You Are Simply Amazing ~ New Adhesive Transfers ~ Unity & Therm O Web

 Hello there crafty friend!
Have you seen the amazing new release from Unity and ThermoWeb?! They've collaborated on some more new Adhesive Transfers and both design teams have shared a bunch of amazing inspiration on Instagram for a fun Instagram hop, along with the Brutus Monroe design team, too!! I'm in awe of all the amazing inspiration shared!

I ink smooshed a pretty background with Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide inks. Such pretty colors for Fall! I stamped the beautiful background with the new gorgeous Fall Stems stamp with Ranger Jet Black Archival ink.

No need for a laminator for these amazing Adhesive Tranfers!! I just used my Big Shot to apply the 'You Are Simply' and 'Amazing' sentiments from the {Simply Amazing} Deco Foil Adhesive Transfers pack to my ink smooshed and stamped background. And then I used the Gold Deco Foil Transfer Foils over the Adhesive Transfers and ran it through my Big Shot again. Super easy peasy and gorgeous!

*** Crafty Tip ~ be sure to completely dry your Distress Oxide inks either with a heat tool or let them sit overnight so the Adhesive Transfer will adhere to the oxides. ***

I trimmed my background and adhered it to a dry embossed layer of True Black card stock from Papertrey Ink that I had also trimmed and then adhered to a black card front measuring 5-1/2 x 4-1/4". The embossing folder is an old one in my stash so I don't have a name to share for it. I added some depth and shadows in and under the flowers with a few Prismacolor pencils to help the flowers pop. I think it turned out pretty nice.

A pretty birthday card for my second card! I'm loving this new floral stamp called Happiness & Wildflowers... it's so beautiful! I stamped it twice with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and then colored it up with the following Copic Markers:

Yellow Flowers ~ Y11, Y06, Y35
Pink Flowers ~ RV10, RV21, RV14
Leaves ~ YG01, YG11, YG23

Once I was happy with the coloring, I fussy cut each floral leaving a skinny white border around the image. I set those aside and started on my card front. I die cut a piece of white card stock with the largest die from the Eyelet Elegance Rectangle dies from Gina Marie Designs. I cut my sentiment from the {Blooming Friendship} Deco Foil Adhesive Transfers and applied it to the center of the die cut.

I placed the die cut in a Deco Foil Craft & Carrier sheet that I had cut in half. I placed a piece of card stock approximately 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" on top of my die cut for two reasons... first to protect the adhesive transfer from getting all scratchy and messed up since my plates are well used and secondly to add a bit of pressure when going through my Big Shot. I cut a piece of Pink Melon Deco Foil Transfer Foil and placed that on top with the pretty pink shine face up. I ran it through my Big Shot again and revealed the pretty foiled sentiment!! Love it! And so easy just with my die cutting machine! I adhered my die cut to a Melon Mambo card front measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2". I popped up the flowers with foam tape and added a few enamel dots from my stash. I adhered the card front to an A2 top fold card base of Stampers Select White card stock from Papertrey Ink. All done and so pretty!

I sure hope you'll head over to Unity and check out these amazing new Adhesive Transfers... they are so fun to play with and you can use them with a die cut machine or a laminator! Also be sure to check out all the amazing new stamps that were just released... I spy a new adorable Winnie the Pooh stamp! Oh, and there's a super cute gnome too! Eeeep!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Christmas in July 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Merry Merry Mini ~ Colorado Craft Company

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's the last day for the Christmas in July 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party and I'm sharing a card featuring four Sponsors for our Linky Party... first, I've used the beautiful Merry Merry Mini Savvy Sentiment stamp from return Sponsor Colorado Craft Company. I stamped it with Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink.

I then die cut it with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle die from return Sponsor Gina Marie Designs. I cut all my layers of pretty pattern paper from the Meowy Christmas paper pad from return Sponsor Newton's Nook Designs.

