DEVIATED INSTINCT - HUSK [EP]

"Husk" é o terceiro registro da Deviated Instinct desde a sua volta em 2012, quando lançaram o EP "Liberty Crawls to the Sanctuary of Slaves". Assim, digo que "Husk" segue o mesmo princípio musical apresentado em "Liberty Crawls...", ou seja, stenchcore/crust com influências e ritmos metálicos. As letras presentes em "Husk" também merecem destaque como "Brave New Herd", que aborda e se encaixa na nova tendência mundial direitista; "We Harvest Just Shadows", a letra aborda o consumo de alimentos, sementes geneticamente modificadas, patentes, solos e as consequências desses atos (exemplos para facilitar a ideia: Cargill e Monsanto); "None Shall Mourn", uma letra de caráter niilista, na qual reflete a extinção da humanidade; e "Longpig Crawling", trata-se da luta pela sobrevivência com sofrimento e angústia, porém a morte é certa (longpig é um termo antiquado para carne humana, comido por canibais - supostamente, o termo longpig é uma tradução de uma frase usada nas ilhas do Pacífico para carne humana destinada ao consumo, na qual os habitantes nativos diziam que o gosto era semelhante a carne de porco). A gravação e mixagem ficou por conta de Bri (Doom) no 1in12 Studio, a masterização por Brad Boatright (From Ashes Rise) no Audiosiege e a capa por Mid. Em suma, mais um ótimo registro da Deviated Instinct e um dos meus favoritos de 2018. "Husk" is the third record of Deviated Instinct since its return in 2012, when they released the EP "Liberty Crawls to the Sanctuary of Slaves". So, I say that "Husk" follows the same musical principle presented in "Liberty Crawls...", that is, stenchcore/crust with influences and metallic rhythms. The lyrics in "Husk" also deserve prominence as "Brave New Herd", which addresses and fits in the new right-wing world trend; "We Harvest Just Shadows", the lyrics addresses the consumption of food, genetically modified seeds, patents, soils and the consequences of these acts (examples to facilitate the idea: Cargill and Monsanto); "None Shall Mourn", a lyrics of nihilistic character, in which it reflects the extinction of humanity; and "Longpig Crawling", it is the struggle for survival with suffering and anguish, but death is certain (longpig is an old-fashioned term for human flesh eaten by cannibals - supposedly the term longpig is a translation of a phrase used in Pacific Islands for human flesh intended for consumption, in which the native inhabitants said that the taste was similar to pork). The recording and mixing is by Bri (Doom) at the 1in12 Studio, the mastering is by Brad Boatright (From Ashes Rise) at Audiosiege and the cover art is by Mid. In short, another great record from Deviated Instinct and one of my favorites of 2018. Muito bom esse split! A Deviated Instinct voltou com tudo e neste split EP e a banda se apresenta com apenas um som chamado "End Times". A Summon The Crows volta a cena depois do bem sucedido e ótimo álbum chamado "One More For The Gallows" e neste split EP executa dois sons. A capa que ficou muito chapada foi feita pelo Mid. 

Very good this split! Deviated Instinct returned with all the claw and for the recording of this split EP the band played only one track called "End Times". Summon The Crows returns to the scene after the successful and great album called "One More For The Gallows" and in this split EP performs two songs. The cover art is great and was a work done by Mid.

DEVIATED INSTINCT - LIBERTY CRAWLS TO THE SANCTUARY OF SLAVES

Que volta sensacional!!! Sem dúvida alguma, esse EP é um dos melhores lançamentos de 2012. "Liberty Crawls to the Sanctuary of Slaves" é composto por quatro excelentes faixas, nas quais contém letras muito bem construídas. A Deviated Instinct toca stenchcore/crust, mas o som feito neste registro irá agradar também quem curte death metal e doom metal (os riffs, o ritmo e a atmosfera das músicas), criando assim novos adeptos. "Liberty Crawls..." foi gravado e mixado por Bri Doom (Studio 1In12). Capa por Mid. Pesado e essencialmente crust! Muito bom! Deviated Instinct: Snapa (baixo), Tony (bateria), Mid (guitarra e vocal) e Leggo (vocal).

What a sensational return!!! Undoubtedly this EP is one of the best releases of 2012. "Liberty Crawls to the Sanctuary of Slaves" consists of four excellent tracks, with very well made lyrics. Deviated Instinct plays stenchcore/crust, but the sound in this record will also please those who enjoy death metal and doom metal (the riffs, rhythm and atmosphere of the songs), thus creating new fans. "Liberty Crawls..." was recorded and mixed by Bri Doom (Studio 1In12). Cover art by Mid. Heavy and essentially crust! Very good!
