Advent Calendar 2025 Day 9 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 9 of the 2025 Advent Calendar from Unity!! You still with me?! I know the closer we get to Christmas the busier we're all getting. Speaking of being busy, I decided to make a simple card today.

How fun is this cute sentiment stamp?! I adore the font! And I think it's really cute on the tag!

You can check out my video revealing the Advent Calendar Day 9 stamp and my process in making this card here... Unity Advent Calendar 2025 Day 9 | Unity Stamp Co.

Inspiration for my card came from the {BYSHC} Sketch 23! A very simple sketch.

I die cut the sentiment using a die from the Scalloped Tags {nesting dies} (not currently available). I also die cut a piece of the pattern paper for the mat.

I paired up the sentiment with the Jubilant Tapestry {paper pack}. I love all the fun patterns in these papers. I die cut a few scraps using the awesome Washi Tape {die set}. Sadly, it's no longer available.

I'll be back tomorrow for Day 10 of the 2025 Advent Calendar from Unity!
Have an ink-tastic day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Cozy Vibes Girl ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 3 of the Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I'm excited to share another holiday card that I've made to add to my Christmas stash! This time I played with an awesome digital stamp from our fabulous Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs. I love this fab girl and the great big coffee cup!! I could use one of those this morning! LOL!

This beautiful girl is from the Cozy Vibes Girl digital stamps. I used one of the printable sheets so there was no need to resize or combine anything. I just printed it off... easy peasy! I colored the images with Copic markers and used a ruler to get that line above her head just right. I fussy cut around the images leaving some white around the pom pom and hair, otherwise the rest is cut on the black line. I colored the edges of my fussy cutting on the line with a black marker so the cutting looks nice.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04
Hair: E21
Coat: E21, E25
Hat / Scarf / Gloves: BG10, BG01, BG23
Snowflake: B000, B00, B02
Cup: BV31, BV02
Lid: C0, C2, C3

Keeping with a wintry theme, I chose the Christmas Snow 6x6 Pattern Paper Pad from our NEW Sponsor Crafty Stamp Co. I wanted a pretty blue paper that would coordinate with the blue of the snowflake.

Inspiration for my card came from one of our past sketches... BYSHC Sketch 23. I love using the past sketches and changing them up a bit to fit my card is always fun too.

All of my background paper layers are adhered using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web. I added foam tape called iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white), also from Therm O Web, to the back of the main panel and popped it up on the card. And then I finished it off with a little confetti called Metallic Turquoise Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

If you haven't already, stop by the Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! I have so many wonderful ideas for future cards! So inspiring! I hope you have an ink-redible day!

Spring into Christmas 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Elves ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with another card for the Spring into Christmas 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party! It was so much fun checking out the inspiration shared yesterday for the start of the Linky Party. So many beautiful cards! Today I'm sharing a card using a sweet digi stamp from return Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs called Elves

This adorable digi is so fun to color! I went with a traditional color combo of green and red with a bit of yellow. And I was able to pair it up with a pretty plaid pattern paper from the Meowy Christmas 6x6 paper pad from return Sponsor Newton's Nook Designs.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used to color up this cute digi stamp:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11, E04, R000, R20
Hair ~ E43, E47, E97, E39
Reds ~ R000, R20, R14, R27
Greens ~ YG11, G24, G46
Yellows ~ Y11, Y06, Y15, Y35
Whites ~ C00, C1, C3

I fussy cut the colored Elves leaving a skinny white border around the edges. I die cut a panel of white card stock with the second largest rectangle die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} from Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. I adhered all my layers together using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from our wonderful Sponsor Therm O Web. And I finished off my card using some glitter green enamel dots from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs.

My card design was inspired by {BYSHC} Sketch 23. I turned my top banner for the sentiment. And I had to omit the bottom banners, but this was the sketch that inspired my card.

Before you leave, be sure to stop by Angie Blom Digital Designs... Angie has a wonderful 50% OFF Sale going on right now!! Woohoo!! And if you haven't already, stop by the Spring into Christmas 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!!

Christmas in July 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Home for the Holidays ~ Polka Dot Orchard

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a sweet and simple card using the adorable Home for the Holidays digital stamp from returning Sponsor Polka Dot Orchard. I've actually had this sweet digi stamp printed off for awhile but I hadn't gotten around to coloring it or using it for a card. I thought now was the perfect time!

I had resized the truck digi and the sentiment in a Word Document and print it off on white card stock. I die cut the card front with the largest stitched die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} from returning Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. And then I went looking through my Christmas papers... I found some sweet papers that were leftover from my Scrapping for Less Design Team days. I thought they were perfect for this card and even more so since they were designed by returning Sponsor Teresa Russell of Fresh and Renewed with Teresa.

I only have a few scrap pieces left of these papers so I combined two pieces together to cover the front of my white A2 top fold card base (turned on it's side). And then I trimmed a couple scraps and adhered them to the focal piece.