And to stay a bit closer to the sketch I decided to stamp the super cute coffee cup from the Perfect Blend mini stamp set from return Sponsor Gina K. Designs. Since the focal piece is the sentiment my little cup takes the place of the sentiment in the sketch. I stamped the little cup with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored it up with the following Copic Markers:

Whipped Cream ~ C00, C2
Candies / Straw ~ R20, R14
Cup ~ YG11, YG23

I fussy cut the cup along the black line and colored the edge of the cup with a Memento Tuxedo black marker. I added a bit of foam tape to the back of the cup and popped it up on the card front. I adhered the card front to a white A2 top fold card base. All done!

There's still a bit of time to play along with this month's Sketch 24!! This sketch has been great for using those pretty pattern papers. No matter how hard I try to use up some of my papers, I seem to always manage to grow my stash! Crazy how that happens! LOL

Colorado Craft Company just released some seriously adorable Christmas stamps and coordinating dies... you should really stop by their shop and check them out! I think the new Sweater Weather stamp will be coming to my house. :)  So cute! I hope you'll stop by the Christmas in July 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! So many wonderful cards and tags have been shared so far... I'm so inspired to keep on building my stash of holiday cards! I hope you'll join in the fun and play along!

Christmas in July 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Cheery Deer ~ Lawn Fawn

 Hello there crafty friend!
We're nearing the end of the Christmas in July 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party with just today and tomorrow left for linking up those holiday cards. I'm sharing my 7th card for the linky party and this one may just be my favorite!! I used the absolutely adorable Cheery Deer die set from NEW Sponsor Lawn Fawn for a cute CAS card! I just love a cute CAS card!

I started by die cutting all my pieces for the cute Cheery Deer. I die cut the full deer from Chocolate Chip card stock from Stampin' Up! And then I die cut the outline deer from Close to Cocoa (SU!) and Kraft card stock from Papertrey Ink putting the colors in two separate Craft Embellishment Trays from return Sponsor Twiddler's Nook. This is a great way to keep your die cut colored pieces separate but contained... no losing them on your crafty desk!! Twiddler's Nook has several styles of embellishment trays too. The little Cloud Craft Embellishment Tray is one of my favorites. So cute!

I adhered the Close to Cocoa deer outline to the Chocolate Chip full deer back piece and then put the Kraft antlers, eye areas and belly pieces on their little spaces. I die cut the little pink ears from Pretty in Pink card stock (SU!) and adhered them to the deer. And then I die cut the hooves from True Black card stock (PTI) and adhered them to the deer too. Isn't he the cutest?! I added that adorable red enamel dot from the Rainbow Mirror Foil Enamel Dots from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs and turned my deer into Rudolph.

I set Rudolph aside and die cut the cute string of lights which also comes in the die set. The lights are also two dies... a base light string and the outline. I die cut them both from True Black card stock and adhered them together. Rather than die cut the whole string from several colors I just die cut one light bulb from each colors of scrap card stock. I used Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Green Galore, Orchid Opulence and Only Orange card stocks from Stampin' Up! I adhered the lights to Rudolph's antlers and then added foam tape to the back of him and set him aside.

For my very simple background, all I did was blend some Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink with a large post-it note on the bottom to make that straight edge. I used my Ranger Anti Static Pouch all over the oxide ink and then stamped the blended background with a couple snowflakes from the Winter Skies stamp set from Lawn Fawn using Sugar Cube White Pigment ink from Taylored Expressions. And then I applied some Alabaster White Embossing powder from Sponsor Brutus Monroe and melted it with my heat tool. I stamped a few more tiny snowflakes with the white ink and then I added some dots of snow with a Sakura White Gelly Roll pen.

And then I goofed up and stamped my sentiment just under that blended ink. I didn't give myself enough room for Rudolph to sit so to fix my goof I found a scrap of white card stock that would fit under the ink blended area. I lined it all up this time with Rudolph in place and then stamped the sentiment again. The 'Wishing You a Magical' sentiment is from the Winter Skies stamp set from Lawn Fawn. The 'Christmas' sentiment is a die cut from the Cursive Merry Christmas Word die from Gina Marie Designs. It's actually Merry Christmas together but I trimmed off the Merry so it would work with the sentiment I wanted on my card. I die cut it from True Black card stock three times and then adhered them all together and then adhered it on the card front. I trimmed the card front and then adhered it to the white A2 top fold card base. Card #7 done!

