"...And You Will Obey Me" é o terceiro álbum da Down Among The Dead Men, banda composta pela dupla David Ingram e Rogga Johansson, além dos músicos convidados Erik Bevenrud (bateria) e Kjetil Lynghaug (guitarra). Sucedendo "Exterminate! Annihilate! Destroy!", excelente álbum lançado em 2015, "...And You Will Obey Me" segue um caminho mais voltado para o death metal, diferente do registro anterior que soa mais crust. Independente disso, faixas como "Destroy the Infinite", "Axis of Insanity", "The End of Time", "Darkness of Glass" e "Panopticon" definem esse registro que é bom.

"...And You Will Obey Me" is the third album of Down Among The Dead Men, a band composed by David Ingram and Rogga Johansson, in addition to the invited musicians Erik Bevenrud (drums) and Kjetil Lynghaug (guitar). Succeeding "Exterminate! Annihilate! Destroy!", an excellent album released in 2015, "...And You Will Obey Me" follows a path more focused on death metal, different from the previous record that sounds more crust. Regardless of that, tracks like "Destroy the Infinite", "Axis of Insanity", "The End of Time", "Darkness of Glass" and "Panopticon" define this record that is good.

Eu acho foda pra caralho essa mistura entre death metal e crust. Essa combinação explosiva deixa a música mais forte e agressiva. Sendo assim, essas são as características da Down Among The Dead Men e é claro, todos estavam ansiosos para escutar o novo álbum, já que o primeiro lançamento ficou excelente. Pois bem, "Exterminate! Annihilate! Destroy!"... Ok! O título desse álbum é a perfeita definição para qualificar este registro, pois as músicas feitas por eles exterminam, aniquilam e destroem sem piedade. Em outras palavras, "Exterminate! Annihilate! Destroy!" é muito melhor que o primeiro álbum (eu disse que este registro é excelente, veja bem). Grandes canções foram feitas para esse álbum e eu destaco as seguintes faixas: "Pyramids of Mars", "Warriors of the Deep", "War Machines", "Unearthly Child", "Tooth and Claw", "Protest and Survive" (Discharge cover – fodido!) e fechando com chave de ouro "Exterminate! Annihilate! Destroy!". Sem dúvida esse álbum vai agradar pessoas que curtem death metal, crust punk e música pesada em geral, além dos admiradores da Benediction (impossível não mencionar) e Bolt Thrower. E antes que eu me esqueça, Dave Ingram está cantando como nunca, a sua voz continua forte e gutural. A arte de capa que condiz perfeitamente com o título do álbum foi feita pelo Turkka G. Rantanen. Foda pra caralho!!!

For me, this mix of death metal and crust is excellent. This explosive combination makes the strongest and aggressive music. So, these are the characteristics of Down Among The Dead Men and of course, everyone was eager to hear the new album because the first release was excellent. Well, "Exterminate! Annihilate! Destroy!"... Ok! The title of this album is the perfect definition to qualify this record because the songs done by them exterminate, annihilate and destroy mercilessly. In other words, "Exterminate! Annihilate! Destroy!" it is much better than the first album (I said this record is excellent, don't forget). Great songs were made for this album and I highlight the following tracks: "Pyramids of Mars", "Warriors of the Deep", "War Machines", "Unearthly Child", "Tooth and Claw", "Protest and Survive" (Discharge cover - hell yeah!) and closing with a flourish "Exterminate! Annihilate! Destroy!". No doubt this album will please people who like death metal, crust punk and heavy music in general, beyond the admirers of Benediction (impossible not to mention) and Bolt Thrower. Before I forget, Dave Ingram is singing as well, the voice remains strong and guttural. The cover art which fits in perfectly with the album title is a work done by Turkka G. Rantanen. Badass!!!
