Beary Shaker Card

Hi everyone,
Today, I am sharing a bear shaker card using the MFT Birthday Bears stamp set.
This one is easy to make but I think so cute! The bears were cut by hand because this is one stamp set I actually don't have the dies for. Colored with copics and using Echo Park paper.

Thanks so much for visiting today.

MFT Summer School Lesson 5

Hi everyone,
This past week I made projects to participate in My Favorite Things Summer School. They had 5 different lessons and so I made a project for each one. Here is my first project for Day 5 which was "white space" even though my "space" is pink and not white I think that it still uses the essence of the lesson.
I just got this stamp and die and I just love her plus she is so fun to color. I also used some stickles to make her a little more glittery. Be sure to visit MFT stamps Blog, there is still time to do the lessons.

Be sure to participate in my giveaway for a Fuse, information can be found on this post.

Fairy Kisses

Hello,
So I was looking at my stamps and saw this super cute stamp from My Favorite Things that I have never used before! What? How can that be? Well when you have a lot of craft stuff it's pretty easy to do. So as I try to work through some of my paper pads, I made this super cute card.
I paper pieced her dress and put some Wink of Stella on her wings and I used my copics and I think my card is really fun!

Thanks so much for visiting today!

Here's the Story

HI everyone,
Today, I have a quick card for you all. I have been trying to do the MFT sketch challenge each week and I think that I got this one just under the wire.

I needed a card for a parent group that donated some money to my library program. I used the MFT stamp set Here's the Story. I did a lot of paper piecing for this one and some copic coloring. The paper is from My Mind's Eye.  I had some fun just doing some stamping for once. Sometimes, you just want to make something quick and not have to pull out the die cutting machines and mats and all that jazz.

My hand still hurts. I strained it some weeks back and if I press on the lower part of my thumb, total pain and I keep forgetting and twisting it this way and that. Luckily, it 's my left hand so it doesn't affect the crafting too much! I just have to find some time to get to the Dr.

All You Need is Love

Hi,
I have completed MFT's sketch challenge for this week! Woo Hoo me! This is a super simple CAS card.
I used an MFT stamp set for my sentiment. It was one of the free with purchase and so it didn't have the normal packaging and so no stamp set title. I found a way to use more Valentine paper! I also used this corner that I got in a swap. It just needed a little something so that it wasn't too plain. Thanks for visiting today!

You make my heart happy

Hi everyone,
I am back with a card that I made to meet a couple of challenges. First at MFT, they have a sketch challenge and a color challenge. The colors to use are pink, white and black. I am also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, where we have been asked to use embossing. For this card, I used the swiss dots embossing folder. The cuts used are from the CTMH Artiste cartridge.

The sentiment is from MFT. I really like how it came out! I am so glad that we are having a three day weekend. It was a tough week at work and you could really smell the smoke from the wildfire that was burning not too far away from where I work. Luckily, my home is quite a distance from there, so the air is much clearer here. I hope that we get some cooler weather soon and we could really use some rain because things are getting very dry here and we could see more fires. It was close to 90 degrees where I work so it really doesn't feel much like winter.

I hope that you all have a good weekend!

Stamped Snowman

HI,

I really changed gears today and used this cute Snowman stamp from My Favorite Things. I did some paper piecing on his hat and the heart and outlined him a bit in gray. I again used the Echo Park Keepin' Cozy paper pad and used these mica flakes that I have in absolutely forever and have never used not once! All I did was use my glue pen on the bottom of the snowman and smash down the mica flakes. The sentiment is from CardzTv. I liked this card so much that I made two of them!

Thanks for visiting me today.

Where Flowers Bloom

Today's card uses some scraps from a retired SU paper pack. It's not my favorite paper, so I ahm happy to use it up. The stamps are from MFT Who's That Girl - Garden stamp set. I paperpieced the girl's outfit and used my copics to color in the planter and flowers. I try to use neglected stamp sets when I can and so I kind of closed my eyes and picked this stamp set from my MFT collection. Thanks for looking today.

Today's card uses the MFT stamp set called Hangin' With My Peeps. I used my absolute favorite paper from SU called Parisian Summer. I have found tons of uses for this paper in past projects. I paperpieced part of her dress and used my copics t color the rest of the the image. I also used this pretty velvet ribbon from SU on the card and tied some daffodil ribbon around a pretty pink button.
