U R Robotastic.....{TAWS}

Good Morning Everyone!!
It is my DT day over at The Alley Way Stamps
and I have a card to share that I made using this week's
Mojo Monday Sketch and the adorable new release Bot Time stamp set

Hope you like it.......
What do you think??
I used one of the cute robots and colored him with my copic markers. Then added a bit of glossy accents to his eyes and "controls". Using the gears and embellishments (also from the stamp set) I stamped them on some silvery paper and cut them out. The chipboard letters came from my stash and the sentiment is also from the set. I stamped that onto the My Creative Time Vintage Stitched Label die and popped it up using some foam pop dots.
Couldn't leave out the machine stitching :)

Supplies Used:
Paper~ Kraft (The Kraft Outlet) My Minds Eye (Lime Twist)
Stamps~ The Alley Way Stamps (Bot Time)
Ink~ Copic Markers, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Extra's~ My Creative Time (Vintage Stitched Label Die)
glossy accents, sewing machine, chip board letters

Well that is all I have for you this morning!
Make sure to check out The Alley Way Stamps for more inspiration
Hope you all have a GREAT day and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Heard You Caught a Bug......{Challenge Card}

Happy Sunday everyone!!
I wanted to pop in with a card I made...that is not for a DT but one that I wanted to make to enter a few challenges!
I used this week's Stella Says Sketch
and came up with this..... I hope you like it!
So for my card I used the adorable Bugaboo Stamps image~ Bug Jar~Ladybug and colored her with my copic markers. I added a layer of glossy accents to the jar as well as some x-mas red stickles to the bow on the jar. Once all that was dry, I ran the image through my sewing machine :)
The designer paper is actually Christmas paper from MME~Christmas (I think this is one of my favorite paper packs....LOVE the colors!!)
I made a border with my sewing machine again for this and then tied some
3GJ~ Dress White crinkle ribbon which is one of the newest releases and part of the Navy Bundle.
Finally I used the new release stamp set~ Punny Animals from Joy's Life
Well there you have it!
That is all I have for now.....
Next up, working on my PKS challenge entry....but I wont be posting that until Wed
Make sure to stop by tomorrow for a brand new
as well as on Tuesday for my
TAWS project
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT rest of your weekend!!!

Using the adorable Center Step Easel card that I purchased from the Silhouette Store, the too cute bunny from Miss Kate's Cuttables and of course some Peachy Keen Cute and Cuddly stamps here is what I came up with.

Here is a close-up of the adorable bunny. I added some white gel pen to her eyes, mouth and cheeks. Some stickles in cotton candy to her nose and lime green to the grass.
Glossy accents to the easter eggs (hard to tell in the picture but they are nice and shiny)
The sentiment is from My Creative Time~To My Best Peep....isn't is perfect for this adorable bunny???

It's Your Day Enjoy w/TAWS

Good Morning everyone!!
It is my DT day over at The Alley Way Stamps and I have another card using one of the new release stamp sets for this month.
If you have not checked out February's new release you can do so HERE!
They are super adorable!!!
So for my card today I wanted to play along with the sketch for this week over at
Seize The Birthday as well as the color combo challenge for Dynamic Duos

And here is the card I came up with. I hope you like it!
The challenge over at Seize the Birthday was to follow the sketch but to also make a masculine birthday card. I knew right away that this adorable robot from the Lighter Than Air stamp set would make a GREAT boy birthday card. What we tend to forget is that the outside of the card does not have to have the traditional "Happy Birthday" sentiment. I know I always write inside the card "Happy Birthday"....So with that said I thought that the sentiment I chose for the outside fit the card perfectly! What do you think??
It is from this month's release stamp set~ All About You
The Challenge for Dynamic Duos was another beautiful color combo~ Tempting Turquoise and Basic Black. I ended up coloring my robot image with those color combos and my paper from October Afternoon happened to be a very similar match as well. The "dessert" option for this weeks challenge was "clouds" and my card does not have actual clouds on the card itself but the "scene" I created was taken in the clouds...LOL!

Supplies Used:
Paper~White, Black
October Afternoon~Rocket Age
Stamps~ The Alley Way Stamps~ All About You, Lighter Than Air

Ink~ Memento Tuxedo Black
Copic
Cuts/Dies~ Rocket~
Silhouette Store
Other~ Sewing Machine
SU Bling
Glossy Accents

Manly Birthday Card w/Gus

Hi Everyone!
I have another birthday card to share...posting a little later than I had planned but here it is...
And the great thing is it fits a bunch of challenges as well....
Thursday Challenge – Let’s hear it for the Boys – Masculine Card
and I used the sketch  for the new
Seize The Birthday Challenge

Introducing Gus....LOL! He is such a character!!

I did some paper piecing with him today....wanted to have his robe and slippers match the papers I was using....check out his bunny slippers....LOL!!
I also added some glossy accents to his glasses after coloring the remaining of him with my copic markers
I also ended up using my scraps to finish the inside and make my own brad!
The original brad had a sticker on the top so I peeled it off and stuck it to the pattern paper that I wanted to use. I traced the circle, cut it out then glued it to the top of the brad.
To smooth out the edges I quickly sanded it then added a layer of glossy accents to the whole thing... I LOVE the way it tuned out and the best thing....I was able to use some small scraps!

Supplies Used:
Paper~ Kraft, White
The Paper Loft~Hooked On Fishing
Stamps~ Bugaboo Stamps~
Gus Birthday~Old Fart
The Alley Way Stamps~
Christmas Magic, Jibber Jabber
Ink~ Copic
Memento Rich Cocoa
Dies/Cuts~ Oval~
Silhouette Store
Other~ Brad from my stash

So that is all I have for tonight!
Hope you like my silly manly birthday card!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT night!!

Craft Your Passion Challenge #76~ Occupationals Hazards

Good Morning Everyone!
Hope you all had a great weekend!

It's time for another challenge over at Craft Your Passion.

This weeks challenge is Occupational Hazards #76
and the DT got the chance to work with images from
Dude Time Doodles/Bonibleaux Designs

Here is what I came up with
My image is Howie HotHotHot
I colored him with my copics and colored another image of his jacket, cut it out and layered it for alittle dimension.
I  added some glossy accents to his jacket for the shiny effect as well as on the water to give it the wet look.
I computer printed the sentiment....I had nothing in my stash of stamps that I felt worked with him and this was what I came up with~alittle corny I know :)
I also added some homemade skittles for alittle more extra.

I hope you will play along with us this week over at Craft Your Passion.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a GREAT day :)

" Just Droppin' In"

What started out to be a crummy day turned into a BEAUTIFUL spring day here in Buffalo. It is about time the weather gets nice, it stops snowing and the sun and warm air come. We had just that today, except for the little wind it was GREAT.

We got alot done outside...the chickens got to free range for a few hours and the kids were happy with their play dates.

I also got some cards done and this is one that I just finished.

I just LOVE Bugaboo Stamps and their digis. They are too cute and so much fun to color.
This is from the More Turtles collection...isn't he just the cutest?!

He was colored with my copics and I added some Glossy Accents to the raindrops.
I stamped Just Droppin' In from Stampenidous Changito BDay Stamp set inside a bottle cap. That was also covered in Glossy Accents
I  made some skittles in Sail Boat Blue, stitched around the outside and added some ribbon, twine and a flower.
My picture is not the greatest because it was taken at night but the turtle is popped up with foam dots.

So he will be entered into the following Challenges:
Catch the Bug Challenge- Singing in the Rain
Peachy Keen Stamps -Sketch Challenge 50 w/a Twist