Be sure to stop by Lawn Fawn to check out all the adorable Christmas goodies!! So many adorable stamps and dies to play with! I hope you'll also stop by the Christmas in July 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! So many wonderful cards and tags have been shared so far... I'm so inspired to keep on building my stash of holiday cards! I hope you'll join in the fun and play along!

Simple Stenciled One-Layer Card ~ April 2022 Uniquely Unity ~ Unity Stamp Co,

Hello there crafty friend!
I have one more card to share with you using the beautiful April 2022 Uniquely Unity membership stamp! This one is a very simple one-layer card. A little bit of ink blending over a stencil and then some simple stamping... so easy, quick and pretty! This would be super easy to duplicate in a rainbow of colors, too!

I started with a white card front measuring 5-1/2 x 4-1/4". I secured the Grime Layering stencil from Tim Holtz over the card front with Pixie Tape and ink blended Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink over the bottom portion of the stencil. I started ink blending in the bottom left corner and gradually lightened my touch as I moved across the card.

You can see the ink blending is lighter on the bottom right. I ink blended Tumbled Glass on the top portion using a heavier hand in the middle of the ink blending over the Salty Ocean and gradually lightening my touch as I moved up and to the right of the card.

Once my ink blending was done I stamped the dandelions and the sentiment with Gina K. Black Amalgam ink. I trimmed the card front to 5-1/4 x 4" and adhered it to a white A2 top fold card base. Done. I think this would look lovely in purple and pink... oh, a pretty turquoise color would be beautiful too. Really any color would be lovely.

You can check out my process video for this card here... Simple Stenciled One-Layer Card | April 2022 Uniquely Unity | Unity Stamp Co.

I had so much fun inking up the You Can Dream It stamp set! If you receive this membership, I sure hope you've been inspired to ink it up! You can check out the Uniquely Unity membership over at Unity Stamp Co. if you aren't already signed up to receive it.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Sunshine and Rainbows Birthday ~ April 2022 Whit Kit Rainbow Wishes ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with one more rainbow birthday card using the wonderful April 2022 Whit Kit from Unity Stamp Co. called Rainbow Wishes. I had to go with a rainbow color palette this time! And I couldn't help but use all of the rainbow stamps this time!! So fun!

I chose my rainbow of inks from my collection of Distress Oxide inks. I chose Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet. This was such a beautiful stamp set to play with!

I used the stencil for the green rainbow layer and stamped some green stars with one of the little stamps in the Rainbow Wishes kit. I also blended some orange and purple over those two layers to give the rainbow a bit more balance. I stamped the sentiment from the Sunshine and Rainbows {April 2021 Sentiment Kit} with Gina K. Black Amalgam ink. I trimmed it and adhered it directly to the card front.

I wrapped the pretty rainbow ribbon that I got as a freebie with my March 2022 Kit of the Month membership over the card front using 1/8" Easy-Tear Tape from iCraft. I popped up the card front with lot of foam tape and then I added the big beautiful rainbow rhinestones {also a freebie}... love it!! You can check out my process video here... Sunshine and Rainbows Birthday Card | April 2022 Whit Kit Rainbow Wishes | Unity Stamp Co.

Here's a look at the card kit! Be sure to check out the Whit Kit membership at Unity. Loving this rainbow card kit!! If you already have the kit, I hope you share your creations in the Unity Show & Tell Facebook group! I'd love to see what you create!

Winnie the Pooh: Sweet Little Smiles ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
Who is excited for more Winnie the Pooh stamps at Unity?!?! I am!! I couldn't wait to play with the new Hundred Acre Wood background stamp and the sweet new Winnie the Pooh: Sweet Little Smiles stamp kit... Eeep!! They are both so awesome and it was just natural to combine them for a cute card!

