Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Merry & Bright Mug ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back for Day 2 of the Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party with another cute holiday card! It was so much fun checking out the inspiration shared yesterday for the start of the Linky Party. So many wonderful cards! Today I'm sharing a card using a sweet digital stamp from our sweet return Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs called Merry & Bright Mug.

I started by inserting the Merry & Bright Mug printout sheet into a Word Document and then I cropped the mug. I combined it with a couple more images {you'll see them later this week} and printed the document. I colored up the beautiful mug with my Copic markers and fussy cut the mug. I used a Memento Tuxedo Black marker to color the edges of fussy cutting. This technique helps the fussy cutting look all nice and neat. I added foam tape from our awesome Sponsor Therm O Web called iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white) to the back of the mug and set it aside.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used to color up this cute mug:
Mug: R20, R14, R46
Holly: R20, R14, R46, YG11, G24, G46
Whipped Cream: C00, C1, C3
Candy Cane: R00, R20, R46, C00, C1, C3
Leaf: YG11, G24, G46

I'm also playing along with the Color Hues Challenge today! Red and Green are so perfect for a Christmas card! This fun challenge is open until July 29th, if you want to play along!

To create my background I used the awesome A2 Card Layout Die Set from our wonderful Sponsor Newton's Nook Designs. I trimmed four pieces of pattern paper from the beautiful Christmas Time 6x6 Paper Pad, also from Newton's Nook Designs. I secured them two at a time to the back of the die using washi tape. The washi tape was also cut by the die but that's ok. I have so much washi tape. I don't mind using it.

I adhered all my layers together using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O WebI adhered the card front of Real Red card stock from Stampin' Up to a white A2 top fold card base turned on its side for a landscape card. I removed the backing from the foam tape on the back of the mug and popped up the mug on the card. I then added three green enamel dots from the Red & Green Foil Mirror Enamel Dots from our lovely Sponsor Gina Marie Designs to finish off the card.

Love Newton's Nook Designs products as much as I do? Be sure to check out the current Inky Paws Challenge for details on how to win a $20 store credit to add some NND products to your stash!

Woohoo!! I'm so excited to have another card done for my stash! If you haven't already, stop by the Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! Have a fantastic day!

Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Believe in the Magic, Santa ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm so excited to share my first card for the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party hosted by the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group!! This is our fourth annual Spring Linky Party!! Woohoo! Just a note... though it has Spring in the name the linky party is focused on Christmas and wintry holiday cards. It's a great way to get ahead on those holiday cards to relieve some of the stress later on in the year during the holidays. I am super excited to add a bunch of cards to my Christmas card stash and I sure hope that you'll join in the fun.

For my first card I'm featuring the super cute Believe in the Magic, Santa Digital Stamp from our wonderful return Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs. I adore this digi stamp! I paired this sweet stamp up with the Santa's Workshop 6x6 Paper Pad from Carta Bella. I adhered all my layers to a white A2 top fold card base using the iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from our lovely Sponsor Therm O Web.

I combined and resized the Santa digi and the sentiment in a Word Document and printed it off. I then die cut it using a large stitched circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from our fabulous Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. And then I Copic colored Santa using a bunch of Copic markers. Here's a quick list:

Skin: E000, E11, E11, R20
Hair / Beard: C00, C1, C3, Colorless Blender
Santa's Suit: R20, R14, R46, C00, C1, C3
Belt ~ N1, N3, N5, Y11, Y15
Gloves / Santa's Bag: N1, N3, N5
Bow: R20, R14, R46

I adhered my papers to a 5 x 3-3/4" piece of Real Red card stock from Stampin' Up. I adhered my panel to a 5-1/2 x 4-1/4" piece of pattern paper and then adhered the panel to a white A2 top fold card base that I turned on its side. I covered the back of the circle with foam tape and then popped it up on the card. And I finished off the card using a few enamel dots from the coordinating Santa's Workshop Enamel Dots from Carta Bella.

