EXTINCTION REMAINS - HUMAN DISASTER NEVER ENDING

"Human Disaster Never Ending" foi lançado em 2017 e de fato, este é o melhor registro da Extinction Remains até o momento. Composto por quatro faixas, "Human Disaster Never Ending" descreve em suas letras o funeral da humanidade através da destruição do meio ambiente, desastres, ganância por dinheiro, câncer, sementes transgênicas e a vingança da natureza contra o homem. Por último, a Extinction Remains é uma excelente banda e eles estão no mesmo nível que as novas bandas americanas de death metal que vem se destacando no underground.


"Human Disaster Never Ending" was released in 2017 and in fact, this is the best record of Extinction Remains so far. Composed of four tracks, "Human Disaster Never Ending" describes in its lyrics the funeral of humanity through the destruction of the environment, disasters, greed for money, cancer, transgenic seeds and the revenge of nature against the men. Finally, Extinction Remains is an excellent band and they are on the same level as the new American death metal bands that have been standing out in the underground.

EXTINCTION REMAINS - GENETICS OF DEFEAT

A Extinction Remains foi umas das bandas que eu estava mais afim de asistir o show na última edição do festival Exhale The Sound. O power trio que tocou em BH foi composto por Arthur (baixo/vocal), Caio (guitarra) e o Hector (bateria - Martyrizer). Claro, a apresentação foi massa! "Genetics of Defeat" é mais recente lançamento da Extinction Remains e está muito bom quanto a primeira demo. Quatro faixas pesadas e podres com influências de bandas como, Bolt Thrower, Obituary e Grief. Foda! Lembrando que a banda hoje é um quarteto: Arthur Alves (baixo/vocal), Caio Lemos (guitarra), Artur Figueredo (guitarra) e Mateus Nygrom (bateria). 

Extinction Remains was one of the bands I was hoping to attend the show at the last edition of the Exhale The Sound festival. The power trio that played in Belo Horizonte was composed by Artur (bass/vocals), Caio (guitars) and Hector (drums - Martyrizer). Of course, the presentation was excellent! "Genetics of Defeat" is the latest release of Extinction Remains and is very good as the first demo. Four heavy and rotten tracks with influences from bands like, Bolt Thrower, Obituary and Grief. Badass! Remembering that the band today is a quartet: Arthur Alves (bass/vocals), Caio Lemos (guitars), Artur Figueredo (guitars) and Mateus Nygrom (drums).

EXTINCTION REMAINS - ECOLOGIC NOISE [DEMO]

Conheci essa banda recentemente, pois a Extinction Remains vai tocar na próxima edição do Exhale The Sound. Bem, eu gostei do som dessa banda. Musicalmente, a banda toca death metal com influência doom, porém as músicas são bem curtas e diretas. O nome da demo remete a idéia lírica da banda. Da hora! 

I first heard this band recently because Extinction Remains is one of the attractions of Exhale The Sound festival. Well, I like this band. Musically, the band plays death metal with doom influence but the songs are very short and direct. The name of this demo gives us the lyrical idea of the band. So cool!

EXHALE THE SOUND 2015 - EXTINCTION REMAINS

Unindo a paixão pelo som cru e pela natureza, surge em agosto de 2012 na região de Sobradinho, o trio brasiliense, Extinction Remains. Com uma demo gravada em 2013, a banda já está em estúdio para a gravação do seu primeiro EP.

Com uma proposta temática totalmente diferente do que se espera de uma banda de death ou de doom, a banda tem como foco em suas letras a questão ambiental. Autopsy, Amebix e Bolt Thrower são alguns dos mestres que direcionam o som dos caras.

Alternando momentos do mais puro death metal old school com o mais arrastado do doom, o Extinction Remains é uma banda relativamente desconhecida para muitos, mas que irá surpreender muita gente no Exhale the Sound 2015 por todo o peso e densidade contida nos sons.
