Ich freue mich, dass ich heute wieder etwas auf dem Rubber Dance Blog zeigen kann. Wieder einmal hab ich die wunderschönen Blätter Stempel von Rubber Dance verwendet. Das ist eins meiner absoluten Lieblingsstempelsets.

I'm really happy that I'm able to show you another papercrafting project on the Rubber Dance Art Stamps Blog today. I created a lantern using the gorgeous leaf stamps by Rubber Dance. I'm sure I already told you, that this is one of my favourite stamp sets!

Ich hab mir eine Herbstlaterne mit den tollen Blätterstempeln von Rubber Dance gebaut. Da es noch zu früh für Weihnachtsdekoration ist, hab ich mir eben ein herbstliches Licht gemacht. Die Laterne hab ich mit dem Silhouette Studio gemacht. Am Ende des Post findet Ihr einen Link zum download.

As you can see, I created an autumn lantern. I love little lights in our house when it's getting dark outside. It's to early for christmas decoration, so I thought - why shouldn't I make myself a fall luminary. I created this lantern with the Silhouette Studio. You'll find a link at the end of this post to download the cutting file.

Ich hab diesselbe Technik für die Blätter verwendet, die ich auch for meine letzte Karte mit diesen Stempeln verwendet habe. Ihr findet den Link zum Video nochmal am Ende des Posts.

I used the same technique for the leaves which I showed you in my video tutorial of my last post. I'll give you the link at the end of this post. 

Die Laterne hab ich aus grünem Tonkarton geschnitten. Die Ecken hab ich mit Distress Crackle Paint Walnut Stain betupft und anschließend noch Fran-tage Embossing Pulver (aged ochre) verwendet, damit sie ein bisschen verrostet aussieht.

The luminary is cut with my Silhouette Cameo out of green cardstock. I covered the edges with Distress Crackle Paint Walnut Stain and added some Fran-tage embossing powder aged ochre to let it look a little bit rusty.

Auf der Rückseite ist eine Öffnung um eine LED Kerze hinein zu stellen. Eine echte Kerze solltet Ihr nicht verwenden, es sei denn Ihr hättet gern ein Tischlagerfeuer.

I created an opening on the back to insert a LED candle light (please don't add a real candle, you don't want to get a bonfire on your table)

Happy Halloween

Heute ist mein zweiter Tag als Gastdesigner auf dem Die-Namites Dies Blog. Natürlich hab ich passend zu Halloween eine Naschtasche für Euch.

QKR 3 of some

Heute muss ich mich vom QKR Stampede Design Team verabschieden. Ich war total gern in diesem tollen Team, aber leider geht mir die Zeit aus. Unsere heutige Challenge hat das Thema:

 "Drei von etwas"

Today I have to say goodbye to the gorgeous DT from QKR Stampede. I really loved to be on the team, but my time runs out. Our current challenge has the theme:

Ich hab drei Perlen verwendet. Der Stempel ist mit Distress Inks koloriert. Die Tasche ist mit einer Schablone von Dutch Doobadoo entstanden. Eine Anleitung dazu findet Ihr hier.

Der Stern und die Schneeflocken sind beides Stanzschablonen von Noor! Design.

I used three beads. The image is colored with Distress Inks. The bag ist created with a Dutch Doobadoo Shape Art Stencil. You'll find a tutorial here.

The star and the snowflakes are both by Noor! Design.

Heute ist mein erster Post als Gast Designerin auf dem Die~Namites Dies Blog. Ich freu mich total, dass ich diesen Monat zwei Gastdesign Post auf dem Die~Namites Blog habe. Die Stanzschablonen sind absolut toll!

Heute möchte ich Euch ein Herbst/Halloween Deko-Projekt zeigen.
Today I'd like to share with you a fall/ Halloween decoration project.

Ich hab mir mit dem Silhouette Studio eine kleine Laterne erstellt und diese mit den Die~Namites Stanzen dekoriert. Zu Anfang war ich nicht sicher, ob ich ein Halloween-Thema mit diesen hübschen Stanzen zustande bringe. Aber es hat geklappt.

I created a little lantern with my Silhouette Studio and decorated it with the following Die~Namites dies. At the beginning I was not sure if I could manage a halloween themed project with these lovely dies, but I think I got it!

Ich war sehr überrascht, wie gut sich das Spring Doily stanzen ließ!
I was totally impressed, that the intricate doily cut so easily!

Ich hab alle Stanzteile aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt. Den Large Ivy
hab ich in kleiner Teile geschnitten und mit Distress Embossing Powder (Peeled Paint, Dusty Concord und Spiced Marmalad) überzogen.
Das Spring Doily  hab ich für die Fenterinnensieten verwendet. Dazu hab ich es gedrittelt.

I cut all the dies out of black cardstock. I cut the Large Ivy into pieces and covered them with Distress Ink Embossing Powder (Peeled Paint, Dusty Concord and Spiced Marmalad). So I got nice colors and a beautiful texture. 

I used the Spring Doily for the inside of my luminary windows. Therefor I also used pieces of the complete die cut.

Den Bird Wreath hab ich ebenso mit schwarzem Distress Embossing Pulver embossed und einen kleinen Teil weggeschnitten.

The Bird Wreath is covered with Black Distress Embossing Powder and I also cut of a little part.

Die Rückseite meiner Laterne ist mit orangem Vellum gestaltet. An die Innenseite hab ich nochmal den Large Ivy geklebt. Es sieht super aus, wenn eine LED Kerze drin ist.

