Este single foi o último lançamento da Striborg em 2016. A faixa é uma mescla de depressive suicidal black metal com elementos atmosféricos e ambiente. Rubus fruticosus é vulgarmente conhecida como amora (amora-silvestre). 

This single was the last Striborg release in 2016. The track is a mix of depressive suicidal black metal with atmospheric elements and ambience. Rubus fruticosus is commonly known as blackberry (mulberry).

"Esta é a versão de estúdio do conjunto original que tocou ao vivo no show realizado na MONA para a abertura da exposição Matthew Barney em novembro de 2014. Não é um álbum de ambient oficialmente lançado pela Striborg como alguns podem pensar. As primeiras cinco faixas são todas de dark ambient e a última faixa é uma longo caos power electronics." - Sin Nanna 

Tem em vista esse resumo, este registro é indicado pra quem curte Beherit ("H418ov21.C" e "Electric Doom Synthesis" era) e Mortiis (ambient e darkwave era). "Spiritual Deprivation" não é um registro black metal. 

"This is the studio version of the original live set performed at MONA for the Matthew Barney exhibition opening in November of 2014. It is not an officially planned ambient album by Striborg as some may think. The first five tracks are all dark ambient and the last track is a long power electronics track. No multi tracking or backing was used, only stereo on the first five tracks and mono! On the last track." - Sin Nanna

STRIBORG - THIS SUFFOCATING EXISTENCE

Eu conheci a Striborg através de uma música chamada "Sin Nanna" lançada pela Sunn O))) em 2005 (álbum "Black One"). Claro, Sin Nanna é o homem responsável pela Striborg. E quando eu escutei a Striborg eu percebi uma grande semelhança com a Xasthur (coincidência a parte, Malefic é um dos convidados especiais neste álbum lançado pela Sunn O))) em 2005). Ok, "This Suffocating Existence" foi lançado em 2015 e é álbum bem minimalista, onde o black metal feito por Sin Nanna é drasticamente mórbido e melancólico. Oito faixas que relatam a noite, a misantropia, as florestas, as depressões e a morte. Indicado para admiradores da Xasthur e depressive suicidal black metal. 

I discovered Striborg through a song called "Sin Nanna" released by Sunn O))) in 2005 ("Black One" album). Of course, Sin Nanna is the man responsible for this one man band called Striborg. When I listened to Striborg I noticed a great similarity to Xasthur (coincidence aside, Malefic is one of the special guests on this album released by Sunn O))) in 2005). Ok, "This Suffocating Existence" was released in 2015 and is very minimalist album, where the black metal made by Sin Nanna is dramatically morbid and melancholy. Eight tracks that report the night, misanthropy, forests, depression and death. This is indicated for admirers of Xasthur and depressive suicidal black metal.