Here's a quick list of the Copic Markers I used to color up this cute digi stamp:

Truck ~ R20, R14, R27
Windows ~ B0000, B00
Tires ~ N0, N1, N3, N5, N7
Headlights ~ Y11, Y06, Y35
Tree ~ YG11, G24, G46
Ground ~ N0, N3

My inspiration for my card was last month's {BYSHC} Sketch 23... such a simple sketch design! I did change up my little banner flags so they worked with my design.

Before you leave, be sure to stop by Polka Dot Orchard... they're having a wonderful sale on all the Christmas digital stamps!! Woohoo!! I just love a good sale! And if you haven't already, stop by the Christmas in July 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! I'm so excited to continue building my stash of holiday cards for 2022... I hope you'll join in the fun and play along! Let's build our stash of holiday cards this week!!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 23 ~ Christmas Dance ~ Lili of the Valley Digi Shop

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with my weekly Christmas card and oh my goodness it's been so hot here in Southern Missouri... I couldn't wait to make a Christmas card and dream of some cooler weather. I am not made for these hot humid days! Anywho... not too long ago, Cathy, one of my sweet Design Team members for {BYSHC} enabled us with a wonderful sale on Lili of the Valley digital stamps and I just had to get a few. And yes, they were all Christmas... I can't help myself! I love Christmas! So I couldn't wait to use one of these cuties for my card this week using the {BYSHC} Sketch 23!

Isn't she just a doll!?! Oh my cuteness!! I love her! This sweet digital stamp is called Christmas Dance and as I mentioned above she's from Lili of the Valley Digi Shop. I resized her in a Word document and then printed her off.

I wanted really bright and fun colors so I looked through my stash and found the Christmas Magic 6 x 6" paper pad from Doodlebug Design with this beautiful rainbow of colors! With these colors in mind I colored up this cutie and then I fussy cut her leaving a very skinny white border. I also fussy cut a few of the stars that were around her using a Memento Tuxedo black marker to color up the edges of the fussy cut stars making them all neat and tidy.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11, E04
Hair ~ E41, E43, E44, E49
Jacket ~ C00, C2, C3, BG000, BG11, BG23
Skirt ~ R20, R14, R27, RV10, RV21
Tights ~ C00, C2, BG11, BG23, RV10, RV21
Shoes ~ BG000, BG11, BG23, Y11, Y06, Y15
Stars ~ Y11, Y06, Y15
Snow ~ C00, C2, C3

I die cut the pretty yellow star paper with the largest stitched scallop die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} from Unity. I adhered it to the pretty plaid rainbow background measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2". I cut a couple banners from the pattern paper scraps and adhered those just under the stitches. I adhered the sweet Christmas Dance girl and the stars. And then I stamped a sweet sentiment that I found from an Itty Bitty stamp called Sweet Christmas Wishes from Unity. I trimmed up the sentiment and adhered it directly to the card. No foam tape or popping up for this card. I just love how this turned out! Too cute!

Here's another look at this month's {BYSHC} Sketch 23! I hope you've found some inspiration for the sketch or maybe just been inspired to make a Christmas card. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, the design team is sharing a whole bunch of wonderful inspiration over on the  {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! I'll be back next week with my first card card for {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 24!! I can't believe it's almost July! Wow! Anywho... have a great weekend!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 23 ~ Curvy Girl with Holiday Gifts ~ Stamping Bella

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with my weekly Christmas card using the {BYSHC} Sketch 23 from Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers and this week I was excited to finally ink up the beautiful Curvy Girl with Holiday Gifts from Stamping Bella!! Love this big beautiful stamp and she's been just sitting on my desk waiting to get inked up!

For this card I used pattern paper for all my layers. I used the Christmas in the Village Collection 6 x 6 paper pad from Bo Bunny. I meant to pick out my papers before coloring but then I forgot to so once I was done coloring I started looking through my paper stash and was so excited to find these papers that have all the colors I used in my coloring! SO lucky!! I chose complimentary papers from the pack for each layer and even went with the white pattern paper as my top layer. I love the soft print in the background... it just works so well with this beautiful image!

This beautiful girl was a dream to color up! So fun... I really enjoyed it!
Here's my list of Copic markers for coloring up this image:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11, E04
Hair ~ E43, E44, E49
Holly & Berries ~ YG11, G24, G46, R20, R14, R27
Dress / Shoes ~ BG000, BG15, BG13, BG18, R20, R14, R27
Polka Dot Gift ~ RV00, RV02, RV06, RV66, Y11, Y06, Y15, Y28
Pink Gifts ~ RV10, RV21, RV14, Y11, Y06, Y15, Y28
Green Gift ~ YG11, G24, G46, R20, R14, R27

The sketch only calls for one layer but I wanted to use both the red and teal papers so I decided to use the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} from Unity to cut my layers so that I could have some of both papers in my background layers... it really helps to bring the reds and teals from the colored image to the forefront. And then the banner with the ornaments helps to coordinate all the colors together. I added a few enamel dots from the Coffee Enamel Dots from Echo Park Paper Co. to finish off my card. It just worked out perfectly! Love when that happens!

