{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 68 ~ Reindeer Blend ~ Jaded Blossom

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing an adorable Christmas card featuring a sweet stamp from our wonderful Sponsor Jaded Blossom! This month's prize is a $25 gift card to Jaded Blossom! So excited!

I inked up the super cute and sweet reindeer mug from the Reindeer Blend clear stamp set. I also stamped the sentiment while I was at it. And then I die cut them both using the coordinating dies from the Reindeer Blend Outline Dies

I set them aside and got to work on my background. I used retired papers from My Favorite Things called Plaid Patterns Merry & Bright 6x6 Paper Pack. I had some scraps and ended up cutting a few more for my background. I just eyeballed the placement for the strips. I tried to keep them about 1/8" apart. I used 6 or 7 different pattern papers and alternated each design. It was fun once I got in the groove. So fun I made another background that I'll be sharing soon.

Once my background was done. I trimmed it down to 4 x 5-1/4" and then I adhered it to a white A2 top fold card base. I then die cut two circles for my focal image. I die cut a piece of Lovely Lady card stock and Stampers Select White card stock from Papertrey Ink using the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from Unity and adhered them to the card. And then I popped up the reindeer mug and sentiment using foam tape.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 66 ~ Bear Hugs ~ Creative Worship Stamps

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a sweet Christmas card featuring an adorable stamp from our wonderful Sponsor Creative Worship Stamps! This month's prize is a $20 gift code to Creative Worship Stamps! Yay!

As I often do, I started with my background. I don't currently have papers from Creative Worship Stamps but I did see some pretty plaid papers on their website that I've added to my wishlist. I did find a pretty snowflake pattern paper in my stash that I thought would work well with the cute bear stamp. I used the Say Cheese Classic Mouse Christmas 6x8 Paper Pad from Simple Stories. I cut it down to 3-3/4 x 5".

I went searching through my card stock to find one that coordinated with the color of these pattern papers. I settled on Mint Macaron from Stampin' Up. I cut my mat to 4 x 5-1/4". I adhered the layers and then adhered them to a white A2 top fold card base. I die cut a piece of the Mint Macaron card stock using the Christmas Ornament & Bulb Tag Die Set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps {now Creative Worship Stamps}. I ran the die cut ornament through my Big Shot using the Silent Snowfall Embossing Folder from Unity {no longer available}. The top of the ornament was die cut from a Silver Foil card stock from Stampin' Up that's been in my stash forever. And I finished it off with a little iridescent organdy bow.

The star of the card is the adorable bear in a snowflake mug from the retired Bear Hugs stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps {now Creative Worship Stamps}. I stamped it and colored it with Copic markers. I fussy cut it leaving a white border around the image. I used a hole punch to start fussy cutting the handle on the mug. I decided to cut that on the line and I colored the edges with a black marker. I popped up the ornament on the card and also popped up the bear to finish off the card.

Release Day Blog Hop ~ Happy Shopping ~ The Greeting Farm

The November 2025 New Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new stamp sets. Our first stamp set called HIP HOP HOORAY features a teen Anya and Ian who are ready to get this party started with the perfect dance vibe. Next, we have HAPPY SHOPPING featuring three adorable animals ready for a day out on the town visiting their local coffee shop and bakery. Lastly, we introduced SNUGGLE ANYA featuring a sweet girl bundled up and ready to spread warmth and hugs all around to her four furry friends.

I wanted to create a simple but fun slimline card with three cute scenes using all of the critters and the fun buildings from the Happy Shopping stamp set. This slimline was the perfect size!

I stamped all the images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them up with Copic markers and then I fussy cut the critters on the line and colored the edges with a black marker to make the fussy cutting nice and neat.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

I stamped the buildings directly on my 3-1/4 x 2-5/8" panels of white card stock. The critters are all popped up on the card with foam tape. I stamped the sentiments, fussy cut them leaving a white border, and then popped them up on the card too.

Happy Shopping ~ Preview Day 2 ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 2 of previews at The Greeting Farm for the amazing November release. HAPPY SHOPPING is up next and the critters in this stamp set are TOO cute!! I made a fun mini slimline card for today.

