Here is my card and hopefully some more inspiration

With Memorial Day just passing, Flag Day and the 4th of July quickly approaching, this inspiration photo was the perfect on to use with the new release Good Point stamp set.

I stamped several times the arrow with the stars into a chevron pattern and then colored a few of the stars within each stamped image using my copic markers. To keep the card on the CAS design but still add some addition red/white and blue colors I added some Trendy Twine in one of my FAVORITE twists~ Stars and Stripes.

Finally I stamped my sentiment using the Wish BIG stamp set and attached all my layers onto my Kraft Cardstock base.

Good Point........{TAWS Sneak Day 2}

Good Morning Bloggers!!!

It is Day 2 of our sneaks for the new June stamps being released from 

The Alley Way Stamps

Today I am sharing a project using the new

Good Point

stamp set......
I used this week's  CAS(E) this Sketch

and made a birthday card/ gift card holder...
Hope you like it :)

So here is the front of my card....Like I said before I used the fun sketch, added papers from The Paper Loft~Everyday Life Collection and those GREAT arrows and sentiment from the new Good Point stamp set. When putting this card together, I thought there was something missing between the papers...So using my sewing machine I added a zig zag pattern where my two designer papers met and then ran a straight line border around the outside. Finally after my mat was sewn I added it to an Enchanted Evening PTI card base and popped my arrows up using some foam squares.

Here is the inside...I followed the same pattern as the front but instead of sewing the zig zag I left it open for a pocket. How fun would this be to add a birthday gift card or money??

The sentiment is not from the Good Point set...instead it is from on of my favorite birthday sets~ Wish BIG.

Good Morning, Happy Memorial Day!!

I hope you all are having a GREAT holiday weekend! I know we are! We have been at my in laws cottage on the lake all weekend, enjoying the family time and sun!

Anyways........Welcome to my PACKED blog today!

so for my card I used one of my favorite go to challenge blogs~ Seize the Birthday 

 for my card.

  Since it is also Sneak Day 1 of the new June release over at

The Alley Way Stamps

 I added my sneak using the fun fun stamp set Bot Time and came up with this birthday card..... I hope you like it!!!

I started my card off with a Brown Kraft Cardstock base and added a mat of Bazzill  Navy card stock and designer paper from DoodleBug Deisgns~Boy's Only paper pad. Before adhering my mat  to my card base, I used some White Twill Tape and let some of the extra hang off the end....you know, just for a bit extra :)

I also added some screw brads (to match the sketch) and taped the whole mat down to my base. Next came the stamping of the fun image and sentiments. I used the new release stamp set from The Alley Way Stamps ~Bot Time, some memento tuxedo black ink and another matching sheet of designer paper. I left the image plain...cause I just LOVE this big guy and double stamped the "beep".

Since this is a birthday card I stamped another sentiment inside the card following the same layout as the front using several sets....

Bot Time, Alphabet Soup, and Wish BIG!

So fun isn't it????

Red, White and Blue........{The Kraft Journal}

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!!

It is time for a new challenge over at

 The Kraft Journal!

This week's challenge is... 

Red, White and Blue

seeing that my son will be celebrating his 10th birthday in just a few weeks I used this week's

Seize The Birthday 

sketch

and came up with this fun birthday card...

So here is what I did.... I started out with a Brown Kraft Cardstock base and added a mat of Peebles Let Freedom Ring pattern paper.  Using my cameo and a star file from the Silhouette store, I cut 2 stars....one using the kraft and another one using some Bazzill blue. Since there is no white in my pattern paper, I added some white gel pen doodles (wanted to make sure I was following TKJ challenge) Again since this is for my son's 10th birthday I added the number's "1" and "0" using Tim Holtz Mini Numerals and popping them up using some foam adhesive.

Moving onto the sentiment and embellishments.. 

I wanted my sentiment to be on some Cream Twill Tape , so I stamped The Alley Way Stamp Wish BIG birthday sentiment using  Stazon Black Ink directly onto the ribbon. Didn't it turn out awesome????? To finish my card up I added one of my favorite embellishments from The Kraft Outlet~ the Custom Fasteners. Two of the stickers that come with this set were a perfect match to my card!

So there you have it....my inspiration for this week's challenge.

Sneak Peak Day 2.....Delicate Doilies {TAWS}

Good Morning Bloggers!!!

It is Day 2 of our sneak peaks for the new

May stamps being released from 

The Alley Way Stamps

Today I am sharing a project using the new

Delicate Doilies 
stamp set......
-I have to admit I am not a doily kinda girl but LOVE the details that each of the images in this stamp set have...OMG they are gorgeous!!
So for my project I made a birthday card that was given to my Mother-in-Law. Her favorite color is purple so I keep it to just that and white...
Here it is...hope you like it!

