Little Easter Boxes!

I decided to make these table treat boxes for Easter that can be filled with mini eggs,  although I am a bit disappointed as my family wont be able to visit at Easter due to the Lockdown rules!

I found the pattern for the little box online and hand cut four in bright spring coloured card.

Next I embossed all the sides with an older embossing folder from Cuttlebug and highlighted the embossing with Distress Oxide inks.

I then made the labels by stamping this really old Rubber Stampede image in black and colouring with my Zig Markers. adding some glimmer paste to the seed head.

I found scraps of matching ribbon for the boxes and attached the label.

Really pleased with how they turned out and quite simple to make too.

Sorry for the photo heavy post!
I am adding these to the current challenge at the "Lets Squash it" blog "Boxing clever with floral embossing"

Happy Mothering Sunday to all the UK Mothers out there!

Spring Flowers.

This is the view from my craft room today, the sun has come out but its bitterly cold so I decided to make another spring themed card.

Again I have used the SSS "Artful Flowers" and coloured them with Zig Markers to look like Primroses.  The leaves are from the SSS "Spring Flowers set " not sure where the lattice die came from. Then just added the gold embossed sentiment.

I shall add this to a couple of challenges, the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Easter Inspired" and the SSS Flickr Group Challenge "Easter/Springtime"

Have a great week.

Easter Basket

Here is a little basket I have created to fill with Easter goodies for my friends Granddaughter.  I have chosen this CAS design using Washi Tape and patterned paper.  Unfortunately I don't seem to have an Easter sentiment stamp,( one to add to my wish list I think) so I have left it plain.

I am adding this little box to the Washi Tape challenge at Moxie Fab and the current challenge at CAS-ual Fridays.

Hope you all have a happy Easter Weekend and thanks for all your comments, I really appreciate them all.

Easter card swap!

Just a quick post to show you the card I made for Rosemary in America as part of the Easter card exchange organised by Anita on the Hero Arts Flickr site.

To make this I used my water colour markers and coloured my stamp, I then spritzed with perfect pearls and stamped. I have also added the envelope pattern to the edges with Tumbled Glass distress ink and then distressed the edges.  This is a fairly new die cutter from Spellbinders called Lacey Circles and its fast becoming my favourite shape for cards, so pretty and delicate.

I am busy preparing a little challenge for the Hero Arts flickr group for this Saturday.  Its a 90 minute scramble challenge and it starts at 19.30 GMT or 11.30 Pacific time. If you have time please join in the fun, I have a little prize prepared and Hero Arts are also giving a Digital Kit.

Hope you are having a good week.
