You can purchase Pretty & Polished on Etsy or Pretty & Polished on MyShopify. You can also find out more information, upcoming collection information, along with swatches on Pretty & Polished - Facebook, on Twitter @prettynpolish, and at http://www.prettynpolish.com/. I highly recommend taking a look around

We'll start with Old Green River~!! I am in love with this one!!

Chels described this as:  This St. Patrick's Day polish is very unique! It is a green polish but with a blue undertone.  "Old Green River" was inspired by the dyeing of the Chicago River which started in 1962!

This is ONE coat.  No top coat in these first few pictures.  Can you say GORGEOUS!?  I mean talk about a quick mani.  It almost has a matte look to it, and the shimmer is just stunning!

Then I added a coat of Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails.  This almost enhanced the glow, making it seem deeper.  Either way, I love this polish.  It applies perfectly and with this coverage, I know I'll be grabbing this often.

It has a perfect gold shimmer!

Close up!

I then added one coat of Kiss Me, I'm Irish! over top and for the accent finger, one coat of Irish Brawn, finishing with Seche Vite top coat (matte glitter is a little more rough, but oh so pretty!).  These three are the St. Patrick's themed polishes and I love the look of them together!

Chels described Kiss Me, I'm Irish! - This polish is an easy going full coverage glitter. You can use 2-3 layers to get full coverage or use one over another color to pump up your St. Patty's Manicure!
You will find matte micro glitters in greens and white in a clear base.

Love this mani!! Especially how the Old Green River peeks through both of the other polishes!

Here is the bottle of Kiss Me, I'm Irish!  This applied great with one coat to get this coverage.

Irish Brawn was a little harder to layer because I didn't want too much on the nail, but enough to cover without streaking (I find that with any black jelly). It leveled out nicely and I love how it turned out.

Here is Irish Brawn by itself with 2 coats and Seche Vite top coat.

Chels described Irish Brawn:  This polish was made to signify the amazing strength of the Irish Immigrants here in America.
This is a nice black jelly packed with three different green glitters including the always awesome round glitters!

MORE circle glitter!! yay!!  I love the mix of sizes in this too.

Close up!  Sorry it is kind of blurry!

Next we have Cool Breeze!

Chels described Cool Breeze: A teal/green holographic shade with specs of neon blue shimmer.

The blue was hard to capture, but so pretty in person!  The first couple of pictures are my light box and are very color accurate.  I started taking the next few in my bedroom/kitchen to get some holo, so I had to adjust the color because it was off.  Sorry about that!

Here is some of the holo!! So beautiful!

Close up!  Blurred to show holo!

And a light box close up!  I can sort of see the blue towards the end of the nail!

In case you missed it above, you can purchase Pretty & Polished on Etsy or Pretty & Polished on MyShopify. You can also find out more information, upcoming collection information, along with swatches on Pretty & Polished - Facebook, on Twitter @prettynpolish, and at http://www.prettynpolish.com/.

Smarty Lacquer - Always and Forever over Zoya - Kristen

Hi Everyone!! Just thought I'd have a bonus post for today to show off Smarty Lacquer by Zoe!!  This is the gorgeous Always and Forever.  I love the blue, yellow, and pink together!  And the base is slightly tinted pink, so it gives my blue base of Zoya Kristen, a different look!

I started with 2 coats of Zoya Kristen.  You can see my previous swatch of it - HERE!

You can purchase from Zoya - HERE.  I talk about this a lot, but it is a Share the Love link, which is a way for me to earn points through them! So cool for me, but you guys can get something too! See what Zoya wrote: Remember EVERYONE WINS with "Share the Love": When someone clicks on your personal link and sets up an online account, a $5 coupon a coupon for a FREE Bottle of Zoya Nail Polish will automatically be placed in their account and can be used immediately on their current order. TIP: If you use this coupon and add 2 more polishes to your order, you get free shipping too! The coupon will appear in the "My Coupons/ Promos" section of their "My Account" Page.
Pretty great deal! And actually I got a bottle of their Qtica Growth Stimulator Click Here! (another link!) for the price of shipping (a $20 value!) through all their gifts of Share the Love points - didn't even do anything! Zoya had other promotions over the Holiday season, so they should be bringing back more prizes for Share the Love points soon! YAY! I have some more points that I can't wait to use. :-D

I then added 1 coat of Always and Forever and topped with Wicked Fast top coat by Cult Nails.

You can find Smarty Lacquer on Etsy.  The full size Always and Forever is $8 and the mini is $4.  Zoe, the owner, is on Instagram as @only_at_Shelbys and her blog, www.whenlifegivesyoupolish.blogspot.com.  She also has a new Facebook page, but I didn't see a lot of posts yet :-)

You can see the bottle has a more blue tone, but the nails look almost purplish because of the pink over the blue!