Here's another look at this month's {BYSHC} Sketch 23! I hope you've found some inspiration for the sketch or maybe just been inspired to make a Christmas card. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing cards from the design team over on the  {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! I'll be back next week with one last Christmas card using this fun sketch!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 23 ~ Christmas Watercolor Panels ~ Taylored Expressions

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with my weekly Christmas card using the current sketch from the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group and this time I needed something quick! I was going to look through my journaling cards real quick but I couldn't find them. One of these days I'll get my studio unpacked and organized! LOL! While I was looking though I found a package of Christmas watercolor panels from Taylored Expressions that I've had in my stash for awhile. I thought I'd give one of the panels a try... and it made for a pretty quick card!

It has been ages since I've done any watercoloring so it was fun to pull out my ZIGs and play. I colored up the panel with a few basic colors... greens for the trees, red for the sentiment and a touch of blue to highlight the snow. Super easy and quick!

For my background I ran a piece of Real Red card stock from Stampin' Up! through my Big Shot with an embossing folder called Snowflake Trim by Darice. I swiped my Sugar Cube White Pigment ink pad from Taylored Expressions lightly over the embossed card stock giving the snowflakes a hint of white.

I trimmed the background to 5-1/8 x 3-7/8" and adhered it to a True Black card stock mat measuring 5-1/4 x 4". I cut a couple flags from the Real Red and True Black card stock. I punched the corners of the watercolored panel with a corner punch and then popped it up on the snowflake background with foam tape. I added a piece of foam tape just above the panel and adhered my little flags with some liquid glue and the foam tape. I adhered the entire panel to a Real Red card front measuring 5-1/2 x 4-1/4" and then I adhered the card front to a white A2 top fold card base that I turned on it's side. Done! I think it turned out pretty cute and it definitely has elements of the sketch.

Speaking of the sketch... here's another look at this month's {BYSHC} Sketch 23! I hope you've found some inspiration for the sketch or maybe just been inspired to make a Christmas card. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the  {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! I'll be back next week with my weekly Christmas card using this fun sketch!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 23 ~ Deck the Halls ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new Sketch Challenge over at Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers and I have a sweet Christmas card to share using a beautiful stamp from Unity Stamp Co. called Deck the Halls. I've been wanting to ink up this stamp for quite awhile but it's been too large to work with our sketches so I chose a sketch that would work with this stamp and other large stamps. I can't wait to see the creations made this month with this sketch design... I think it'll be fun!

I paired up this beautiful stamp with the Christmas paper pad from Carta Bella Paper Co. I've only used these papers once or twice and they are gorgeous!! I really wanted to use as much of it as I could. The banners in this sketch really allow for you to showcase your pretty pattern papers.

I stamped the cute Deck the Halls couple with Gina K. Design Black Amalgam ink and colored it up with the following Copic Markers:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11, E04
Hair ~ E51, E55, E57, E59
Hats ~ YG11, G24, G46, C00, C2, N2, N4, N6
Boots ~ E51, E55, E57, N2, N4, N6
Her Clothes ~ R20, R27, R59, B91, B95, B97
His Clothes ~ R20, R14, R27, YG11, G24, G46, B95, B97, B99
Glove ~ N2, N4, N6
Tree ~ YG11, G24, G46, E55, E57, E59
Ground ~ C00, C2
Outline ~ N0, N1

I trimmed my copic colored panel down to 3-5/8 x 4-7/8" cutting off a bit of the trunk because I wanted to show more of the pretty holly pattern paper. I adhered my pattern paper banner strips to the panel and then trimmed off the excess. I cut a black card stock mat measuring 3-3/4 x 5" and adhered the panel to it. And then I adhered the mat panel to the holly pattern paper card front measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2". I then adhered the entire card front to a white A2 top fold card base. I added a few touches of white gel pen to the tree and a little bit to his glove. I stamped the sentiment and trimmed it and then adhered it to a black mat. I wanted to add a little something under the sentiment... it just seemed like a lot of empty space so I added a few red rhinestones from the Rainbow Bling rhinestones from Gina Marie Designs.

Here's a look at the fun {BYSHC} Sketch 23 for the month of June!
I hope you'll join us and play along with the sketch! If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the  {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! Since this new sketch is starting mid-week I'm going to count this card as my weekly Christmas card and I'll be back June 10th with my regular weekly Christmas card using this fun new sketch!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky hugs,
Crystal