I inked up my background first on a die cut piece of white card stock for a cute mini slimline card. I wanted to draw the eye to the coffee shop because, well... coffee!! LOL! I do love my coffee!! Anywho, I stamped the coffee shop first and then I used the second generation stamping technique for the other buildings. Second generation stamping is when you stamp your image once on a scrap of paper, or in my case, a post-it note and then you stamp your image on your intended panel. I did this so the other buildings would be lighter and in the background. I also masked the edges of my stamping using a post-it note so that the stamped images stayed within the stitches on the die cut.

I stamped the coffee kitty and the sentiment on scraps of white card stock and fussy cut them on the line. And then I colored the edges of my fussy cutting with a black marker to make them look neater.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Kitty: N0, N2, N3, N4, R00, R20
Bow Tie: E21, E23, E25
Shorts: BG000, BG01, BG13
Cup: E21, E23, C0, C1
Coffee Shop: BG000, BG01, BG13, E21, E23, E25
Coffee Shop Windows: Y11
Coffee Shop Door / Window Cup: YR20, YR02, YR15, R22
Gray Buildings: C0, C2
Ground: N2, N4
Sky: B000, B00

I adhered the mini slimline panel to a piece of Hawaiian Shores card stock from Papertrey Ink measuring 6-1/2 x 3-1/2" and then adhered it to a white mini slimline card base measuring 6-1/2 x 7"; scored at 3-1/2". I popped up the kitty and the sentiment using foam tape to finish off this card.

I had fun making this one! Be sure to stop by the TGF blog to see all the makes from the design team. The release goes live in the store on the 15th at 12am EST.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

These cuties are from the Christmas Joy Mugs Digi Stamp. I combined and resized them on a Word Document and then I printed them off on white card stock.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

{BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2025 Linky Party ~ Snowman to Go ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 2 of the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2025 Linky Party!! I'm excited to share another holiday card that I've made to add to my Christmas stash! This time I played with a fun stamp from our fabulous Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. I love this cute cup and boy could I use another cup of coffee this morning! LOL!

This adorable cup is called Snowman to Go and right now it's on sale for only $6!! Say what?! That's a steal! If I didn't already have it in my stash, I'd be buying it. LOL! Anywho, I stamped the cute cup and colored it up with Copic markers. I die cut the cup using a die from the Postage Stamp Nesting Dies from Unity.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Snowman: C0, C1, C3, YR20, YR15
Scarf / Heart: RV10, RV02
Snow: C0, C1, C3
Snowy Background: BG000, BG10
Snowman Cup: BG000, BG10, E30, E50, C0, C1
Cup Lid: E30, E50
Outline / Steam: C0, C1

Before I started coloring I had chosen the Sugarplum Frost 6x6 Pattern Paper Pad, also from Unity. I just adore the coloring in this paper pad! I die cut my background panel using the largest die from the Postage Stamp Nesting Dies. I adhered it to a Kraft A2 top fold card base. I tore a piece of the blue pattern paper and adhered it across the card base. I die cut the plaid paper using a die from the Scallops & Banners {nesting dies}. I also die cut the sentiment using the same die, tore it and adhered the sentiment over the plaid paper.

Inspiration for my card came from one of our past sketches... BYSHC Sketch 10. I love using the past sketches and changing them up a bit to fit my card is always fun too.

All of my background paper layers are adhered using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web. I used iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white), also from Therm O Web, to pop up the sentiment on the card. And then I finished it off with a little confetti called Glossy White Card Bling from Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs.

If you haven't already, stop by the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2025 Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! I have so many wonderful ideas for future cards! So inspiring! I hope you have an ink-redible day!

Pumpkin Spice Season ~ Miss Anya Coffee Break ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
I am so ready for Fall and all the pretty colors that come with it!! The temperatures are teasing of the upcoming cooler days and it can't come quick enough for me. In my continual effort of inking up stamps that haven't seen ink yet, I inked up one of the adorable Miss Anya's from Miss Anya Coffee Break.

