VALLENFYRE - FEAR THOSE WHO FEAR HIM

Vallenfyre é uma banda que veio para ficar marcada. Para aqueles que ainda não conhecem eles, o som executado por essa banda é um pouco diferente feito pela Paradise Lost (Gregor Mackintosh) e My Dying Bride (Hamish Hamilton Glencross) e sim, uma mistura profunda de death metal, doom e crust e isso me contagiou de tal forma que a Vallenfyre se tornou uma das minhas bandas favoritas neste últimos sete anos. "Fear Those Who Fear Him" é terceiro álbum da Vallenfyre e está fodido pra caralho. Nos registros anteriores, tudo era muito sombrio, porém em "Fear Those Who Fear Him" isso está mais intenso e cabal e você irá ouvir guitarras serra-elétricas intercalando com melodias fúnebres e belas, baixo poluído, bateria da morte e vocais guturais tenebrosos, onde a velocidade e a cadência dão ritmo ao caos, resultando em uma energia negra poderosa. As minhas faixas favoritas são "Messiah", "An Apathetic Grave", "Nihilist", "Amongst the Filth", "Kill All Your Masters", "The Mercilees Tide", "Dead World Breathes" e "Soldier of Christ". "Fear Those Who Fear Him" é um excelente álbum e isso é mais um degrau conquistado pela Vallenfyre, sendo um dos melhores registros de 2017. Vallenfyre is a band that has come to be marked. For those who do not yet know them, the sound of this band is different than Paradise Lost (Gregor Mackintosh) and My Dying Bride (Hamish Hamilton Glencross) and yes, a deep mix of death metal, doom and crust and this has infected me in such a way that Vallenfyre has become one of my favorite bands in the last seven years. "Fear Those Who Fear Him" is Vallenfyre's third album and that's really fucking amazing. In the previous records everything was very grim, but in "Fear Those Who Fear Him" it's more intense, and you will hear buzzsaw guitars interspersed with funeral sounds and beautiful melodies, bass polluted, drums of death and guttural abyssal voices, where speed and cadence give rise to chaos, resulting in a powerful black energy. My favorite tracks are "Messiah", "An Apathetic Grave", "Nihilist", "Amongst the Filth", "Kill All Your Masters", "The Merciless Tide", "Dead World Breathes" and "Soldier of Christ". "Fear Those Who Fear Him" is an excellent album and this is another step taken by Vallenfyre, being one of the best records of 2017. Cover art by Hal Rotter (Plague Widow, Rotting Graphics). Nova banda de Scoot (DooM, Extinction of Mankind). Vallenfyre executa um death metal/doom metal bem arrastado e denso. Os outros membros da banda são: Gregor Mackintosh (Paradise Lost) nos vocais e guitarra, Hamish Glencross (My Dying Bride) na guitarra, Mully na guitarra e Adrian Erlandsson (At The Gates, Paradise Lost) na bateria. Esse álbum é execelente! 

This is the new band that Scoot plays (DooM, Extinction of Mankind). Vallenfyre performs a death metal/doom metal well dragged and dense. The other members of the band are: Gregor Mackintosh (Paradise Lost) on vocals and guitar, Hamish Glencross (My Dying Bride) on guitar, Mully on guitar and Adrian Erlandsson (At The Gates, Paradise Lost) on drums. This album is awesome!

O que esperar de uma banda que tem como membros Gregor Mackintosh (vocal e guitarra - Paradise Lost), Hamish Hamilton Glencross (guitarra - My Dying Bride), Scoot (baixo - DooM, Alehammer, Extinction of Mankind e Hellkrusher) e Adrian Erlandsson (bateria - At The Gates, Brujeria, Paradise Lost e The Haunted)? Coisa boa, óbvio! Pois os caras tocam/tocaram em bandas consagradas dentro do metal e do hardcore/crustcore. Mesmo você não gostando das outras bandas mencionadas em que os membros estão ou estiveram, o som da Vallenfyre é foda e isso foi comprovado no seu primeiro lançamento chamado "A Fragile King". Agora estamos diante do segundo full-length com o nome de "Splinters" que é mais brutal ainda que o seu primeiro álbum. "Splinters" é um álbum pesado tanto musicalmente como liricamente. Na parte sonora, a Vallenfyre toca death metal nervoso e sem piedade e com influência doom metal. Distorção soco na cara ala buzzsaw, na qual foi colocado tudo no talo, tendo como resultado um terremoto de magnitude máxima. Na parte lírica, o abismo é certeiro, onde o vazio, a morte, o ódio, a rebelião e a negação de cristo se fazem presente nesse conteúdo explícito. Mesmo sendo um álbum sem nenhuma novidade (você esperava por isso?), "Splinters" é do caralho. Death Metal a moda antiga, feito pra quem curte mesmo essa porra.

What can you expect from a band whose members are Gregor Mackintosh (vocals and guitar - Paradise Lost), Hamish Hamilton Glencross (guitar - My Dying Bride), Scoot (bass - DooM, Alehammer, Extinction of Mankind and Hellkrusher) and Adrian Erlandsson (drums - At The Gates, Brujeria, Paradise Lost and The Haunted)? Good music, of course! The guys play/played in consecrated bands of metal and hardcore/crustcore scene. Even you don't like the other bands mentioned in which members are or have been playing, the music of Vallenfyre is great and this was proved in their first release called "The Fragile King". Now we are on the second full-length under the name of "Splinters" which is more brutal than their first album. "Splinters" is a heavy album both musically and lyrically. In the audio part, the Vallenfyre plays death metal (nervous and mercilessly) with doom metal influence. The guitar distortion is punched in the face (buzzsaw guitar pedal), which was placed in all very loud, resulting in an earthquake of maximum magnitude. In the lyrical part, the abyss is the reality, where the empty, death, hatred, rebellion and denial of Christ are made present in this explicit content. Even being an album without any new (you really expect that?), "Splinters" is an excellent album. Old school death metal made for those who really enjoys it.