I wanted my card to be simple yet showcase the gorgeous doily image I chose to use...
I used white cardstock, this beautiful purple card base and SU bling (a gift I received from my friend Norma), ribbon from Michaels and my sewing machine...go figure :) 
I also used the "happy birthday" sentiment from last month's new release Wish BIG.

Here is a close-up of the doily. Isn't it beautiful!!!
I ended up stamping it 2 times, cutting the center out and then layering it on top of my original stamped image.

Happy Birthday......{Challenge Entry}

Happy Sunday everyone!!

Hope you are all having a GREAT weekend!!

I am playing along in some challenges I like to enter into so I have another birthday card to share that will be linked up to a few of my favorites. All the challenges are listed below and if you have not checked out some of these...what are you waiting for?? They are all so much fun and always packed with gorgeous inspiration. But before you check them out here is my card.....Hope you like it :)

I used this week's Seize the Birthday sketch (pictured below) and the challenge for this week was a feminine birthday card. Using one of my all time favorite characters~ Ava (this one is Ava Flower) from Bugaboo Stamps I printed her and colored her using my copics. 

Here she is up close :) I added a flat back pearl to her flower center, the a felt flower and petal to the base. The sentiment is from The Alley Way Stamps~ Wish BIG stamp set (it is one of the new release sets for this month!)

Now you know me....I can not go without adding some stitching so I ran the mat through my sewing machine using 2 different stitches....one to border the mat and the other to border the designer paper to my embossed cardstock.

I finished it off by attaching the entire mat to my Brown Kraft A2 card base.

So there you have it...another birthday card to add to my stash.

Here is my card and hopefully some more inspiration.....
I used these new April release stamp sets....

  
And came up with this birthday card...

How fun is this??? I plan on giving it to my BFF's son who is turning 8 in a few days :)
For my card I used MME~ Mischievous paper pack....yes it is Halloween but it had the colors I wanted.

I stamped my candles 8 times and then paper pieced them using some pattern paper and added some orange and yellow stickles for the flames.

Here is a close-up of the sentiment....I added some orange bling

and there you have it!

Wish Big {TAWS}

Good Morning Everyone!!

It is my DT day over at The Alley Way Stamps and I have a card to share using one of the new release stamp sets for this month.

If you have not checked out April new release you can do so HERE!

They are AWESOME!!!

So for my CAS card I used the new set

Wish Big

and came up with this.....

I just LOVE this stamp set! The images are awesome and those sentiments are perfect for putting together a quick and easy birthday card!

I used Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock from The Kraft Journal and designer paper from Basic Grey~ Shine on Paper Pack. After stamping the adorable present on the polka dot paper and then again on the red paper I cut both images out and glued the bow in place. I ran my mat through my sewing machine for the border and attached some SU bling to the corners and the bow. The sentiment was stamped using Brilliance Graphite Black ink and the present was popped up using foam dots.

CAS with a splash of color pop!

Here is my card and hopefully some more inspiration.....

I used this month's new release stamp set Wish BIG

and the polka dots and colors~ pink, purple and yellow for my inspiration  

to create this CAS card

Using a small circle punch I made my own confetti using pink, yellow and purple cardstock. Then adding them in a random pattern and using some stickles for a few makes for a quick and fun birthday card.

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Easter!

It is not my DT day over at The Alley Way Stamps but I could not help but make a card using one of the new release stamp sets for this month. It is actually the mini set that you can get for free just by placing a minimum order :)

I came up with this....

How funny is this??? I just love this stamp

Here is a close-up of this silly guy. I paper pieced his hair and glasses and added some glossy accents to the inside of those to make them look more like glasses.

I wanted the sentiment to take up some of the white space next to him so I die cut the letters "h and b" using My Creative Time~ Lowercase Fun Dies and then stamping the rest using the new Wish BIG stamp set.

The "handsome" that you can see in the top picture is from the Words to Live By set and to add some extra manly touches to this I stapled that onto the image mat.

 The nose was colored using my copics and I popped the glasses up using foam dots.

Finally the designer paper that I used for this card is from Studio Calico~Darling Dear collection. Such a GREAT mix of colors and patterns in this paper stack!!!

For my project today I made a fun box card, perfect for a gift card

Using the tutorial I found HERE, I was able to put this card together in no time.

Want to know what took the longest??? Picking out my pattern papers...LOL!

I used the new stamp set~ Wish Big 

I LOVE all the GREAT birthday sentiments and images...another MUST have for sure!

Here is a close-up of the sentiment, banner and balloons. I added some Trendy Twine in Lemon Tart, Holly Green and In the Navy

Popped the center balloon up for some dimension as well as the banner, running the twine behind the banner to hold it in place.

 The papers are from My Minds Eye~Playdate paper pack. Such GREAT primary colors and patterns!

I made a mat for the inside that has not be attached yet...I thought once I sent this out with a message on it, then I can add adhesive to it.

Here is the whole set....The front sentiment with those adorable balloons and banner are attached to a belly band that just slides right on the card to hold it all together.