I found this adorable stamp in my stash and she just needed to see some ink! Unfortunately, I can't seem to find Miss Anya Coffee Break on the website. But if you'd like to add her to your collection, you can check out thFarmers Market and submit a request via email... maybe she'll be available for the next Farmers Market. Fingers crossed!

I inked up the adorable Miss Anya with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her up with Copic markers. I fussy cut her on the line and then I used a Memento Tuxedo Black marker to color the edges of my fussy cutting. This makes the fussy cutting look nice and neat. I also stamped the stack of cups and later decided to add a pumpkin because I wanted to use a sentiment that was more fitting for Fall. I chose the super sweet Pumpkin Spice Season stamp set for the pumpkin and the sentiment. Unfortunately, this cute set is also not available right now. {Here's the >>> Farmers Market <<< link again just in case you want to submit a request for this one!} I colored up the pumpkin and fussy cut it and then I adhered Miss Anya to the pumpkin and added foam tape to the back of both of them. I also popped up the stack of cups and the sentiment using foam tape.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R00, R20
Hair: N0, N2, N4
Bow: YR20, YR15
Coat: C0, C2, YR20, YR15
Dress: YR20, YR15, YR68, R14, E21, E23
Boots: E21, E23
Cups: C0, C2, BG000, BG01, BG72, E000, E00
Pumpkin: YR20, YR15, YR68, E21, E23

I paired up Miss Anya Coffee Break with some fun plaid papers from my stash. Aren't they just wonderful for a Fall card?! Adding the mat in between my plaids separates them enough that they look nicely together. I cut my bottom layer to 4 x 5-1/4" and the top plaid layer measures 2-3/4 x 4-1/4". The white mat measures 3 x 4-1/2" and the brown strip across the card measures 4-1/4 x 1-1/4". All my layers are adhered to a dark brown A2 top fold card base measuring 4-1/4 x 11"; scored at 5-1/2".

Have you had a pumpkin spice drink yet? I haven't just yet but I did find some yummy pumpkin spice almonds. So good! I finished off the card by adding a few copper sequins from my stash. I sure hope I've inspired you to get inky!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Cozy Vibes Girl ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 3 of the Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I'm excited to share another holiday card that I've made to add to my Christmas stash! This time I played with an awesome digital stamp from our fabulous Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs. I love this fab girl and the great big coffee cup!! I could use one of those this morning! LOL!

This beautiful girl is from the Cozy Vibes Girl digital stamps. I used one of the printable sheets so there was no need to resize or combine anything. I just printed it off... easy peasy! I colored the images with Copic markers and used a ruler to get that line above her head just right. I fussy cut around the images leaving some white around the pom pom and hair, otherwise the rest is cut on the black line. I colored the edges of my fussy cutting on the line with a black marker so the cutting looks nice.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04
Hair: E21
Coat: E21, E25
Hat / Scarf / Gloves: BG10, BG01, BG23
Snowflake: B000, B00, B02
Cup: BV31, BV02
Lid: C0, C2, C3

Keeping with a wintry theme, I chose the Christmas Snow 6x6 Pattern Paper Pad from our NEW Sponsor Crafty Stamp Co. I wanted a pretty blue paper that would coordinate with the blue of the snowflake.

Inspiration for my card came from one of our past sketches... BYSHC Sketch 23. I love using the past sketches and changing them up a bit to fit my card is always fun too.

All of my background paper layers are adhered using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web. I added foam tape called iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white), also from Therm O Web, to the back of the main panel and popped it up on the card. And then I finished it off with a little confetti called Metallic Turquoise Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 59 ~ Lovely Latte ~ Lawn Fawn

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a little inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 59 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a fun holiday card featuring a cute die and stamp from our fabulous Sponsor, Lawn Fawn.

I started with my background for this card. I pulled out my retired Perfectly Plaid Christmas 6x6 Paper Pack and trimmed the background layer to 4 x 5-1/4". The teal paper was a scrap. It measures 4 x 1-3/4". I adhered those layers to a red A2 top fold card base of Pure Poppy card stock from Papertrey Ink.

