{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 68 ~ Christmas Sugar Cookies ~ Jaded Blossom

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm sharing a little more inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 68 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! I just had to ink up the yummy Christmas Sugar Cookies from our wonderful Sponsor Jaded Blossom.

These adorable stamps are one of my favorites from Jaded Blossom. I just had to use them! I inked up a few of the stamps from the Christmas Sugar Cookies stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them up with Copic markers and then I fussy cut them on the line. I used a Memento Tuxedo Black marker to color the edges of the fussy cutting to make it nice and neat.

Copic markers used:
Santa Cookie: E000, E00, E11, E31, E33, R20, R14, R27, C0, C2, 100 {black for the eyes}
Snowflake Cookie: E31, E33, C0, C2, R20, R14, R27
Candy Cane Cookie:E31, E33, R20, R14, R27, C0, C2

I used an old embossing folder from Cuttlebug called Sledding. It's got to be pretty old I don't think Cuttlebug is even around really anymore. I ran it through my Big Shot and trimmed the papers so there's a border around the edge. And then I adhered it to a white A2 top fold card base.

The sweet sentiment is from the Gingerbread Brewed stamp set. I think it pairs up nicely with these cookies. And I used the coordinating Gingerbread Brewed Outline Dies to die cut the sentiment and popped up it up on the card with foam tape. I die cut two circles from white card stock using the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from Unity... it almost looks like the cookies are on a plate. Ha! That wasn't my intention but I'll take it!

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 68 for the month of April. There's still time to enter the challenge! I used the sweet Dairy Christmas stamp set and the coordinating Dairy Christmas die set. I colored up the stamp with Copic markers that coordinated with my papers.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Rooster ~ YR21, YR24, YR15, YR27, R20, R14
Rooster's Hat: R20, R14, R27, C0, C2
Rooster's Scarf: YG11, G24, G46
Pig ~ R00, R11, R02, R20, R17, N2, N4, N6
Pig's Hat & Scarf: B000, B00, B02, C0, C2
Cow ~ N0, N2, N4, N6, C00, C1, C3, E000, E00, R11, R00, R20
Cow's Hats ~ YG11, G24, G46, C0, C2
Blanket: YG11, G24, G46, C0, C2, R20, R14, R27
Holly: YG11, G24, G46
Berries: R20, R14, R27

You may be having a bit of deja vu with this background... I made two backgrounds when I created my card for the start of {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 68. I wanted to change things up and I used the Stylized Rectangle Dies from Sponsor Jaded Blossom to die cut the background panel. I love the fun rounded corners.

Here's a look at the current {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 68 for the month of April. It's been such a fun sketch to play with!

I also die cut a circle from white card stock using the Stitched Circle Stacklets from Sponsor Taylored Expressions {I'm guessing it's retired. I can't find it on the website}. I stamped the sentiment, trimmed it and popped it up on the card with foam tape. I also popped up the focal circle.

{BYSHC} Spring into Christmas 2026 Linky Party ~ {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 68 ~ Gnome Friends: Reindeer Die ~ Jaded Blossom

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a little inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 68 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group AND it's day 2 of the {BYSHC} Spring into Christmas 2026 Linky Party! Today I'm sharing a sweet Christmas card featuring a darling die set from our amazing Sponsor Jaded Blossom! This month's prize is a $25 gift card to Jaded Blossom! Woohoo!

I die cut all of the fun pieces for the adorable Gnome Friends: Reindeer Die to create my reindeer. I also die cut a scarf using a die from the Gnome Dies: Winter Add Ons. I used Chocolate Chip and Early Espresso card stock from Stampin' Up and Kraft, True Black, Sweet Blush, and Pure Poppy card stock from Papertrey Ink. I added a touch of Copic marker to the reindeer's cheeks with R00 and R20. And then I added a few dots to his cheeks and scarf using a Sakura White Gelly Roll pen.