I ink smooshed some Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Forest Moss Distress Oxide inks for the Hundred Acre Wood background. I like to leave a bit of white lately when I ink smoosh. I die cut the background with one of the Slash Stitched Round Rectangle dies from Gina Marie Designs. I mat it on True Black card stock from Papertrey Ink and then wrapped it a few times with Ivory May Arts Burlap string. I just tied it with a knot.

I adhered the layers to a Kraft card front measuring 5-1/2 x 4-1/4" and then adhered the card front to a white A2 top fold card base. I colored up Winnie the Pooh with the following Copic Markers:

Winnie the Pooh ~ Y11, Y15
Honey Pot ~ Y06, Y38, R02, R14, R27
Sky ~ B0000, B00
Ground ~ YG23, YG17

I die cut the colored image with a Wonky Stitched Circle die from Gina Marie Designs and distressed the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks. I popped up the wonky circle with foam tape.

I trimmed the sentiment and distressed it a bit with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink. Now I wish I had planned out the placement for the sentiment earlier. I would have adhered the sentiment to the wonky stitched circle and then popped them both up, but I just adhered it to the card so it has a bump in the middle from the string.

I still love how it turned out though. Such a sweet new Winnie the Pooh stamp! Speaking of the new Winnie the Pooh... Unity is offering the entire Winnie the Pooh line in a discounted bundle!!
OMGeee... you have to go check it out!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Thanks So Much Tulips ~ New Adhesive Transfers ~ Unity Stamp Co. & ThermoWeb Collab

 Hello there crafty friend!
Have you seen the amazing new release from Unity and ThermoWeb today?! They've collaborated on the cool new Adhesive Transfers and both design teams have shared a bunch of amazing inspiration on their blogs and on a fun Instagram hop, along with the Gina K. Design design team too!! I'm in awe of all the amazing inspiration shared!

First of all, please forgive the photos... these amazing Adhesive Transfers make such shiny and beautiful cards that they are hard to get good photos! But they are gorgeous in person, I promise! CAS is one of my fave styles of cards so this idea came to mind while the beautiful Layering Tulip Stencil was re-released last week.

I ink blended some Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Kitsch Flamingo, Shabby Shutters, and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide inks over the Layering Tulips Stencil.

No need for a laminator for these amazing Adhesive Tranfers!! I just used my Big Shot to apply the Thanks and So Much sentiments from the Adhesive Transfers Sentiments 1 pack to my card stock. I used the Gold Glitter Deco Foil Transfer Foils by Unity, as well.
Super easy peasy and gorgeous!

*** Crafty Tip ~ be sure to completely dry your Distress Oxide inks either with a heat tool or let them sit overnight so the Adhesive Transfer will adhere to the oxides. ***

I used a couple amazing dies from Gina Marie Designs for my focal piece layers... the Wonky Stitched Oval and Pleated Lace Oval dies. I adhered those to a white A2 top fold card base. And finished off the card with a few black rhinestones from the Rainbow Bling Rhinestones pack from Gina Marie Designs.

You can check out my process video here... Thanks So Much Tulips | New Adhesive Transfers | Unity & ThermoWeb.

I sure hope you'll head over to Unity and check out these amazing new Adhesive Transfers... they are so fun to play with and you don't need a laminator to use them!

Distress Oxide Ink Blending ~ Layering Tulip Stencil ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
There's a fun new release over at Unity! I'm sharing a pretty slimline card with lots of fun Distress Oxide Ink Blending over two stencils from Unity Stamp Co. I thought it would be fun to use the Mountain Scapes Stencil in a different way. I used it for some interest in my background rather than an actual mountain scene.

I like the dimension the background gives to those top tulips. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide inks over the Mountain Scapes Stencil for my background. I splattered some water over the ink blended background and dabbed it dry with paper towel.

I ink blended over the Layering Tulip Stencil with Ripe Persimmon, Barn Door, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks. I also splattered some white acrylic paint over the panel and dried it with a heat tool.