The backside of my lantern is some orange vellum. I put the Large Ivy (covered with Spiced Marmalad Distress Embossing Powder) on it. So I get a nice silhouette. It's looks awesome with a LED candle light.

Challenge auf dem Noor! Design Deutschland Blog

Heute startet wieder eine neue Challenge auf dem Noor! Design Deutschland Blog. Unser Thema lautet diesen Monat:

Heute darf ich Euch auf dem Cards und More Shop Blog wieder ein Werk zeigen. Ich hab nochmal ein Tag mit den Gelatos von Faber-Castell gemacht. Aus passendem Anlass ist es ein Halloween Tag. Eigentlich hatte ich etwas weihnachtliches geplant, jedoch hab ich mir kürzlich das tolle Video von Helen Allen angesehen und war total inspiriert.

It's a Cards und More day today and I'd like to show you another Tag I created with the Faber-Castell Gelatos. I planned something Christmas themed, but then I saw Helen Allen's Video and was totally inspired to create a Halloween Tag!

Diesmal hatte ich kein fertiges Tag mehr, also hab ich mir eins aus braunem Kraft Cardstock geschnitten und mit Gesso grundiert. Es ist wichtig, dass man es gut grundiert - ich hab das leider nicht gemacht - dann klappt das mit dem Mond besser.

I cut my tag out of craft cardstock and covered it with gesso. It's important to cover it very well (what I didn't) - so the moon will look much better.

 

Ich verwende hier die Gelatos: Red Cherry, Mango, Lemon, Grape und Black Licorice und verblende sie mit dem Finger.

Anschließend mach ich den Mond mit Hilfe eine Babyfeuchttuches und der Dutch Doobadoo Bubbles Schablone wieder weiß (leider hab ich davon kein Foto gemach...) Den jetzt weißen Mond maskiere ich mit einem stück Papier....

After that I make my moon using a baby wipe and the Dutch Doobadoo Bubbles stencil. I wiped away the Gelatos (sorry, I didn't take a picture). I mask the white moon now with a piece of paper....

 ... und wische rund um den Mond meinen Hintergrund auch noch etwas heller.

... and wipe some more color away to lighten it's background.

Hier seht Ihr nun das Ergebnis... und hätte ich vorher gründlich grundiert, dann wär mein Mond auch ganz weiß!

Here you can see the result... and if I had covered my surface accurate, I would have got a white moon.

Damit der Hintergrund noch etwas Textur bekommt hab ich aus mangel an grußeligen Hintergründen mit der Shatter Schablone von Tim Holtz und StazOn auf mein Tag gestempelt. Das heißt, ich hab die Schablone eingefäbt und anschließend auf mein Tag gedrückt (schnell!!!).
Super wäre an der Stelle ein geeignerter Stempel gewesen. (Den Mond sollte man dabei dann auch maskieren)

To texture my background I stamped with the Shatter stencil by Tim Holtz and StazOn on my tag, as I have no creepy stamps. I inked up the stencil and put it immediately on the surface. A stamp would have been better. (And the moon should be covered also).

 

Hier hab ich mir unten noch ein bisschen Landschaft mit dem schwarzen Gelato aufgemalt und mit den Fingern etwas verblendet. Dem Tag hab ich außerdem noch einen schwarzen Rand verpasst.

I added some landscape on the bottom with my black Gelato and blended it with my fingers. I also framed my tag black.

Und weil mich das mit dem Mond etwas geärgert hat, hab ich den noch mithilfe eines Embossing Pens und weißem Embossingpulver versucht zu retten. Die Kontur hab ich mit meinem White Pen gezogen.

Because I was angry about my moon I embossed it with white embossing powder using an embossing pen. I draw the outlines with my white pen.

Die Kürbise und die Spinne hab ich mir mit der Cameo geschnitten. Die Kürbise hab ich mit Distress Inks (Peeled Paint, Ripe Permission) schattiert und mit einem schwarzen Fineliner die Konturen nachgezogen. Anschließend hab ich sie mit Glossy Accents überzogen. Vor dem Aufbringen der Kürbisse auf dem Tag hab ich an den Stellen an denen die Kürbise ausgeschnitten sind noch gelbe und weiße Acrylfarbe aufgetragen.Für die Schatten der Kürbise und meine schwarze Häkelbordüre hab ich noch schwarze Stickles verwendet.

The pumpkins and the spider are cut with my Silhouette Cameo. The pumpkins are colored with some Distress Inks (Peeled Paint and Ripe Permission). I draw the outlines with a fine black pen. Finally I added some Glossy Accents. Before I adhered them to my tag I colored with white and yellow acrylic paint the surface where my pumpkins are cut. For the shadows of the lanterns and the black lace border I used some black stickles.

An mein Band hab ich den putzigen Eulen Anhänger mit einer Sicherheitsnadel befestigt. Den Text "Trick or Treat" hab ich am PC ausgedruckt und mit dem Mustard Seed Distress Marker eingefärbt. Die Konturen hab ich mit einem schwarzen Fineliner gemacht. Auf die Spinne hab ich ebenfalls Glossy Accents.

I added the lovely owl charm to my ribbon. The "Trick or Treat" was print with my PC and colored with the Mustard Seed Distress Marker. I draw the outlines with my fine black pen. I added Glossy Accents to my spider as well.