I applied a whole bunch of fun holiday themed washi tape to a black card stock panel for my background. I die cut the background using a die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} from Unity and then I also cut out the circle die that's behind the reindeer from the same panel using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}, also from Unity.

The sweet sentiment is from the Christmas Village: Post Office stamp set also from Jaded Blossom. This is one of my favorite sentiments!! I heat embossed it using the TE Anti-Static Powder Tool and Sugar Cube White Pigment ink from Taylored Expressions along with Alabaster White Embossing Powder from Unity. And I melted the powder with a Wagner Precision Heat Tool.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 68 for the month of April. If you're interested in seeing a bunch more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 68 ~ Reindeer Blend ~ Jaded Blossom

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing an adorable Christmas card featuring a sweet stamp from our wonderful Sponsor Jaded Blossom! This month's prize is a $25 gift card to Jaded Blossom! So excited!

I inked up the super cute and sweet reindeer mug from the Reindeer Blend clear stamp set. I also stamped the sentiment while I was at it. And then I die cut them both using the coordinating dies from the Reindeer Blend Outline Dies

I set them aside and got to work on my background. I used retired papers from My Favorite Things called Plaid Patterns Merry & Bright 6x6 Paper Pack. I had some scraps and ended up cutting a few more for my background. I just eyeballed the placement for the strips. I tried to keep them about 1/8" apart. I used 6 or 7 different pattern papers and alternated each design. It was fun once I got in the groove. So fun I made another background that I'll be sharing soon.

Once my background was done. I trimmed it down to 4 x 5-1/4" and then I adhered it to a white A2 top fold card base. I then die cut two circles for my focal image. I die cut a piece of Lovely Lady card stock and Stampers Select White card stock from Papertrey Ink using the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from Unity and adhered them to the card. And then I popped up the reindeer mug and sentiment using foam tape.

Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 34 ~ Poinsettia Die ~ Jaded Blossom

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 5 of the Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I'm adding another sweet card to my Christmas stash! This time I played with the wonderful Poinsettia Die from Sponsor Jaded Blossom. I'm also sharing inspiration for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 34 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group.

I die cut my poinsettia pieces from the Sparkling Christmas Wishes 6x6 Paper Pad from our Sponsor Not 2 Shabby! Love these pretty papers! I adhered all of my pieces together using the iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web.

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 34. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it.

My strips of dry embossed kraft card stock can be seen a bit better in this photo. I ran scraps of kraft card stock through my Big Shot with the retired Know the Ropes Embossing Folder from Sponsor Taylored Expressions. Trimmed them up and adhered them for a CAS design. I love the texture it adds to the card.

The wonderful sentiment from the Winter Cardinal stamp set from Sponsor Pink & Main is heat embossed, trimmed and adhered directly to the card. I finished off the card with one White Glossy Card Bling from Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs in the center of the poinsettia. I just love how this card turned out!

If you haven't already, stop by the Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! So much amazing inspiration! You can't help but be inspired to make a card or two! Have an ink-tastic week!

Spring into Christmas 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Large Gingerbread Girl ~ Jaded Blossom

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with another fun holiday card for the Spring into Christmas 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party! My card today features a cute stamp from our wonderful Sponsor Jaded Blossom called Large Gingerbread Girl. I adore this large ginger!! So cute!

I inked up a cute background using the Layered Gingerbread Men Stencil from Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs. This fab stencil has two stencils in the set. I inked up the gingerbread cookies on Kraft card stock using Vintage Photo Distress Ink. And then I replaced the stencils and blended Candied Apple Distress Ink over the second stencil.

I also stamped the cute sentiment in my mini misti and used the fabulous Pressure Pal from Sponsor Twiddler's Nook. The sentiment is from the retired Gingerbread Hugs from Sponsor Not 2 Shabby. I heat embossed the sentiment by prepping the card stock with the TE Anti Static Powder tool from Sponsor Taylored Expressions. I stamped the sentiment using Sugar Cube Pigment ink from Taylored Expressions. I dusted the wet ink using Alabaster White embossing powder from Brutus Monroe and then melted the powder with a Wagner Precision Heat tool.