I die cut a piece of white card stock with the Pleated Lace Slimline die from Gina Marie Designs. I trimmed the tulip panel and adhered it to the die cut layer. And then I adhered it to the slimline card base measuring 7 x 8-1/2"; scored at 3-1/2".

I stamped the sentiment from the 3 Tiered Birthday itty bitty stamp kit from Unity with Sugar Cube Pigment ink from Taylored Expressions on True Black card stock from Papertrey Ink. And then I added Alabaster white embossing powder from Brutus Monroe and melted it with a Mini Wagner heat tool. You can check out my process video here... Distress Oxide Ink Blending | Layering Tulip Stencil | Unity Stamp Co.

Be sure to stop by Unity to see all the amazing new releases! Lots of fun goodies on sale too!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

CAS Stenciled Background ~ Brew It Anya Card ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!

I am super excited and honored to be guest designing for The Greeting Farm for the month of September!! I have a few fun projects to share with you all this month... starting with an adorable CAS card I created using the beautiful Brew It Anya stamp! She just may be my first ever stamp set from The Greeting Farm. I love this stamp so much... it's definitely a fave!

I decided to go with a brighter color palette and I asked my daughter to help pick the colors. I had light blue and yellow copics picked out and my daughter picked out the cute green for the scarf and boots. So cute! I ink blended Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks over a knit stencil on a piece of white card stock measuring 4 x 5-1/4". I stamped the sentiment directly over the stenciled background with Memento Tuxedo black ink. I then adhered the panel to a blue A2 side fold card base.

I stamped the sweet Brew It Anya with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored her up with the following Copic markers:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11, R00, R20
Hair ~ YR31, E43, E44
Scarf ~ YG0000, YG23, B02
Dress ~ B0000, B00, B02
Boots ~ YG0000, YG09, YG23
Bag ~ Y06, Y15
Hair Clip ~ YG0000, YG23
Cup ~ C00, C2, E21, E25, YG09

I fussy cut Anya and cleaned up the edges of the image with a Memento Tuxedo black marker. I popped Anya up on the card with foam squares and then added a bit of glossy accents to her bear barrette. I added flowers to her scarf with the B02 copic marker and a white gel pen. I also added a flower to the cup with the white gel pen and a YG09 copic marker for the little leaf.

I hope I've inspired you to get inky!
See you next time.

Crystal

Vintage Krafty Christmas ~ Tin Tile Background & Holly Jolly Holiday ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new release over at Unity and I am absolutely loving the fab new Tin Tile Background stamp and, of course, the Holly Jolly Holiday stamps!!! Ahh-mazing!!! I had to pair them up together and make a vintage krafty Christmas card!

I blended a background on Kraft card stock with Peacock Feathers and Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide inks and then I stamped the Tin Tile Background with Ranger Archival jet black ink. I added a bit of Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink around the outer edges and die cut the piece with a large stitched rectangle die. I also die cut the center with a smaller stitched rectangle die and I mat both pieces with a piece of Neenah Grocer Kraft card stock. I added a bit of Apple Barrel white acrylic paint splatter to both layers.

I stamped the cute Santa and sentiment from the Holly Jolly Holiday stamp set with Gina K. Designs Amalgam black ink and colored up Santa with the following Copic markers:

Skin ~ E00, E04, E11, R20
Coat / Hat ~ R000, R14, R46
Shoes / Mittens ~ N3
White Accents ~ C00, C3, Sakura White Gelly Roll pen

I die cut my focal piece with a stitched circle die and added a bit of Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink around the edges. I wrapped my card front with a piece of Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen Ribbon from Stampin' Up (pretty sure it's retired) and then adhered my smaller rectangle piece. I tied a pretty bow with another piece of the pretty ribbon and adhered it to the card with a couple glue dots. And I popped up my focal piece with foam squares... done!

I just adore how this vintage krafty Christmas card turned out! I hope you like it too! Be sure to check out all the amazing new releases over at Unity Stamp Co. and, of course, there's a fab sale going on!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.
