag 2 you stamped and then used the Perfect Pearls Powder over the stamped image.  Tag 3 was a splatter distress using Distressed Ink and Perfect Pearls Powder.  The photo does not do justice to the shimmer that the Perfect Pearls give to the Tags.  Here are my tags.
Back soon with one more tag for Day 10.