My card is inspired by the current Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 32. I turned the sketch on the side for a fun twist. Such a fun sketch! Join us in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group to play along with this month's sketch challenge!

I inked up the adorable gingerbread and the name of this stamp is true! It's a large gingerbread girl! LOL! I colored her up with my Copic markers and then die cut her using a die from the BIG Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} from Sponsor Unity. I die cut a scrap of red card stock using a die from the Stitched Hillside Borders from Sponsor Lawn Fawn. I trimmed and adhered the sentiment to the card and adhered the red hillside piece to the card. And then I popped up the gingerbread panel using 3D Foam Squares from Sponsor Therm O Web.

Here's a quick list of the Copic Markers I used:
Gingerbread: E21, E23, E25
Bow / Cheeks / Hearts: R20, R14, R27
Icing: C00, C2

I hope you'll stop by the Spring into Christmas 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared! I've been inspired by so many of the cards! I sure hope you'll stop by and check it out! Have an ink-tastic day!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 56 ~ Hipster Christmas ~ Jaded Blossom

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with one last card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 56 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing another cute holiday card featuring a fun stamp from our wonderful Sponsor, Jaded Blossom.

I inked up the cute Santa from the Hipster Christmas Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I colored him up with Copic markers. Isn't he just too fun and cute?! I love this stamp!

Here's a quick list of the Copics I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E51, E04
Hair: C00, C2, C3
Hat: R20, R14, R27, C00, C2, C3, N0, N2, N4, N6
Glasses: R20, R14, R27

I paired him up with the Winter Cabin 6x6 Paper Collection from Brutus Monroe. These papers have a lumberjack vibe and I thought they were fun to use with this hipster Santa.

I wanted to add a little layer between Santa and the paper but I didn't want to cover up the paper too much so I went with vellum card stock. I die cut a scrap piece using a circle die from the X Stitched Circle dies from Gina Marie Designs.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 56 for the month of April. There's just a few days left to enter the challenge that ends on April 30th! {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 56 ~ Snowman Dies ~ Jaded Blossom

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a little inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 56 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing another sweet holiday card featuring an adorable die from our fabulous Sponsor, Jaded Blossom.

I die cut all of the fun pieces for the Snowman Dies from Jaded Blossom. Here's a list of the card stock I used to build the snowman: Stampers Select White card stock, Kraft card stock, True Black card stock, Prairie Grass card stock, Orange Zest card stock, and Berry Sorbet card stock from Papertrey Ink. I also used Soft Sky card stock from Stampin' Up.

I paired up the adorable snowman with the lovely papers from the Sugar Plum 6x6 Paper Pad from My Mind's Eye. The background panel measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2". The scene paper measures 1-3/4 x 5-1/2" on the left and 1-1/4 x 2-3/8" for the right top piece and 1-1/4 x 2-15/16". The striped paper measures 3-1/4 x 5-1/2". I adhered all of my layers to a white A2 top fold card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Village: Post Office stamp set, also from Jaded Blossom. Sadly, it's a retired set. I thought about stamping it on vanilla card stock but chose white so that the snowman wasn't the only white on the card. What do you think? Should I have done vanilla card stock?

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 56 ~ Christmas Sugar Cookies ~ Jaded Blossom

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a cute Christmas card featuring an adorable stamp from our wonderful Sponsor, Jaded Blossom! Jaded Blossom has generously offered up a $25 gift card as a prize for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 56 this month! So wonderful!!