I die cut the pieces for the cup using the Lovely Latte dies. The face and handle were die cut from Pure Poppy card stock. The coffee was die cut from Kraft card stock from Papertrey Ink. The lighter part of the coffee, the inner (green) portion of the cup, and the face/cheeks were die cut from Stampers Select White card stock and I colored them with Copics.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Green: YG11, G24, G46
Coffee: E51
Cheeks: R00, R20
Kitty: R00, R20, YR20, YR15, N0, N2, N4
Bell: Y15, Y28
Eyes / Mouth: 100 (black)

I die cut a circle from vellum card stock using a die from the Large Cross-Stitched Circle Stackables dies. I adhered the cup to the vellum and then adhered the vellum to the card by only applying liquid glue behind the cup. I stamped the adorable kitty from the Say What? Holiday Critters. I colored her like my sweet Quinn and die cut her with the coordinating Say What? Holiday Critters dies. I popped her up on the card with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the Thanks a Latte stamp set. I trimmed it and adhered it directly to the card.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 59 for the month of July. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! The design team, as always, rocked this sketch!

Inky Paws Challenge #242 ~ Color Challenge {Week 1}

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new Inky Paws Challenge! We're playing with a fun mix of colors this month for a Color Challenge! I sure hope that you'll join us and play along with your Newton's Nook Designs products! Don't forget... our challenges are a whole month long so there's lots of time to play along! Yay! You have until Friday, August 1st to get your entries in for the #242 Color Challenge and a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!

Our beautiful colors are... Cotton Candy Pink, Orange Sherbet, Turquoise, and Royal Blue!! Love this pretty combination of colors!

I stamped the beautiful coffee themed heart from the Heartfelt Coffee Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored up all the coffee cups with Copic markers.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used for the kitty and heart:
White: C0, C2
Cotton Candy Pink: RV10, RV52
Orange Sherbet: YR20, YR15
Turquoise: BG000, BG01, BG05
Royal Blue: B02, B24, B28
Coffee: E21, E25
'BREW': RV10, RV52

I die cut the heart using a die from the Heart Frames Die Set, but the scrap of white card stock wasn't big enough. Poor planning on my part! LOL! So I trimmed around the stitching on the heart and adhered it to another heart that I die cut from another piece of white card stock.

I made a fun background using three of the colors and the Plaid Stencil Set. I blended
Kitsch Flamingo and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks over the first stencil in the set. And then I blended Broken China Distress Ink over the second stencil to finish off the pattern. I really like how it turned out. I popped up the heart and the sentiment using foam tape.

Now it's your turn to get your paws inky with your Newton's Nook Designs products and create a project using the color combo of Cotton Candy Pink, Orange Sherbet, Turquoise, and Royal Blue. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Can't wait to see your projects!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 31 ~ Caffeinated Girls ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm also sharing another card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 31 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I felt like playing with some digi stamps so I looked through my files and found the gorgeous Caffeinated Girls from Angie Blom Digital Designs. Love the images in this fab set!

I combined and resized a few different images and a sentiment from the Caffeinated Girls digital stamp set in a Word Document. I printed it off and started coloring. Sadly, I started coloring before I picked my papers so the greens in my coloring were a little off. Otherwise, it works really well with the papers I found in my stash.

Here's a list of the Copic Markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11
Hair: YR20, E34
Sweater: R00, R32, YG11, YG03, G99
Cup: C00, C2, BG10, BG72
Coffee Cup Background: C00, C2, E000, E21, E25, R00, R11, R12, R14, R21, R27, BG10, BG72, YG03, YG67

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 31. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I'd love for you to join in the fun and play with us in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group.

I paired up this girl with the Coffee paper pad from Echo Park Paper Co. I've had these papers forever! Mostly just scraps leftover now so it was perfect for this card and I love how the colors worked so well with my coloring.

I finished off this cute card with a few enamel dots from the coordinating Coffee enamel dots from Echo Park Paper Co. I just love how this turned out! I hope you can find time to play along with the sketch challenge. I can't wait to see what you create. Have an ink-tastic week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky Hugs,
Crystal