My card was inspired by the {BYSHC} Sketch 41 that we used back in January. This sketch has definitely become a favorite! Have you visited the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group? We host a fun sketch challenge each month to inspire our holiday cardmaking all year long. I love revisiting the sketches and will likely be sharing a few during the Linky Party.

I'm also a Sponsor for the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I have a wonderful prize set aside for one lucky winner. No picture this time. That way it'll be a fun surprise! For a chance to win my fun prize make a Christmas card and link it up to the linky party blog post on the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers blog. Stop by the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration that's already been shared from our Sponsors and the {BYSHC} Design Team!! I'm so excited to continue building my stash of holiday cards for 2024... I hope you'll join in the fun and play along! Let's build our stash of holiday cards this week!! Have an ink-tastic day!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 ~ Let it Snow Globe ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm sharing one last card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a sweet Christmas card featuring the adorable snowman in a snow globe from the Let it Snow Globe Digital Stamp Set from Angie Blom Digital Designs! We're changing things up for 2024 and Angie Blom Digital Designs is Sponsoring our {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41!! Angie has generously offered up two $15 e-gift certificates in Canadian currency for our Sketch 41 prizes! Woohoo! Thanks again, Angie!

I started my card by combining and resizing the digital stamps from the Let it Snow Globe digi set in a Word Document. I printed them off onto white card stock. I once again remembered to pick out my pattern papers before coloring which made it so much easier when having to pick colors to color up my snow globe.

I paired up the Let it Snow Globe digi stamp with the Milk & Cookies Paper Pad from Doodlebug Designs. The red mat for my top pattern papers is Real Red card stock from Stampin' Up and measures 5 x 3-3/4". The trees paper measures 3-1/8 x 1-1/4". The Merry Christmas paper measures 3-1/8 x 2-1/8". And the hearts paper measures 1-1/2 x 3-1/2". The star paper in the background measures 5-1/2 x 4-1/4". All my measurements are from the {BYSHC} Sketch 41 except for the red mat... I went with a smaller piece than the sketch calls for.

I colored the snow globe with some Copic markers. Fussy cut it on the line and colored the edge of the fussy cut image with a Memento Tuxedo Black markers to make the fussy cutting look nice and neat. The snow globe needed something so I decided to die cut a circle from Real Red card stock using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I just adhered all the layers to a white A2 card base. No foam tape or anything for this but I did add a couple scraps under the left side of the sentiment so it'll lay flat on the card.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

Snowman / Snow / Snowflakes: B000, B00
Hat: N0, N1, N3, N5
Holly: R20, R14, R46, YG11, G14
Scarf: BG000, BG11, BG32
Ornament / Button Hearts: R20, R14, R46
Snow Globe Base: E21, E23, E25
Twine: RV10, RV13

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 for the month of January. I am loving this sketch! So many possibilities depending on the papers you use. And the entries this month have been so amazing! I hope you'll join us and play along with the sketch! {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 ~ Love Owl with Stitched Star Background ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with another Christmas card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 for the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group. Today I'm featuring the brand new Love Owl and Stitched Star Background digital stamps from our wonderful challenge sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs.

I combined and resized the Stitched Star Background and the Love Owl in a Word Document. I also added a sentiment from the Christmas Shop digital stamps and resized it. I ink smooshed a piece of white card stock using Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, and Wild Honey Distress Oxide inks being sure to keep the inks on the top half of the card stock. Dried the background with my heat tool and then I printed the combination of digital stamps onto the card stock.

I trimmed the Stitched Star Background and adhered it to a 5-1/4 x 4" piece of True Black card stock and then adhered my panel to a Stampers Select White card stock A2 card base. I colored up the sweet and adorable Love Owl using a handful of Copic markers. I fussy cut it and cleaned up the lines by coloring the edges with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Owl: E53, E55, E57, BG0000, BG000, BG02, YR15, YR27, Y11, Y15
Scarf: Y11, Y15, Y35
Branch: E53, E55
Pine Needles: YG11, G24, G46
Berries: R20, R14

I die cut a piece of vellum card stock using the X Stitched Circle die from Gina Marie Designs. I trimmed off the bottom edge of the die cut circle which I think grounds the owl. It just didn't look right with the complete circle. I adhered the owl to the vellum circle and then adhered the circle to the card by just applying glue behind the owl. I trimmed up the sentiment and adhered it to the card. To finish off the card I added a few enamel dots.

