Like my card yesterday, the one I made for the last day of the blog hop also was made using an Elizabeth Craft Designs die set, the Oval Pull Card.

Here's the inside of the card.  To line up the scene on the front with the one on the inside, I first stamped the trees and the fisherman on the inside panel.  Then I mounted the black panel on the front oval, laid a piece of waxed paper over the entire card, then mounted the white oval with removable tape on top of the waxed paper.    Then I could line up the stamps (the trees and the fisherman) and stamp on the front.  The waxed paper protected the underlying panels.  I removed the waxed paper and adhered the white oval permanently on the black oval.

The MFP Stamp Shop sets used on this card were Get Reel and Tree Scene.

Please check out the rest of today's hop.

CCEE1543 - Reflections

Maryann continues as hostess for the CCEE Stampers blog again this week with a challenge to create something with reflections.  It could be in a mirror or on water or a verse that looks into the past.  I chose "water" for my reflection.

I stamped the image on waxed paper to get the reflection.  After I colored the "real" trees and the "reflected" trees, I masked the top and sponged some Tim Holtz Salty Ocean and Vintage Photo ink on the part of the picture that was "in the water."

Check out the CCEE Stampers blog for more reflections.

My card using today's set, Tree Scene, is a stand-up card, using a die from Sizzix.  I stamped the image twice, coloring one fully and just the tall tree (which I envision as a blue spruce) a second time.  I cut it out and popped it in place on the full image.

Be sure to check out the rest of the creations which our DT members have made -- and comment often for more chances to win a free stamp set.
