A couple of challenges

Well let's try again this is for the new challenge over at Whiff of Joy a fabulous sketch by Jane and Crafty Catz colour combo Green, White and Orange with a "fruity" optional extra.



I've used My Mind's Eye papers, American Crafts Cardstock, MS Scollop Dot border, Craftwork Cards Sentiment, E-line flowers, MS leaf punch and a "fruity" charm.

The Whiff of Joy image has been coloured with Copics.

Whiff of Joy Challenge - Recipe

I've been trying to do lots of challenge cards and don't seem to be getting anywhere.

Well this was for the Whiff of Joy Recipe challenge 1 ribbon, 2 buttons, 3 ribbons
but I'm too late! Never mind, better get a move on with the new one.

The papers are Kay & Co with American Crafts cardstock, papermania ribbon and buttons



Whiff of Joy image coloured with Distress Inks, not sure about this, it's only the second time I've used them properly and think I'm a bit heavy handed, defintely need more practise, Copics are so much easier.

Cut her feet out of the nestie so I could get her on the small plain oval and used the scalloped one to mat and layer.

Blowing Kisses

This is one of my lovely new Whiff of Joy stamps - Blowing Kisses, I have had my eye on this and a couple of others for ages, so eventually gave in. She is coloured with Promarkers, the papers are from the Papermania Capsule Collection, yummy scrummy Martha Stewart hearts and border- or course and some flowers , heart pin and charm to finnish.

Christmas Pledge Week 4

Well can you believe it's the end of January already? Over on DC Snoflake has set a Christmas pledge where we are to make one Christmas card for 2010 each week and this week if we've got all four so far we will be entered into a prize draw.



I've had a busy week, got an order for 20 cards and a table top sale in a couple of weeks so trying to make as many as possible also going to Blackpool on Sunday to spend the day with the DoCrafts Crafty Devils who are having a weekend retreat. I didn't dare leave hubby with the four children for a whole weekend, lol.

I used papermania Oriental papers with DCWV cardstock and a donated Whiff of Joy image coloured with Copics. The flowers are Hero Arts with some Gems in the centre.

Used American Crafts cardstock with My Mind's Eye papers (Wild Asparagus and Bloom & Grow) which I love at the moment. Whiff of Joy "Hot Chocolate" coloured with Copics. Circles cut with nesties and Cuddly Buddly sentiment. The flowers are from local craft shop and already embossed, I've just inked them up with brown ink.

I think this is my favourite Christmas Image - it is of course by Mo of Digital Pencil Too coloured with Prismas, Papermania papers, sentiment and pearl card from Docrafts Xmas Goody bag and fab ribbon from the Pound shop.





WoJ "Mum" Birthday

Whiff of Joy - Baking Cookies coloured with Prismas, My Mind's Eye (Bloom & Grow) papers with coredination cardstock. Stamped and embossed sentiment with a couple of Hero Art flowers.






Penny Black Wedding Anniversary

Donated Penny Black image coloured with Prisma's, Kay and Co Papers with coredination cardstock and a bit of ribbon. Computer generated sentiment.

Passion for Promarker Challenge - Blue Pearl and Sandstone

I've used a Whiff of Joy image "Hot Chocolate" with Papermania papers, Chocolate Linen cardstock, brads and flowers from stash and the Mug stamp is by Craftwork Cards, stamped and embossed in brown.

Copic Colouring

I spent last night playing with my Copics, after my first card was a success I decided to invest in some. However, I am not sure now and don't know whether to stick to Promarkers. The pastels are fine but the others are going to take some getting used to. See what you think.

1st Whiff of Joy Challenge

I've caught the blog challenge bug, this is my entry for this weeks Whiff of Joy Challenge, you had to use the layout given. Decided if I'm going to be making cards anyway might as well try and win some goodies along the way, you never know.

The stamp is Willow with Cookies and the papers are from Papermania's Jesse Edwards Collection, with some Cored'ination embossed with Swiss Dots and a foral border. Finnished with some Flora doodles.

New Whiff of Joy stamps

I have just discovered Whiff of Joys, after finding two had to have more so visited the website and found the gorgeous Pregnant Willow and Willow with baby and toddler. Here's my first card with them hope you like it.