Here's another look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 for the month of January. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 ~ A Gift Just for You ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a sweet Christmas card featuring the adorable snowman from the A Gift Just For You Digital Stamp Set from Angie Blom Digital Designs! We're changing things up for 2024 and Angie Blom Digital Designs is Sponsoring our {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41!! Angie has generously offered up two $15 e-gift certificates in Canadian currency for our Sketch 41 prizes! Woohoo! Thanks so much, Angie!

I started my card by combining and resizing the digital stamps in the A Gift Just For You digi set in a Word Document. I printed them off onto white card stock. Now, I did actually pick out my pattern papers before coloring my image... yay for remembering! But I didn't realize how bright the white focal piece would be with these papers. I think if I redid this one I'd use a Very Vanilla card stock from Stampin' Up or Vintage Cream card stock from Papertrey Ink to print of my digital stamps.

All of my paper layers are from the Authentique Snowfall Collection 6x6 paper pad. The red text pattern paper measures 5 x 3-3/4". The blue tree and snowman paper measures 3-1/8 x 1-1/4". The purple snowflakes paper measures 3-1/8 x 2-1/8". And the snowman paper measures 1-1/2 x 3-1/2". All my measurements are from the {BYSHC} Sketch 41... except the red text pattern paper. I went with a smaller piece than the sketch calls for.

Next I die cut the snowman using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. And then I colored it up with the following Copic markers:

Snowman: C00, C1, C3, YR21, YR15, R20, R14
Snow: C00, C1, C3
Hat: C00, C1, C3,
Scarf: BV0000, BV11, B21, B97, B99
Red Gift: R20, R14, YG11, G24
Green Gift: YG11, G24, R14
Blue Gift: B21, B97, B99, Y15, Y28
Banner: R20, R14

I added foam tape to the back of the die cut focal circle and popped it up on the card to finish it off.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 for the month of January. I am loving this sketch! So many possibilities depending on the papers you use. I'm excited to see what everyone does with it. I hope you'll join us and play along with the sketch! Falling for the Holidays 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Holiday Birds ~ RAM Stamps

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a cute holiday card for the last day of the Falling for the Holidays 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party! My card for today features a mix of products from a few of our wonderful Linky Party Sponsors, but it features the adorable Holiday Birds from Sponsor RAM Stamps. These birdies are just too cute!

I resized this adorable digital stamp in a Word Document so that it would fit nice for a slimline card. It measures approximately 6 x 1.75". I also added the sentiment from the Christmas Joy Girl digital stamp from Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs. I am loving the font used for the sentiments in this set. I printed these off the other when I print off the wreath for the card I shared yesterday.

I paired up these cute birdies with the Christmas Time 6x6 Paper Pad from Sponsor Newton's Nook Designs. My favorite trick for using 6x6 papers on a slimline card is to split a 6 x 3-1/2" piece of the pattern paper in half to 3 x 3-1/2". In this case, it's the holly and berry pattern paper. I used a scrap of the striped paper for the center of the panel. And then I adhered the holly and berry paper over top on the right and left side of a white slimline card base measuring 8-1/2 x 7"; scored at 3-1/2" using the Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue from our Sponsor Bearly Art.

I die cut the adorable birdies using the second largest die from the Wonky Stitched Slimline die from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs. I popped it up on the card using a bunch of foam strips from the Bearly Art Cubies: The Polar Collection from Sponsor Bearly Art. Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used to color up these adorable birds.

