Released in 2019, Pyroclasts is the album that succeeds Life Metal which was also released in the same year. Composed of four tracks, Pyroclasts can be classified as part 2 of Life Metal. Good.

SUNN O))) - LIFE METAL

In 2012 there was a meme with a dinosaur that said: If Christian black metal is called white metal, is Christian death metal called life metal? Although the album is called Life Metal, Sunn O))) has no Christian preaching in its music and I just remembered that meme. Well, Life Metal is composed of four tracks, "Between Sleipnir's Breaths" is the only one that contains vocals and was made by Hildur Guðnadóttir. So, the other tracks follow the characteristics of Sunn O))), that is, heavy, slow and macabre guitars with a dark and murky atmosphere. Very good!

Lá pra 2012 existia um meme com um dinossauro que dizia: se black metal cristão é chamado de white metal, então o death metal cristão é chamado de life metal? Apesar do álbum se chamar Life Metal, a Sunn O))) não tem nenhum tipo de pregação cristã em seu som e apenas lembrei desse meme. Bem, Life Metal é composto por quatro faixas, sendo que "Between Sleipnir's Breaths" é a única que contém vocais e que foram feitos por Hildur Guðnadóttir. No demais, as outras faixas seguem bem as características da Sunn O))), ou seja, guitarras pesadas, lentas e macabras com atmosfera tenebrosa e negra. Muito bom!

BORIS WITH MERZBOW - GENSHO

"Gensho" significa 'fenômeno' e pode-se dizer que um fenômeno japonês este álbum. Vamos direto ao ponto então. A Boris é uma que grava e toca em vários estilos musicais e neste álbum as músicas soam mais drone. Lembrando que todas as faixas são regravações, exceto "Sometimes" cover da My Blood Valentines. Merzbow é o cara que tem o poder dos barulhos, em outra palavras, o cara provoca o caos. "Gensho" é um álbum que pode agradar muitos pessoas e desagradar outras (eu digo isso em relação ao Merzbow e este não é o meu caso). Em suma, duas bandas muito diferentes realizando a arte do barulho.

"Gensho" means 'phenomenon' and it can be said that a Japanese phenomenon this album. Let's get right to the point then. Boris is one that records and plays in various musical styles and in this album the songs sound more drone. Remembering that all tracks are re-recordings, except "Sometimes" My Blood Valentines cover song. Merzbow is the guy who has the power of the noises, in other words, the guy causes chaos. "Gensho" is an album that can please many people and displease others (I say this in relation to Merzbow and this is not my case). In short, two very different bands performing the art of noise.

BEMÔNIO - SANTO

Mais outro lançamento da Bemônio e dessa vez com o nome "Santo". Com esse título, o álbum reuni catorze faixas com nomes de santos na lingüagem portuguesa e com participações especiais em quase todos os sons, sendo que esses convidados são desconhecidos por mim, de menos a banda grindcore Besta, que fez a música base em "Aparecida", disparado o melhor barulho. Destaque para a faixa "Lázaro", algo bem na linha John Zorn, fugindo um pouco da proposta macabra sonora da Bemônio, mas que não deixa de ser noise. Doido!

Yet another release of Bemônio and this album is called "Santo". With this title, the album contains fourteen tracks with names of Catholic saints in the Portuguese language and with cameos in almost all the tracks, and these guests are unknown to me, although the Portuguese band Besta, is responsible for the track called "Aparecida" the best sound of this album. The track called "Lázaro" is somewhat similar to John Zorn, a different track of the macabre idea proposed by Bemônio, but it is a noisy music. Crazy!

Game of Thrones!!! Foi à primeira coisa que me veio à cabeça quando vi essa capa feita pela artista suíça Angela Bolliger, que de fato lembra muito o trono da série televisiva. Os caracteres chineses sobre a arte da capa significam "Guanshiyin" ou "Avalokiteśvara", um bodhisattva do leste asiático de compaixão e misericórdia. Todos esses aspectos e referências estão diretamente ou indiretamente ligados ao barulho feito pela Sunn O))) neste álbum lançado em 2015. "Kannon" é um álbum divido em três capítulos com trinta e seis minutos de duração, onde os fundadores Stephen O'Malley e Greg Anderson são os pais das cordas do destino e Attila Csihar é o locutor do caos e das trevas. Outros participantes são Oren Ambarchi, Randall Dunn, Steve Moore, Brad e Rex Ritter. Eu gostei desse álbum e você também deve ouvir esse game of drones! 

Game of Thrones!!! It was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this cover art made by Swiss artist Angela Bolliger, who indeed very reminiscent of the throne of the television series. The Chinese characters on the cover art means "Guanshiyin" or "Avalokiteśvara", an East Asian bodhisattva of compassion and mercy. All these aspects and references are directly or indirectly linked to the noise made by Sunn O))) this album released in 2015. "Kannon" is an album divided into three chapters and thirty-six minutes of duration, where the founders Stephen O'Malley and Greg Anderson are the parents of the strings of fate and Attila Csihar is the speaker of the chaos and darkness. The other participants are Oren Ambarchi, Randall Dunn, Steve Moore, Brad and Rex Ritter. I like this album and you should also hear the game of drones!

Este registro da Pig Destroyer está diferente do que costumam fazer. Contém duas faixas, a primeira se chama "Mass & Volume" com 19:05 minutos (esta música tem elementos sludge e drone) e a outra faixa se chama "Red Tar" (pesada pra caralho). Esse EP é dedicado a Pat Egan, funcionário da Relapse Records que morreu e a renda desse material será doada a família do mesmo.

This record of Pig Destroyer is different from what they usually do. With two songs, the first track is called "Mass & Volume" with 19:05 minutes (this song has elements sludge and drone) and the other track is called "Red Tar" (heavy as fuck). This record is dedicated to Pat Egan, an official of Relapse Records who died and the money raised from sales of this record will be donated to his family.
