I have some stitching progress to share.
I have managed to do a little on Cirque des cercles. Mostly on the train, but I have started the inner circle! I may finish this yet.
While I was at the parents for my cousin's bridal shower I did a little work on Serenity Prayer. The first page is almost complete, mostly the border and the start of a motif.
And I started a birth announcement. One of my cousins and his wife had a new baby boy late last month and I decided to do them a little something. This the head of the first owl on the piece.

Evil blue folders
My boss told me the other day making a to do list is a form of procrastination and would not help in any way to get all the stuff done that I'm supposed to be working on.
I thought it was an awesome idea because I keep forgetting to do the little things that have no deadline. Like blog. It's been on before mentioned to do list for a couple of weeks. It's a good thing my performance evaluation doesn't include my blog or I would be in big trouble.
Anyhow - between visiting the parents and doing shopping for bridal shower next month, not feeling well, and a billion other things I did do a little stitching.
I am now going to go and get my bag ready for morning and see if I can't get my castle finished.

Triple Play
I have been meaning to update progress for the last week but never seemed to get it done - clearly.
I have been doing my best to remain Olympics free - not a sports fan; the people at work don't seem to share in that.
On to the good stuff - stitching update:

Weekend Stitching
This weekend I was very lazy and spent the weekend stitching and rest my knee, which I managed to pull a muscle in.
It was very blue... both the projects I decided to work on just have blue thread. Good thing I like blue.

Round it goes
I have managed to get a little done on Cirque des cercles the last few weeks - not a huge amount - but enough that I think a progress picture is worth it.
I'm trying to work on it in the mornings on the way to work - bus seating and lighting dependent. Last week wasn't the best for space or light.

WIPocolypse Catch-Up
WIPocolypse was last week, and I had it on my list of things to do but got busy.
Here is my progress on the projects I've worked on recently. I've put most of the projects on hold while I work on Corn Mill.

Going in circles
Today was interesting at work... not only did I run around doing stuff that made me wonder what I got done at the end of the day, the movers came to take apart a section of my desk, I now have a big open spot just inside my office door which makes my office look very - how shall I say - odd. A bookcase is going to be added in the near future- someone thinks this means my office will be less messy. Really it's just moving the mess around.
I have some more progress to share

Frozen Frog Legs
For the last couple of days, I have been working on Cirque des Cercles.
I had a wee attack of the frogs, but I have sent them outside to enjoy tonight's snow if they made it in the cold.
Anyways, here is the latest progress... not as much as I had hoped

At The End
of the row
I managed to pull out Cirque des Cercles (Ink Circles) this week for a little bit.
I got the last big circle done, and almost my goal of finishing the top row in 2012.
This project doesn't have a goal for 2013 yet.

Finally! Stitching!
I have stitching progress to share!
I pulled out Cirque des Cercles again
and Tour des Marques
I have trees! I spent Sunday afternoon doing all the confetti in the trees
and Winter
still filling in
and Olive
Today we cleared the last of the stuff out of the library. It's been a long week and now I guess I get to unpack my office (joy - not).

Eat, Stitch, Laugh
This weekend was the Annual Knowledge and Needles Open House/ Stitching Day.
Friday morning Dani and headed to Brighton to spend the weekend stitching, eat and stitching. It was lovely seeing everyone and having a chance to relax.
Saturday (the actually Stitching Day), was filled with lots of laughter, food, stitching, some shopping and more then a little enabling. We had a crowd of about 35 come and go through the day and I'm pretty sure everyone had a good time.
I didn't take any pictures of stitchers but did get some pictures of the amazing finished projects that were on display.
I picked up a little stash while there - I wanted to pick up a few pieces of standard fabrics, and then a few things jumped in my basket.
My birthday present from Dani and her other half had also arrived so I got that too (I'm so spoiled). In case you can't tell it's Plum Pudding from Glendon Place and the specialty fibres and beads. I have the fabric on order - in fact it should be here shortly.
I got some stitching done:
I pulled out Cirque des Cercles (Ink Circles):
and Olive for some more green and brown blob work:
The next couple of weeks are going to be very crazy at work, we are moving our offices on the 5th and then the collection. I expect that there won't be a blog post until after that as I work on getting everything ready and then organize my new office.