Birds: B0000, B000, B02, Y06, Y15, Y38
Holly & Berries / Hat / Scarf: YG11, G24, G46, R20, R14, R46
Lights: R20, R14, Y06, Y15, YG11, G24, B000, B02, V000, V12, V17, E21, E23, E25, N3
Outline: BG000

I have had SO much fun playing along with the Falling for the Holidays 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party! I hope that you've been inspired to make a few Christmas cards to relieve some of the holiday stress. Falling for the Holidays 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Christmas Joy Girl ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm so excited to share another holiday card for day 7 of the Falling for the Holidays 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! Today I'm featuring the wonderful Christmas Joy Girl digital stamps from Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs. I snatched up this beautiful set of digital stamps during Angie's fabulous 40% OFF sale! I saw a couple lovely samples using the gorgeous wreath and I cased the design.

I resized the digital stamp in a Word Document and then I printed it off {along with some other fun digis that I may be sharing soon!}. I trimmed my paper and die cut the wreath using the largest die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} from Unity. And then I colored it up with the following Copic markers:

Ribbon: Y06, Y15, Y38
Holly Leaves: YG11, G24, G46
Berries: R20, R14, R46

I also added a touch of white to each berry using a white Sakura gelli roll pen.

I trimmed a card front of Real Red card stock from Stampin' Up and adhered my layers using the Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue from our Sponsor Bearly Art. I am really loving the fine tip that came with THE MINI glue. I had no idea that it would arrive with two different tips and a top to close it. Such a smart product! I feel like I've been under a rock missing out on this one. LOL

I adhered the card front to a white A2 top fold card base. To finish off the card, I trimmed the sentiment that I had printed off with the wreath. I cut a fishtail on the one end and popped up the sentiment on the card using Bearly Art Cubies: The Polar Collection foam squares from our Sponsor Bearly Art.

Just a couple more days to play along with the Falling for the Holidays 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party. Be sure to head over to Angie Blom Digital Designs to check out the 40% OFF sale! And then stop by Bearly Art... I can't be the only one who wasn't familiar with this brand... I am loving it!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 37 ~ Puggable ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a Christmas card using an adorable digital stamp from Angie Blom Digital Designs called Puggable. Probably THE cutest digital stamp set ever!

A fairly simple card for Sketch 37. Some fun paper layers using a cute pattern paper from Doodlebug Designs called Candy Cane Lane. I adore the colors in these papers and just had to use them for my card.

I cut the blue pattern paper to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2" and the tree pattern paper is just a 1/4" smaller measuring at 4 x 5-1/4". I adhered these layers together and then adhered them to a white A2 top fold card base that I turned on it's side. The card base measures 4-1/4 x 11" and it's scored at 5-1/2".

I inserted the pup, sentiment and snowflake all into a Word Document and resized everything. I combined the sentiment with the pup digi. I also changed the color of the snowflake to a nice green. It coordinates nicely with the greens in the pattern paper. And also ties in all the colors since I only used blue, red, and white for the pups hat and scarf.

I die cut the snowflake using a circle die in the Wonky Stitched Circle dies from Gina Marie Designs. I die cut the pup using the Slash Stitched Round Rectangle die, also from Gina Marie Designs. I trimmed off the top of the panel for the pup and adhered it to the card. I popped up the snowflake with foam tape. Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used to color up the

Pup ~ W0, W1, W3, W5, W7
Hat ~ BG000, BG01, BG15, C00, C1, C3
Scarf ~ R20, R14, R27, C00, C1, C3, BG000, BG01, BG15
Edge ~ C00, C1, C3

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 37 for the month of September. I flipped the sketch for my card and used a smaller circle. I love this sketch because the circle could be the focal piece or the rectangle. The variations are endless! I hope you'll join us and play along with the sketch! If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog!

Christmas in July 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Blessed Angel with Unique Flakes ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with my sixth card for the Christmas in July 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party! My card today features a mix of products from just two of our linky party Sponsors. I used two stunning digital stamps from our return Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs. Blessed Angel and Unique Flakes... SO gorgeous! And even more so together! I also used the Deckle & Stitches Nesting Dies from Sponsor Unity Stamp Co.

