Quill You Be My Valentine? PP375 and Stamp Ink Paper #131

 We are back from our holiday break and ready for  our first challenge of 2018 at The Paper Players!  We are so excited for you to join us!

 The sensational Sandy is our hostess this week and she has a fun theme challenge for all of us.  It won't be long until Valentine's Day, so it is a great opportunity to get started on your stash.

I own a LOT of stamps, but this was my only stamp set with a "Punny" sentiment.  I was excited to find it in my stash.  This little angel made me smile!  

 I am also entering my card in the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge.  They are all about "embossing" this week and that is my favorite thing to do on a card.  




I added a picture of the wobble spring on the back of my angel.  I thought this made the card even more fun.  I bet one of my grands will pull him right off this card!  LOL!

I have been featuring some of my favorite holiday moments.  I shared a very special evening with my dear friend, Leah.  We celebrated her "50th" birthday by attending the Jennifer Nettles concert with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.  We had a fabulous dinner and the concert was AMAZING!  I am a huge Jennifer Nettles fan. I love her voice and she is a Native Georgian.

The Challenge #60

 It's Monday and time for a new challenge at The Challenge!
This week we have a very beautiful color combo for you! We can't wait to see what you create!
A few rules to keep things fun and fair!
1. Use the challenge to create a card.
2. Please add the challenge graphic to your blog post (copy and paste).
3. Have fun and comment on the submissions of others.
4. Anything that is offensive to myself or to my viewers will be removed.
5. Please only link to 3 other challenges plus our challenge for a total of 4 challenges.
6. Have fun!




My card features a stamp set by Paper Smooches-Love Struck.  The base card is Real Red. The white card stock was embossed with an arrow embossing folder.  I created the red, gray, pink and white target with the SugarPea Designs-Zig Zag Circle Dies.  The little cupid was colored with Copic Markers . Two stitched banners  were cut with My Favorite Things-Stitched Fishtail Flag Banners.  The sentiment was stamped in black Momento ink.  I added two red hearts and covered them with Glossy Accents to make them shine.
