HOLOCAUSTO - DIÁRIO DE GUERRA

Diário de Guerra was supposed to be released in 2018, but the wait is over and the long-awaited new Holocausto album has been available since 2019 via Nuclear War Now! Productions, the official year of its release. The EP War Metal Massacre of 2017 and the demo of 2018 already gave very clear signs of the rottenness, noise and destruction that would be inserted in Diário de Guerra and in fact that's it, because this album is literally killer. Diário de Guerra is simply the Campo de Extermínio part 2, since the line-up is the same and that was a legitimate rescue from the fury and chaos of the 80s, the violence and total devastation of the new sounds that characterize very well with the old Holocausto and now spreading this sonic doom again in the first decades of the new millennium. This war diary in the form of brutal noises is the purest war metal made in Brazil and is composed of twelve tracks with emphasis on "Holocausto", "Refugiados/Solução Final" (the final moments of this track resemble Atack Epiléptico - a important anarchopunk/grindnoise band from Belo Horizonte), "Zona de Conflito (Faixa de Gaza)", "Guerra Total Apocalipse", "Diário de Guerra" e "Prisioneiro". The first impression I had when looking at the cover art made by Australian Barney Fried was the soldier holding the rifle and automatically my mind guided me to Persecution Mania, an album released by Sodom in 1987, however, the drawing is rich in details and colors that this momentary association died and in it we can see something similar with the death of the Italian fascist dictator Mussolini, a mosque and a crucified guy being devoured by a hungry dog. Diário de Guerra is a badass and very loud album, in which it stands out among the most brutal and chaotic releases of 2019. Hell yeah! Holocausto: Rodrigo Führer (vocals), Valério Exterminator (guitars), Anderson Guerrilheiro (bass/vocals) and Armando Nuclear Soldier (drums).

Diário de Guerra era para ter sido lançado em 2018, porém a espera acabou e o tão esperado novo álbum do Holocausto está na praça desde 2019 via Nuclear War Now! Productions, o ano oficial do seu lançamento. O EP War Metal Massacre de 2017 e a demo de 2018 já davam sinais muito claros da podreira, barulheira e destruição que estaria inserida em Diário de Guerra e de fato é isso mesmo, pois esse álbum está literalmente matador. Diário de Guerra é simplesmente o Campo de Extermínio parte 2, já que a formação é a mesma e isso foi um resgate legítimo da fúria e do caos dos anos 80 tamanha a violência e devastação total dos novos sons que caracterizam muito bem com o velho Holocausto e agora espalhando novamente essa desgraça sonora nas primeiras décadas do novo milênio. Esse diário de guerra em forma de ruídos brutais é o mais puro war metal made in Brazil e é composto por doze faixas com destaque para "Holocausto", "Refugiados/Solução Final" (nos momentos finais dessa faixa tem uma pegada ala Atack Epiléptico), "Zona de Conflito (Faixa de Gaza)", "Guerra Total Apocalipse", "Diário de Guerra" e "Prisioneiro". A primeira impressão que tive ao olhar a capa feita pelo australiano Barney Fried foi o soldado segurando o fuzil e automaticamente a minha mente me guiou ao Persecution Mania, álbum lançado pelo Sodom em 1987, entretanto, a capa é rica em detalhes e cores que essa associação momentânea caiu por terra e nela podemos ver algo semelhante com a morte do ditador fascista italiano Mussolini, uma mesquita e um cara crucificado sendo devorado por um cão faminto. Diário de Guerra é um álbum fodido e muito barulhento, na qual se destaca entre os lançamentos mais brutais e caóticos de 2019. Foda! Born in the eighties, Armagedom is one of the warrior bands that continues to stay strong these days in the Brazilian hardcore/punk scene. Led by Javier (the only original member and lead singer on the first and classic 1986 album Silêncio Fúnebre), Armagedom once again shows its power of destruction with Em Lenta Decomposição, its 2018 album released by the German label Break The Silence. Composed of twelve tracks, Em Lenta Decomposição is an album that sounds dirty, aggressive, cruel, putrefied and metallic from beginning to end, highlighting songs like "Que A Terra Lhe Seja Leve", "Necrópole" (the best track), "Os Quatro Cavaleiros" (Força Macabra cover), "Refugiados Do Inferno", "Suicídio Coletivo", "Pesadelo Em Vida", "Contaminação Assassina" and "Extermínio Biológico" (this song has a sound vibration similar to Nuclear Frost). At last, Em Lenta Decomposição is a very good album that will please those who enjoy Armagedom, hardcore/punk, crust, metal punk and the true deathcore from the eighties. Armagedom: Renato (Vazio - vocals), Javier (guitars), Claudinei (bass) and Pedro (drums).

Surgida nos anos oitenta, a Armagedom é uma das bandas guerreiras que se mantém em plena atividade com grande ênfase nos dias de hoje no cenário hardcore/punk brasileiro. Encabeçados por Javier (o único membro original e vocalista no primeiro e clássico álbum Silêncio Fúnebre de 1986), a Armagedom mostra mais uma vez o seu poder de destruição com Em Lenta Decomposição, o seu álbum de 2018 lançado pelo selo alemão Break The Silence. Composto por doze faixas, Em Lenta Decomposição é um álbum que soa sujo, agressivo, cruel, putrefado e metálico do início ao fim, destacando assim sons como "Que A Terra Lhe Seja Leve", "Necrópole" (o melhor som), "Os Quatro Cavaleiros" (Força Macabra cover), "Refugiados Do Inferno", "Suicídio Coletivo", "Pesadelo Em Vida", "Contaminação Assassina" e "Extermínio Biológico" (com um vibração bem Nuclear Frost). Split EP envolvendo duas bandas da qual eu gosto bastante. Armagedom, clássica banda do cenário brasileiro e ainda colocando lenha na fogueira para manter a chama acesa se apresenta com duas faixas chamadas "Assim Desabam As Vidas" e "Agonia Abissal". Nuclear Frost é outra banda que se mantêm firme no underground e dispensa maiores comentários, pois o que a banda toca é realmente foda e neste registro eles também se apresentam com duas faixas chamadas "Wargasm" e "Indian Genocide". Muito foda!

Split EP involving two bands that I really like. Armagedom is a classic band from the Brazilian scene and they are still putting firewood on the fire to keep the flames burning and the band plays two tracks called "Assim Desabam As Vidas" and"Agonia Abissal". Nuclear Frost is another band that stays firm in the underground scene and dispenses with more comments, because what the band plays is really great and in this record they also present themselves with two tracks called "Wargasm" and "Indian Genocide". Badass!
