Alright.... now on to our newest challenge hosted by Cheryl Nelson

****************************************************************

Hi All!  It is Cheryl back as your hostess this week and I have chosen the theme of "It's a Fabrication"...*and that's the truth*...your challenge is to use fabric on your project this week.  I don't know about you, but I get almost giddy when I walk into a fabric store.  I just LOVE all the pattern and color and texture.  Using fabric on a project can add all those things to it and I'm super excited to see what you all create with it this week.

Guest Designer

Get to know Catherine......

I am french but I have been living in the UK for more than twelve years now. I started paper crafting ten years ago. I used to do a lot of cross-stitching but I had to stop because of problems with my hands. I have never looked back since ! I am totally addicted... I used to make memory albums but since I started my blog I have been mainly making cards. I love kraft cardstock, dies, ribbons... and cute images for me to colour ! Blogland is a wonderful place with great people and a lot of inspiration

Hi All!  It is Cheryl here as hostess this week for CCCB.  I hope you have TIME to play along with our challenge this week.  Our challenge is all about TIME.  With a birthday and a 30 year anniversary approaching and children that refuse to stop getting older...I have been thinking a lot about TIME lately.  So our theme this week is Time After Time and your challenge is to use a CLOCK somewhere on your project.   I hope you have a GOOD TIME playing along!

Week 114 ~ Time After Time

Guest Designer

Get to know Ira......

Hi girls! My name is Ira Huberts. I’m a working girl who has her own wholesale company (Trachtenmode) together with
my wonderful husband, Jan. We’ve been together for 25 years and he’s my best friend.
I am delighted to design for My Crafty Heart in the UK and to be this week’s guest designer for City Crafter
where the girls are all so very talented, such an honour to be with you this week. Thanks for having me!
I was introduced to paper crafting a century ago when I was still a child; over the years I’ve
ventured into lots of different craft hobbies (knitting, embroidery, paper crafting). I don’t think
I have a specific style, I’m pretty eclectic in my tastes, always love to create something different.
Although my preferences lie with vintage and I love to alter things. Fabulous papers can really make
me happy, not just scrapbooking papers, stationary and beautiful envelopes, too! Other than scrapbooking
I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening and teasing my DH J

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #106 ~ A Little Rough Around the Edges

Hi ALL!  It is Cheryl back this week as hostess and I have picked for a theme "A Little Rough Around the Edges".  Sometimes a little roughness adds interest and beauty to someone or something.  With that in mind...our challenge to you is this...add a little burlap on your project somewhere.  I just love the look of burlap...that little bit of roughness...of texture it can add to a project.  Sooooo don't be scared to be a little rough around the edges and grab ahold of some burlap and get going.  I can't wait to view your projects this week!