Close up!!

I will be giving one of these away, so make sure you enter to win at my Blogiversary Giveaway!

Have a great rest of the day!!

Much Love,
Crystal

Naild'It - Violet B Wild

Hello Loves!!!  It's days like these that I am extremely thankful that I'm not showing you a YouTube video!  I am still sick, and I'm sure my voice would scare you :-) haha I want to thank you all for the well wishes though!!! Mr. CC said he was better yesterday, so I can only hope this is a quick thang! If you follow me on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, you saw me with my stack of get better aids of cough drops, medicine, and herbal tea!  I almost never need that stuff, so it's funny to me when I get sick I'm just like "GIVE IT ALL TO ME! NOW!" haha In the store, I'm like "I'll take this, and that, and oh! This will get me better for sure!"  Anyway, thank you for thinking of me!  I have lots to post, but I just need time to sit down and edit it all!  OH! and my Blogiversary is coming up at the end of the month, so I have a few ideas of what I want to do for that...including a giveaway, of course ;-)  You all know I love ya!
Today I have a gorgeous polish by Naild'It that I wanted ever so badly when I saw it on Etsy!  I actually saw it through another polish listing's pictures.  It was on a nail wheel and I instantly fell in love!! I was lucky enough to receive Violet B Wild from a great friend, Deni!!  So a huge thank you to her for sending this my way for Christmas!!!  Look at that bottle!!

For this mani, I started with 2 coats of OPI Steady As She Rose.  Then I applied 1 coat of Violet B Wild by Naild'It and topped with Seche Vite.  Violet B Wild has a bit of a purple tint to the base, and has the matte glitters in red, blue, white, and purple!

You can shop at a few different places for Naild' It polishes! Naild' It on Etsy, Llarowe, Mei Mei Signatures, and Overall Beauty.  You can also stay up to date with Naild' It on Facebook!!
It's actually on sale at Llarowe for $8 - Violet B Wild!!!   If Overall Beauty is easier for you to purchase, it is available there as well - Violet B Wild.  I don't see it at Mei Mei Signatures, but she has a ton of other gorgeous colors available!!

I love it over the lighter base, but I bet this would be pretty over black!! Or any other shades of purple too!

Close up!!!  Look at those glitters!!  I just love this combo! And you could probably get away as patriotic with the right base (except for the purple, but hey, it's *almost* in the blue family!)
I'm not sure if colds are going around where you are, but stay healthy everyone!! I know almost everyone at my work and a lot of others of friends/family are sick too! So hopefully you are feeling good where you are ;-)
Have a wonderful day!  And hopefully you'll have some fun this weekend!  Isn't it going to be weird not having extra days off next week? haha
Much Love,
Crystal

Nostalgic - Way Harsh

Happy Friday!! I'm going to have another busy weekend with a friend's wedding on Saturday, and Mr. CC is in it!  Thankfully, I am feeling better!  My voice is still somewhat gone, but I can finally breathe again! lol

Today I have Nostalgic Way Harsh to show you!!  I started with a base of Zoya Kristen.  If I could only pick 10 polishes to take to a desert island, this would be one.  I know that it's plain, a cream, and just kind of "boring", but it is so awesomely boring that I crave it!  If you haven't noticed, I use this as a base for a TON of stuff.  It applies perfectly with 2 coats, compliments my skin tone, and is pretty much just the perfect calming, dusty baby blue! This is with Wicked Fast top coat and I actually wore it by itself a couple of days while I was home sick with a cold!

So because I'm so in love with this, I want to share this link with you, https://www.artofbeauty.com/rd/014C6397.  This is a Share the Love link that leads to Zoya Kristen. This link is a way for me to earn points through them! So cool for me, but don't worry, you guys can get something too!

So yesterday I mentioned that you could add the base color over a glitter to help with tipwear.  Another way to spruce up a regular mani is to add GLITTA!  Of course we all know that though, right? ;-)  I love to contrast, so I went with something to help this Nostalgic pop!

Here is 1 coat of Nostalgic Way Harsh over Zoya Kristen, topped with Seche Vite.

Nostalgic Lacquer is sold at http://nostalgicnaillacquer.bigcartel.com/.    It looks like she is out of stock right now, but you can stay up to date by following http://nostalgicnaillacquer.com/Facebook or Blog.  Erin, the owner, sells her polishes for $9.75.

This angle is SO cool in the picture below!! Doesn't it look like the glitter is 3-D!?!?

Drool.  Close ups make everything better!  I love matte glitter too!  Hope you enjoyed today's post!

Have a great weekend!!!

Much Love,
Crystal