I absolutely LOVE blues with snowflakes! I ink smooshed a half sheet of card stock measuring 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" using Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks leaving some white on the sheet. I dried my ink smooshed card panel completely with my heat tool and then ran it through my printer printing off the gorgeous Unique Flakes digi stamp. While I was ink smooshing the half sheet I also ink smooshed a piece of Distress Watercolor Paper from Tim Holtz. I die cut my snowflake background using the largest die from the Deckle & Stitches Nesting Dies from Unity. I added a bit of sparkle to the background by splattering some Liquid Pixie Dust from Inkon3. I dried the background again and then I adhered my snowflake background to the watercolor ink smooshed background.

I adore this gorgeous angel digi stamp called Blessed Angel. It's one of my favorites for Christmas. In fact, I used it last year for a pretty mini slimline card and I still had the Word Document saved in my files so I printed her off again for this card. Here's a quick list of the Copic Markers I used:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11, E04
Hair ~ E95, E97, E19
Flowers ~ B0000, B02, B04, B34, B37
Leaves ~ YG11, G24
Dress ~ C00, C1, C3

I fussy cut the angel leaving a bit of a white border and I trimmed the sentiment. I then adhered them together and added a bunch of 3D Foam Squares from Sponsor Therm O Web. I then removed the backing and popped the angel and sentiment up on the card. Love the dimension that it gives the card! I finished off the card by adding a few water droplet beads from the July 2023 Whit Kit from Unity Stamp Co.

Be sure to stop by Angie Blom Digital Designs and check out all the awesome Christmas digital stamps on sale 40% OFF - no code required. Woohoo!! And if you haven't already, stop by the Christmas in July 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! Spring into Christmas 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Christmas Mice ~ Rachelle Anne Miller Stamps

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 3 of the Spring into Christmas 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I'm excited to bring you another sweet card that I've made to add to my Christmas stash! This time I played with the super cute Christmas Mice Digital Stamp from our Brand New Sponsor Rachelle Anne Miller Stamps!! I just adore Rachelle Anne Miller's cute digital stamps!! And she has wonderful bundles on her website too... including a few Christmas bundles! Eeep! You've got to check it out.

Aren't the Christmas Mice just so adorable?! They were so fun to color too. I actually paired them up with a sentiment from our return Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs. The sentiment that came with the sweet mice wasn't quite what I wanted for my mini slimline card so I cropped the image in a Word document and inserted a cute sentiment from the Let's Be Merry Digital Stamp set.

I die cut the sentiment using the largest die from the Wonky Mini Slimline dies from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs being sure that the sentiment was close to the left side of the die and there was enough room for the cute mice that I cut out with the second largest circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used to color up this cute digi stamp:

Mice ~ N0, N2, N4, R00, R20
Jacket ~ BG11, BG32, BG72, R20, R14, R27
Skirt / Bow ~ R20, R14, R27
Tree ~ G000, YG11, G24, G46
Star Topper ~ Y11, Y06, Y15, Y35
Candle ~ Y11, Y06, Y15, Y35
Stand ~ BG000, BG72, C00, C1, C3
Ground ~ C00, C1, C3

I paired up this cute image with the beautiful Knit Picky Winter 6x6 petite paper pack from Return Sponsor Lawn Fawn! I love that I could use products from five of our wonderful Sponsors on one card! Makes my heart happy! To finish off the card I used three enamel dots from the Peacock Clear with Color enamel dots from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs. They aren't Christmassy but they were the perfect green enamel dots with the tree and the papers in the background.

Before you leave, be sure to stop by Rachelle Anne Miller Stamps... as I mentioned above she has the sweetest stamps and she has amazing bundles so you can purchase more than one set for a great price! Woohoo!! And if you haven't already, stop by the Spring into Christmas 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! I have really been enjoying the cards being shared so far!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.
