Cocktails!

Just a quickie today, I have just got back from a lovely week with my daughter and Granddaughter but I seem to have come back with a tummy bug.  Going to stay by the fire and keep warm but I wanted to post this masculine birthday card using the "Cocktail" stamps from Tim Holtz.

I stamped my image and smooshed with distress ink in Salty Ocean, I then coloured with my Zig markers. The base is using up a piece of my huge stash of patterned paper, and I decided to layer on a red card to coordinate with the red dot.  I raised the stamped image on foam for more dimension.

I will enter this in the LOVE flickr group challenge "Anything Goes"

Have a great weekend

Masculine Birthday!

I have had a very busy week with my family coming to stay , its been so long since they were able to stay for a week  but at last they could come down, we had a fabulous time.  The sun shone and we were able to get to the beach which was lovely. My card making took a back seat but now I am back on it with a simple masculine birthday card.

For the background I used a Poppy Stamps "Happy Birthday background" die cut in blue.  I then added an cycling image I found on google raised on pop dots. Its a very simple card but hopefully is getting me back into crafting after a week off.

I am adding this card to the "Happy Birthday" challenge over at Die Cut Divas. and the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge "All things masculine" also the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Masculine"

Have a great week

More Masculine!

I needed a quick masculine card and so decided to use a Tim Holtz stencil and some Distress Oxide ink . The colours are Salty Ocean and Cracked Pistachio, love these colours together, they always say "Blue and Green should never be seen" but I think they go together well!!  The die cut is from Altenew.

Quick and simple to make!!

I will add this to the "Stencil it" challenge at the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.

Another glorious day here so I am off to the garden to read, have a great day!!
