WARCOLLAPSE - DESERTS OF ASH

Deserts of Ash is the 2019 album released by Warcollapse, succeeding the spectacular Defy of 2007, however they released in 2011 the cover songs EP entitled Crap, Scrap And Unforgivable Slaughter Vol.2. Deserts of Ash is a brutal, violent and straight to the point album, following the characteristics of all the records that have marked Warcollapse over the years. Of the five excellent tracks, I have to highlight the whole lyrical part, as it represents exactly what is happening in the world right now, a wake-up call to governments that rule only for some, populism, patriotism, selfishness, elitism, lies of imperialism, fake news, mass manipulation, alienation and deforestation/destruction of the environment (a note: August 10, 2019, 'Fire Day' - the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest has begun its process of overburning [deserts of ash] by the big landowners with the endorsement of the country's president in the name of greed and economy, disrespecting nature, the native peoples who inhabit the region and humanity as a whole). In this way, Stiv (Visions of War) perfectly captured the idea of the album and his art exemplifies it very well. Deserts of Ash was recorded and mixed at Wolfden Studio by Jocke (Wolfbrigade) and mastered by Brad (From Ashes Rise and Lebanon) at Audiosiege. Warcollapse is one of my favorite bands and I may be overly excited to talk about the band, but I say Deserts of Ash is one of the best records of 2019. Badass! Listen loudly and think about it! Deserts of Ash é o álbum de 2019 lançado pela Warcollapse, sucedendo o espetacular Defy de 2007, entretanto eles lançaram em 2011 o EP só de covers intitulado Crap, Scrap And Unforgivable Slaughter Vol.2. Deserts of Ash é um álbum brutal, violento, curto e grosso, seguindo as características de todos os registros que marcaram a Warcollapse através dos anos. Das cinco excelentes faixas, eu tenho que destacar toda a parte lírica, pois representa exatamente o que está acontecendo no mundo neste momento, um sinal de alerta para governos que governam apenas para alguns, populismo, patriotismo, egoísmo, elitismo, mentiras do imperialismo, fake news, manipulação das massas, alienação e desmatamento/destruição do meio ambiente (uma observação: 10 de agosto de 2019, o 'Dia do Fogo' - a Floresta Amazônica brasileira iniciou o seu processo de super queimadas [deserto de cinzas] feito pelos grandes latifundiários com o aval do presidente desse país em nome da ganância e economia, desrespeitando a natureza, os povos nativos que habitam a região e a humanidade como um todo). De modo exato, Stiv (Visions of War) captou perfeitamente a ideia do álbum e sua arte exemplifica muito bem isso. Deserts of Ash foi gravado e mixado no Wolfden Studio por Jocke (Wolfbrigade) e masterizado por Brad (From Ashes Rise e Lebanon) no Audiosiege. Eu sou suspeito para falar da Warcollapse, já que é uma das minhas bandas favoritas, mas digo que Deserts of Ash é um dos melhores registros de 2019. Fodido! Escute alto e reflita! WARCOLLAPSE - CRAP, SCRAP AND UNFORGIVABLE SLAUGHTER VOL. 2 [EP]

Dando continuidade a "Crap, Scrap And Unforgivable Slaughter" lançado pela primeira vez em 2003, a Warcollapse lançou a segunda versão em 2011 e digo que é um excelente EP de covers de bandas hardcore/punk nórdicas. Purrkur Pillnikk (Islândia), Missbrukarna (Suécia), Bannlyst (Noruega), War of Destruction (Dinamarca), Rattus (Finlândia) e são as bandas que estão presentes neste registro e suas canções estão em versões crust/crustcore. Foda demais!

Following on from "Crap, Scrap And Unforgivable Slaughter" released for the first time in 2003, Warcollapse released the second version in 2011 and I say it is an excellent EP of covers songs of Nordic hardcore/punk bands. Purrkur Pillnikk (Iceland), Missbrukarna (Sweden), Bannlyst (Norway), War of Destruction (Denmark) and Rattus (Finland) are the bands that are present in this record and their songs are in crust/crustcore versions. Badass!
