GUILLOTINE TERROR - JAPANESE SWORD

A Guillotine Terror lançou o seu sexto álbum em 2018, isso depois de onze anos do lançamento de "Kronos", na qual Kurumi (vocal) mantém-se firme na banda como o único membro original. É inegável a importância dos registros "No God", "Black Rebel Storm" e "Japanese Corruption" como obras-primas do submundo japonês nos anos 90, além é claro, dos álbuns lançados nos anos 2000. Pois bem, "Japanese Sword" segue um caminho diferentes dos demais registros, onde as músicas estão mais limpas e com uma produção melhor. Aquela sujeira e agressividade característica do passado deu lugar para um som mais voltado para o heavy metal misturado com punk. Em suma, "Japanese Sword" é um álbum até legal, mas eu prefiro todos os outros registros anteriores.

Guillotine Terror released its sixth album in 2018, eleven years after the release of "Kronos", in which Kurumi (vocals) is the only original member of the band. There is no denying the importance of "No God", "Black Rebel Storm" and "Japanese Corruption" records as masterpieces of the Japanese underground in the 1990's, and of course, the albums released in the 2000's. Well, "Japanese Sword" follows a different path from the other records, where the songs are cleaner and with a better production. That filthy and aggressive characteristic from the past has given way to a sound more focused on heavy metal mixed with punk. In short, "Japanese Sword" is a cool album, but I prefer all the previous records.

Hoje foi a primeira fez que assisti um vídeo dessa banda japonesa, pois nunca tinha encontrado nada. E digo que é simplesmente magnífico. Se tu curte cruz de cabeça pra baixo e crustcore, vai se amarrar. 22 minutos de fúria e delírio.

Today was the first time that I watched a video of this Japanese band, because I had never found anything. And I say that is simply magnificent. If you likes inverted cross and crustcore, you will like it very much. 22 minutes of fury and delirium.
