Recycled Christmas Angels

This is my mantle

this year.

Look closely at

the lowest mantle shelf.

There you'll see

my recycled

Christmas Angels.

I made these from recycling
and cutting up

last year's Christmas cards.

Then adding clipart wings

and cutting out the faces

from photos that I took

on my phone and

then ran through the printer.

Then I glued them to a

piece of 2X4 that I painted

white  . . . so they

would stand up.

These are the ladies

from my Bible study.

They are not actual angels

but they are prayer warriors

and true believers

in Jesus Christ our Lord.

I thought it would be fun

to have them lined up

on my mantle this Christmas.

There are two angels

without faces because

they missed the last two

Bible studies when I was

taking photos and there are two

more angels to make

because two have been hospitalized

for surgeries and still recovering.

Hopefully next Christmas

I'll have them all there.

I wanted to show this because

it was a fun craft

and something you could easily make.

🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Wouldn't it be wonderful

to have a row of grandchildren

angels or the children

in your Sunday school class.

That's my post for today.

I hope it inspired at least one of you.

Merry Christmas

&

 God bless you all!

Pot Holders & Dish Towels

My potholders were getting worn

and stained so it seemed like a great

time to make some new ones.

After making them, I decided

to use the same patterns

and embroider two new

dish towels to match.

I haven't used the embroidery device

on my sewing machine in a very long time.

These patterns were in the memory

of the machine and came with it,

but I have many patterns

that I have purchased, that I am

now having trouble downloading

into my machine.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

If anyone has an idea

I would greatly appreciate

your input.

I'm wondering if I forgot

how to do it,

or if because of technology

it's all obsolete.

Anyway; I did have fun

taking a break from making gifts

to making something for myself.

🧵🪡🧵🪡🧵

I do enjoy pretty things

in the kitchen:)

Well that's my latest post,

Thanks for stopping by ☺️

Hoping You Had A Wonderful Thanksgiving

I haven't posted in quite a while.

So I'm using my phone to try to get one out.

This little mouse pin cushion

is one I made somewhere

between 15 and 20 years ago.

I wish I could find the pattern again.

I'd like to make a few more
as gifts for my sewing friends.

When I'm sewing I let the scraps

fall on the floor

and

don't clean up until

the end of the day or

the project is finished.

It can get quite messy 🥴

I've been working on coasters

and mug rugs

that go along with my Christmas

decorations in the living room.

And I've been making bowl cozies

as Christmas gifts.

🪡🧵25 in all 🧵🪡

I've also started a new quilt
for a winter project.

🧵🪡🧵🪡🧵

Well, that's how I've been
spending my spare time.

Thanksgiving was a lovely time
spent with family and friends.
I have so much to be grateful for.
The Lord has blessed me beyond belief.

When I look back on my life
I am amazed at how I started
and how the Lord has change
my life.

I am awe stuck that the God
that created the universe
loves me so much.
Not only did He send His only Son
to save me . . .
He is with me always and longs
to be a part of my everyday life.

He loves us all that much.

God Bless You All!
