Great Grandma "Memama" visits!

For Thanksgiving we got a special visit from "Memama" (Clint's Grandmother from Mississippi). Papa drove out to her house last week and brought her back to Georgia for the week. Avery & Hunter enjoyed some special time with her all week, Hunter enjoyed watching TV in her lap - while Avery enjoyed getting arm & leg rubs. (this is a specialty!) Of course Avery was recovering from surgery all week, so we had to lay-low and play indoors...but Memama was great company all week.

Avery's Music Class

Avery just finished up another great semester of music class! We had a blast this time because we had FIVE friends taking the class with us. Every week it was a great way to visit and play with our friends, as well as sing along to great kid music, and play instruments. We took class every Thursday morning for ten weeks, and I made this a special day for mommy & Avery. Hunter likes to take his morning nap from 10-12 every day now, so we got our nanny to come watch Hunter so us girls could go play. It was so nice to have a morning to focus on just Avery, we would go shopping or eat lunch together every Thursday while little Hunter stayed home to nap.

Hunter is 4 Months Old!

Wow, how time passes so quickly. I just visited a friend of mine with her one week old baby - and it reminded me how quickly our son is growing up. Hunter was 8 pounds, 5 ounces when he was born as he has almost doubled that in these past months! He has began rolling over on the floor, cooing loudly at us, playing with toys, watching his sisters' every move, and sleeping a little better. (sleeping from 8:30pm-8:30am with 2 wake ups in the night)So, we are starting to feel "normal" again. Here you see our cute boy practicing 'tummy time' on the floor...

Halloween - Toy Story's JESSIE!

This Halloween was the first year that Avery was able to understand what was going on. So, months ago we began looking at costumes in magazines and on the computer - and Avery decided that she was going to be Jessie from Toy Story. (this was after I took her to see Disney on Ice, Toy Story of course). Avery was dead set on being Jessie, and I was surprised that she could not be swayed to dress as a cute princess or maybe a fairy - something I could put makeup on her for, and put bows in her hair (you get the picture). She was so sure of it that I had to find a costume that was sold out everywhere by the time I realized it. Luckily I found it just in time! Avery dressed up for her school party, then for trunk or treat, and then again for our neighborhood party. We had three days of costumes & candy! I'm worn out. Hunter was Woody from Toy Story, Jessie's friend. I'll post some pictures of that soon.