I inked up the super cute reindeer cookie from the Christmas Sugar Cookies Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it up with Copic markers. I also stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Village: Post Office.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Brown: E51, E23, E25
Tan: E51, E23
Antlers: E51, E23, E25, E27
Nose: R20, R14, R27
Eyes: N4, N8

I paired up the sweet stamp with the Gentle Winter 6x6 Paper Pack from Ink N' Splatter. I die cut a scrap of vellum using a die from the Big and Little Pierced Chain Circle from Gina Marie Designs. I adhered the sweet reindeer to the vellum and then I added foam tape to the back of the reindeer to add some dimension to the card.

I also popped up the sentiment using foam tape. I kept this card pretty simple. A few enamel dots or maybe snowflakes would make it a bit more snazzy but I like it simple.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 51 ~ Snowman Dies ~ Jaded Blossom

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a little inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 51 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a sweet Christmas card featuring a wonderful die set from our amazing sponsor, Jaded Blossom, called Snowman Dies

I love the fabulous selection of dies over at Jaded Blossom! I'm a huge fan of the gnome dies but I don't have any Christmas ones YET, but I recently added the adorable Snowman Dies to my collection and I couldn't wait to try them out. Aren't they just the cutest?! I love them!

I paired up the snowmen with some pretty papers from Waffle Flower called Season's Greetings. Once I chose my papers, I was able to pick out card stock that coordinated with the colors in the papers. For the snowmen and white on the beanie I used Stampers Select White card stock from Papertrey Ink. Here's a quick list of the other card stock I used for die cutting the snowmen:

Eyes / Buttons / Top Hat: True Black card stock from Papertrey Ink
Noses: Orange Zest card stock from Papertrey Ink
Arms: Dark Chocolate card stock from Papertrey Ink
Top Hat Band / Blue Scarf / Blue Beanie: Midnight Muse card stock from Stampin' Up
Berry / Red Scarf: Pure Poppy card stock from Papertrey Ink
Holly: New Leaf card stock from Papertrey Ink

The sentiment from the Christmas Village: Post Office stamp set from Jaded Blossom is heat embossed on Pure Poppy card stock with Sugar Cube White Pigment Ink from Taylored Expressions, Alabaster White Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe and melted with a Wagner Precision Heat Tool. I die cut the sentiment using a die from the Scalloped & Stitched Sentiment Nesting Dies from Unity.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 51 ~ Christmas Village Coffee Shoppe ~ Jaded Blossom

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a fun Christmas card featuring a beautiful stamp from our amazing sponsor, Jaded Blossom! Jaded Blossom has generously offered up a $25 gift card as a prize for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 51 this month! So wonderful!!

I just love the fabulous stamps over at Jaded Blossom. They also have amazing dies... including a fabulous selection of gnome dies. I don't actually have any of the Christmas ones, but I'm hoping to get some for Christmas this year!! Woohoo! Anywho, I do have the beautiful Christmas Village: Coffee Shoppe stamps in my stash and I was super excited to finally ink it up and color. It's SO pretty!

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Roof: N0, N2, N4
Windows / Frames: Y11, Y15, E31, E35, E37
Building / Cup: E30, E31, E35, E37
Door / Awning: R20, R43, R27
Whip Cream: C00, C2
Lid: C0, C1, R20, R43, R27
Straw: C00, C2, YG11, G24, G46
Sign: E30, E31, E35, E37, R20, R43, R27, YG11, G24, G46
Green Scallops: YG11, G24, G46

I paired it up with the Miss Mary Christmas paper pad from Hobby Lobby. I absolutely love the simplicity of this card design so just adding a strip of pattern paper to the bottom of my panel was the perfect touch! And these papers have some fun glitter in them! Love that added shine!

For my background panel I blended Sugar Cube Pigment ink from Taylored Expressions over the Snowed in Stencil from Carta Bella Paper. I heat embossed the sentiment, trimmed it up and adhered it directly to the card. To finish off the card, I added a few snowflake bits from the Christmas Confetti Clay Embellishment mix from Twiddler's Nook.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 51 for the month of November. Loving this fab sketch! I can't wait to see what everyone does with it. I hope you'll join us and play along with the sketch.
